Lastly, now that it is summer they most certainly have everything one would need with regards to swimwear, pop up chairs, towels you name it. As he spent 20 minutes trying to do so while slamming the scanner, refusing to listen or admit fault, & making a lady wait behind when he could have called someone else... In going on a separate occasion I watched another teller ignore an elderly man making a purchase, & consistently give him attitude as he inquired about his purchases. My invoice states to call the client when the order comes in so I can pay for it and pick up and that wasn't done. I asked them if it was okay to pick up on the weekend August 1st the young man I was talking to said yes. I called August 2nd to confirm if order was ready for pick up since I don't live near, I get told that the 1 guy that is able to press the shirts has been out sick. To call back Monday to see if he is able to do it. I called Monday tied to talk to Joel he wasn't available, I got told they would work on it this week and I should be able to pick up after Friday August 7th. I called August 9th and the young man I spoke with said it's not ready should be ready in the following week! Like I'm not sure if you guys communicate with each other but it's so frustrating that we pay so much for a uniform and already have to wait a long time as well to get the uniform that we have to get at this store since this is where our club sends us and all this is happening and I know we aren't the only ones this happens too.

Anyway a friend casually suggested I try Rider Shack to repair my board. The guy taking in my board couldn't have been nicer and then he uttered the famous surfboard shop repair claim, "It shouldn't take more than 2 weeks'. Sure I thought to myself. But guess what? Approximate 9 days later I got my board back (!) and it was so well repaired I tipped the guy a few dollars to give to the repair guy, Jose, since I was so impressed. The capper was this. When I brought the board in I had forgotten to take the fins that the guy took off before taking in board for repair. I had forgotten I had left them at shop and searched my car throughout and then thought I must have forgotten the fins at the shop. So I called and Jeff (the owner) quickly found them and gave them to me. He even gave me an extra fin screw just in case I had lost mine. These guys rule. You definitely just gained a repeat loyal customer! Thx again. So appreciated.

Then when I got my rope, it was ringing up at a different price at the counter than what it was labeled on the shelf. They had the labels switched and wanted to charge me $10 extra for their mistake. When you do specialty retail, you should be able to answer basic product questions. When YOU make a mistake in labeling, you as the business should own up to it, and you take the hit and then go fix the label on the shelf so it doesn't help. The 3 star rating makes sense now.

Anyways, I walked in a few days ago bc it was one of the only things I recognized. After donating all my decks and snapping the only one I kept in half, I wasn't trying to buy another one - so I'm very grateful I was able to, and did. The store is remarkable and serves the Board community well. The thing about Arbor over other sporting goods type stores is that the products designed and materials used follow strict sourcing requirements to reduce the impact to earth. I got my first Arbor shirt at REI over 20 years ago and have been an avid follower of their products. I ended up buying several sweatshirts and hoodies which were embroidered or printed in very cool fashion. All the items I purchased were 50 percent off and are of great quality. The cashier and main employee was really nice, as we had nice conversations about our dogs and how she got into boarding. With such nice savings, I'll be back for value priced summer clothing in the next few months.
