Oof. This was ok and VERY expensive for what it is. It is by vendor, and so you can find some ok prices, but this is thrift flipping at its finest. The selection is decent, and obviously selection changes day to day. There were a lot of old shirts, and not in the best condition. Tons of jeans, this is a great spot to find those. read more

Probably my favorite antique mall I've visited in Columbus so far. Super well organized with prices that generally aren't outrageous. Definitely super fun to walk through even if you don't plan to buy anything. If you collect Pyrex, you want to check out this store. Honestly I've never seen so much vintage Pyrex in one place. It was amazing This store is packed to the rafters- literally- with vintage stuff and it's amazing to walk through. The basement was perhaps the biggest surprise- it was FILLED with mid century modern furniture as far as the eye could see! Room after room was filled with great stuff. Towards the back it got a little scary- it was more smalls than furniture and there was some different music piping in and with no windows it was like being in a weird time warp. But I loved it. It would take days to see all there is to see in that shop. Days. It's the ultimate treasure hunt. Word to the wise- just like any other antiques mall some sellers are more expensive than others :). Some of the prices felt a little high but as I walked through I found plenty of reasonably priced items just waiting for a new home!!! read more

Exploring this place is one of my favorite local activities. I got my junior prom dress here; I've even gone on dates here. There's so much fun ever-changing stuff to see, and a lot of it is very affordable. It's not one of those sparsely curated bougie antique stores that's basically a museum if you're not there with a huge designated furniture budget. There's something for everyone! read more

I'm always wary of antique "malls" because they usually include a lot of junk, so my first visit here was a really nice surprise. They have a great selection of vintage artwork, furniture, furnishings and clothing, with plenty of mid century modern items throughout. Very rude owner or whoever was at the counter !! We were on a long road trip and stopped by because it came up on our maps search and showed that they were open.... Doors were open so we walked in and told them we were from CO and stopped to check them out and asked if we could use the restroom and she very rudely told us we are closed and you need to leave !! That is no way to treat a customer !! Especially an older tourist couple !! Would never recommend this place to anyone !! read more

Very strange multi-level antiques mall. This place is full of junk - some good junk, most bad junk. I found some tarnished costume jewelry, an awful stucco gargantuan garden sculpture, and a creepy little raccoon marionette - I think it was made from a real taxidermied raccoon; the hands really freaked me out. I posted a picture on Yelp; check it out. I also saw some stuff that wasn't antique at all like crummy sequined masquerade masks. I think I'm most impressed by the size of this building. It's three stories of wares. There's so much here that if you sneeze, you might start an avalanche and be buried alive in dusty old collectibles. Really, I have often felt like the aisles were going to topple and encase me. Some pretty good old typewriters. And I found a cute pair of antique cat-eye kid glasses. This is a no fuss shop. I don't think some of the items even get dusted off before being put on the shelves to be sold. Quantity over quality. read more

A relatively large place stuffed with nostalgia and collectables, Eclectiques spans a floor, a basement, and a narrow loft-- and stuffed is an understatement. Obviously disciples of the renown merchandising style know as 'chaotic clutter,' the staff here organize their inventory in random corners, around distinct coves, and in arbitrary displays with no concern for time wasting concepts like categorization. It is a real attention-overloading walkthrough with everything everywhere, and I love it. It is what a good antique buy-and-sell should be. I wouldn't call myself an antiquer per say, and I have never sold anything here so I can't comment on the condition of their stuff ( in terms of collector 'analism') nor their buying practice. I do enjoy antique shops like this. To me they are organic museums of art, history, and culture. Usually I come here to gambol around, remember, and imagine. This trip I came to treasure hunt for creative Christmas gifts, or better....something for myself! Item here span the gamut of the retro and the vintage. Baseball cards from the eighty in a book throw on the floor, glass blown gothic ceiling lamps and asian table lamps and deco lamp shades on neo-classical bases, old Parker Brother Monopoly game on cases of jewelry, 1960 style barber chairs and cubic colorful 60s dining room chairs, furniture from early to mid 20th century, pictures and mirrors from the late 1800's, sports memorabilia, grandfather clocks in need of TLC, tabletop and wall junk galore, throwback radios, cabinet record players and albums $6 a pop, newspaper with historic headline, housewares, and textiles of bygone times. And that is just the first floor. Down the narrow stairs is a basement full of more eclectic stuff. There you'll find clothing: women and men 1920s hats, dresses and other vintage schmatte. A loft overlooking the first floor reveals more fun goodies. You can spend a couple hours here. I find the prices reasonable. This antique mall could only improve by being bigger. But it's already pretty big, so I have no real complaints. You have to really like looking through tons of stuff to get the full effect of this place. A lot of it is junk, or only worth something because it happens to be inside an antique store. Sometimes, when something is really old, it really sucks. Valuing something purely on the fact that it's old is a great way to blow money. The mall is divided up into a lot of different vendors, so it's not uncommon to see two of the same items for completely different prices. I think the basement is especially cool. If I was living in my parent's basement, I would want it to look like that. It comes complete with retro furniture and a stack of 60's and 70's Playboys. read more

The vastness of this three-floor monster is definitely afternoon-consuming. Not that that's a bad thing. I love this huge antique mall located in Clintonville. There is so much inside this place that it spills out onto the sidewalk -- which is full of rad retro bicycles lately. The ground floor is full of super-neat stuff: old cameras, vintage jewelry, housewares and other random items. There is a small second floor which houses the music section. Instruments, CDs, records, stereo equipment and magazines all find a home here. It's my favorite part of the store. The basement contains lots of vintage furniture (some of which is from neighboring Mad 4 Mod) and clothing. And don't be surprised if you see an old Pac Man arcade game down there. The help can be a little touchy. They don't like people with big bags much. Also, the prices sometimes seem steep. You're definitely paying for the convenience of having all this neat-o stuff in one place. Enjoy. read more

I don't normally frequent antique malls, but since we were already in Columbus and this place was close by, we decided to see what they had. Nina was all about their vintage comic book items. She ended up buying a set of Batman cards for $60. I spent most of my time checking out their old school designer clothes. I found a 60s looking coat that I came so close to buying, but knew it wasn't exactly my style and although I loved it, I probably would never wear it. They also had a nice selection of furniture that caught our eye, but would not fit in my Civic to bring back to Maryland. Eclectiques is a nice gem in the Clintonville area for a waste of an hour, or so, or a trip back for all the oldies. This place is like my dream antique place, and believe me, I grew up on collecting antiques, as did my parents, so I've been to the higher end antique houses, and the just plain junky places, and I will say that Eclectiques fits nicely in between, but what I really enjoy about this place is the reasonable prices the dealers have on their items. Yeah, there's some not so old junk mixed in at times, but there is also some treasures if you look hard enough behind the stacked objects, or under items. I'm craving the day I actually have a house instead of an apartment, because ecletiques will probably be getting a lot of my business. Some of the retro furniture they get in here is unique and superb! If you're a skinny wiener, unlike myself, then I suggest to take a gander at the racks of retro and vintage clothing they have. I was quite envious of some of the cute sun dresses I pulled out that were in impeccable condition. They also have a ton of costume jewelry out that wazoo to accommodate, AND it's cheap. So... don't just think of antiques as smelly knick knacks your Grandma had in her curio cabinet for decades (even though they have those there too) think of shopping at Eclectiques as recycling something that was just too cool to bite the dust. I'm not really into antiques but my brother and his girlfriend wanted to go because they heard about it online so I decided to meet them. This place has everything from vintage clothes to old furniture. It has three floors and it is packed to the max. I kind of felt like I was in the middle of a fire hazard but I think most antique malls are like that. Pretty much a little bit of everything you can think of, they have. The guys that were in there working were very friendly too. I guess if I was an antique-y person, I'd give this more stars. I just don't like paying a million dollars for old stuff. Call me a tight wad. However, if you are looking for antiques of any kind, definitely go here first. You just might find what you're looking for. read more

If you are claustrophobic or prone to clumsiness, this is not the place for you! Although it looks small from the outside, this antique "mall" is chock-full of everything including old iron tools, pyrex, postcards, horrible looking furniture, a popsicle stick lamp, bottles, cans, chairs, desks, tables, jewelry, cracker-jack prizes, clothing, etc etc. I like what Anele said, "It can be charming or irritating depending on your mood." I was looking particularly for certain furniture pieces, but the boy was having a blast poking through all the corners, taking pictures for instagram, and trying out the musical instruments. You definitely have to be in the right mood to go through this store, although I can see it being a great date place -- sifting through odds and ends and seeing what jumps out at each other. read more

During my most recent trip, this place was in flux. They were redoing the carpet (which really needed it) and moving thousands upon thousands of of obscure and fragile items. You could tell the owners were feeling fairly guilty about the chaos. Apparently people come from all over to explore this place. There was a group of elderly folks who apparently come once a month from the outskirts of Ohio. One of the ladies was in a wheelchair and she was able to explore part of the store, although she mostly stayed at the jewelry in the front. I'm not sure if she could have made it through some of the tighter corridors. The antique mall is set up to be a bunch of little 'rooms', many of them themed around something or another. This place is stuffed to bulging seams. Be sure to look in every little box and peek around every cranny. There are some truly spectacular finds just waiting to be unburied. I really can't begin to describe the variety here. Mall is honestly the right word for the place. Although I leave usually having a strong urge to wash my hands there's usually something or another that comes with. My last great find there was a couple of inexpensive glass bracelets. read more

I would love to give this place at least four stars for the fact that I once got a great set of chairs delivered for free in the dead of winter at a great price. But after months of debate over a darling "Bambi" flower pot, my family bought it for me as a gift. In our previous visits the staff assured us it was official Disney memorabilia. Partly our fault for not doing our research, needless to say it is not what they claimed and I have seen at least 5 more like it for $60 cheaper. Insincere and misleading staff means we will never purchase from them again. Plenty of other shops in the area and beyond with better deals. read more

This is the best antique mall I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot). Make sure you give yourself plenty of time. I spent two hours there and could have spent another three searching through the immense piles of gorgeous antiques. The prices do really vary. I found an adorable antique metal toy for $5 but there were similar toys for around $100. There is something for everyone, whether your really into antiques or just looking for some awesome hats. I found this place kind of oppressive even though the guys running it seem nice. I kind if loved the basement as it was so weird. Ugliest lamps ever. Really, really ugly lamps! My wife and I were looking for midcentury furniture to go in our new house, and we've been to vintage stores all over town. If you're looking for midcentury-era furnishings, this is the best place I've found in town. The entire basement is packed with hard-to-find gems from the 50s and 60s, mostly in good condition. What really stood out to me though was the prices. Other places I've been, like Grandview Mercantile and Flower Child, charged far more for similar goods, perhaps because their Short North overhead is higher and perhaps just because they're snobby. At Eclectiques, the pricing is fair. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Go up to Clintonville and wander around a little. You'll see some great vintage items and probably walk out with a thing or two. read more

Last Saturday I picked up two matching mid-century modern bathroom light fixtures, for only $10 a piece! I love the selection here, it ranges from furniture to fixtures to clothing. I spoke to Paul, one of the dealers several months ago about my collection of fine crystal. He said that he wanted to see the Fostoria pieces from Marshall Fields, bought in the 1970's. I brought them in this week, and he said that although I was asking a fair price, he didn't have the room for them. Now this is where I have a problem worth reporting. If he didn't have space for them, why would he want to see the Fostoria pieces? He didn't have room several months ago, and he didn't have room to show them now. Why did he waste my time? I always have fun browsing in here. Since there are 30-some dealers that rent space in the same building, prices vary in a big way. Really, I was shocked at how much stuff here is in fact, junk. But that's the fun of an antique shop, to dig, dig, DIG. There is a nice section of vintage clothing that is fun to sift through. There is a large selection of all types of vintage and antique jewelry. If you like antique photographs, there is an enormous shelf overflowing with them, on the cheap. Three floors of great vendors. Lots of smalls for small spaces for decorations in your home. There is a huge section downstairs with vintage clothes. There is a vendor downstairs that sells mostly mid-century furniture at decent prices! The guys at the register up front are ready available to help out, every time we passed the check out counter one of them asked if we needed any help or wanted to see anything. Unfortunately my husband and I didn't find anything we were itching to buy that day, but we'll be back. I'm sure there's stuff we missed and I'm sure the vendors will bring in new stuff as we go back periodically. This is a great part of town too. I always said "we should go there" when driving by but we never did until one day the hubby turned around and said "lets go!" The first time you go, it's almost overwhelming. Lots of little nooks with TONS of stuff to sift through. It can be charming or irritating depending on your mood. The furniture is mostly downstairs and the vintage clothing, knick knacks and such are on the main floor. I like this place a lot. The main appeal for me is how close it is to where I live (compared to the Springfield antique mall) and the other little antique stores on the same corner. Makes for a fun day of walking around the shops in the area antiquing and thrifting. The selection here is big for the space, and very eclectic. Prices are reasonable but they won't negotiate anything under $10. As with most antique stores, I wouldn't suggest going here with the intention of finding anything specific. It's just a fun place to wander around and maybe find something that you didn't expect. I go here regularly and will definitely continue to do so! read more

I'm a big mid century vintage shopper. I came in today with a friend and was constantly followed by a lady with short hair asking if I needed anything 5 times within half an hr following us around like we were trying to steal something? It was very uncomfortable. Another thing that was uncomfortable was the amount of racist vintage items including pickaninny figurines displayed through out the entire shop a racist cookie jar a framed photo of a man in black face...some things should just be left in the past and being followed didn't help and no I am not Caucasian so I had a very uncomfortable experience in the shop. Also the employees were talking crap about their customers or dealers to each other on how they wasted their time not buying more of their items or what not. It was unprofessional. Other than that the mid century items are good and if you can withstand all that you should be able to find some good vintage pieces for your home. read more

I could spend hours here, especially Christmas shopping because they have a lot of random and hard to find things. Not necessarily antiques, it looks like about ten estate sales on 2.5 floors with everything from jewelry and shoes to appliances and decor. It helps to go with a mission, as I have the past two Halloween seasons. This year I did not succeed in finding a purple dress for my costume, though I did find about 6 to try on that were all priced at $20 or below. My only gripe is that they don't have a dressing room, and the bathroom is barely big enough for one person to stand, so shopping for "antique" clothes is quite difficult. Unless you find a mirror in a corner and downstairs and try on clothes over what you're already wearing, which I may have done. Anyway, if you have time to waste in Clintonville or a specific random item to buy definitely check out Eclectiques. The owners are really friendly too. read more

This place is a bit crowded with things and filled with interesting finds among its 3 levels. You will find a little of everything like furniture, decorations, vintage clothes, fine china, and jewelry. All the items looked cool but my main goal when I go to these types of places is to find interesting clothes. So, from here on out I'll only be commenting on that. So, the clothes were priced a little more than what I would like to pay for second-hand pieces. For example, I saw a basic shirt from Rue 21 priced at $15. Rue 21?! Seriously that store is filled with cheaply made items for teens and it was resold for that much. The selection of clothes was decent. Most of the clothes are located in the basement. However, I feel like the sizes cater more to bigger girls. If you're bigger than a medium and enjoy vintage clothes you'll like this place. read more
