Eclips was recommended by a friend for my son. Isela cuts my friend's 3 grandson's hair. It is a cute salon across from St Catherine's School. My son is very picky, and he went to 2 other hairstylists before choosing Isela. She is absolutely wonderful and does her best to work him in due to his schedule. I had the worst experience ever! The owner of the shop told me after she screwed up my color that she shouldn't have taken me. All I wanted was my roots touched up because they were grown out a bit and I just wanted them to match my blonde hair. She turned my hair orange!! I asked her if she could fix it and she said "not today"! But then put a ash on my hair to town it down after I practically begged! I left in tears! I have an appointment with my original girl who I didn't go to only because her dad died. She is now taking appointments again. I paid 190.00 for a horrible experience. Don't go! Unless you want to be treated rudely and want your hair screwed up! Simply horrible! read more

I went to get curtain bangs and I turned out to look like tiger king lol I went in to ask for a refund twice NICELY but the manager was rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain to her the transaction situation. I paid $49 and she said she could only give me $15 back because they washed my hair... keep in mind they offered to wash it and never mentioned no price. Don't go when it's time for kid pick up, she will literally leave you with an untrained employee. My daughter wanted a simple cut with bangs. We asked that it be cut straight, no V or U shaped in the back. One side is U shaped and the other is an attempt to be straight. Her bangs are so choppy that this poor child pinned her bangs to the side for the first day of school. No one knew how to take a payment so they call the owner on speaker phone. The owner is yelling "Oh well I don't know what to tell you, tell them to use Zelle." I don't use Zelle so I waited 20 minutes for her to come back. Upon her arrival she storms in and rudely apologizes and shoves a tablet in my face. Her hasty attitude and unprofessionalism deserved a lower star rating. I was desperate to do my hair I was really happy to find this place was open I walk in they sat me in and put the towel and t other stuff to protect the clothes do the owner or manager comes and ask what I want done do I ask her a couple of questions right away she was rude and annoyed by my question i told her I want highlights to which she said that they do just the highlights for 65 and just leave t rest of ur hair untouched " how ugly is my hair gonna look!!!" So I told her no and want my hair to look nice so do everything she still looks rude and annoyed so I show her a pic of my hair before and told her can u get it like this she answer rudely well I don't know ur hair have never worked on it before so I don't know and she start getting the towel off and told me to go somewhere else . I do not know about their hair services, but in regards to nails, unless you want a simple full polish, I highly suggest that you do not go here. I simply came because I saw their mani/pedi sign when I passed the area frequently. I requested a simple V-shaped french tip & the end result is not even. Also, I noticed after I left that some of the finishing gloss was missing from half of one of my nails. Also noticed an odd white speck one of my nails before I left. I mentioned it to the manicurist and her response was "It's your nail." I know that that is absolutely false. I have never had any such thing ever before. The whole experience was not very pleasant because both manicurist seemed like they did not know what they were doing. I do not recommend this place for nails. Lastly, I also saw another "not so happy customer" and heard the manicurist finishing up her nail say, "Hopefully it's better THIS TIME." RED FLAG! Go elsewhere! read more

Wow a real barber. It's a full service hair salon but they have one station that's traditional barber style cuts. The cut was precision barber style with all the fine razor blending and shave. I asked for a fifties style cut and she created a chiseled masterpiece. Loved it! My wife loves it too, she said "you look like that guy on American Idol!" I know! Exactly! Dont know about the hair but girl doing the pedicure was doing a great job except cut my toes uneven and design is uneven til someone else came in for the same thing and they were wrapping there feet. Well lets move onto the nails. Another lady Filed into my finger removing my old acrylics. Put my tips on crooked hardly used any acrylic finally. Called over the shop owner because the girls didnt understand english and showed her, i had to stop her she made feel bad when she used the word gordita. Come to think of it she didnt even use primer on my nails befor applying the very thin layer of acrylic, that hand will lift. They still charged me full price for these horrible nails. She charged me $160 just for one solid color which my hair was already dark brown , I had greys to cover up & when I told her I wanted to keep it the same color (dark brown) she said "well mine is darker , close to black .. is that okay?" ... I obviously had no choice but to say okay. So I def needed to color all of my hair so it's even with the hair color she had. Added some layers to my hair as well. (Hair cut) So for solid hair color & hair cut was $160 !!!!! Outrageous !!! Her shop isn't located in Beverly Hills for crying out loud. It's RIVERSIDE! I didn't even bleach my hair & it was that much! I used to have blond hair with my hair stylist before & she charged me $100!!! To bleach, tone, cut & style for $100 & her hair Studio was a lot cleaner & nicer . Plus in Whitter too. She needs to lower her prices! Never going back again. read more

Made an appointment on a weekday for a weekend hair cut. Came in a few minutes early, and I saw the lady cutting a walk-ins hair. She looked almost done, so that didn't bother me. What bothered me was that she looked at me and said, "Didn't you cancel?" and then turned to the other lady working and asked who cancelled, and the other lady replied, "Your /other/ 4:00." So she told me it would be about half an hour, so I went across the street for some coffee. Half an hour later I came back, and she was cutting the same lady's hair. She didn't even acknowledge me at this point. Finally, fifteen minutes later, she was just about done. It was now 4:45, and I was getting pretty sick of waiting. Without saying anything to me or anyone else, she finished with the one lady she was working on, and started cutting another's hair! It was incredibly beyond rude to have me come in, early nonetheless, and have me wait already 45 minutes, and then expect me to wait even longer? So I left and I will never come back because as good as her haircuts might be, she treated me horribly. Nothing is worth that. read more
