Stay away! If I could leave -5 stars I would! My fiance wanted a haircut and some of our friend told her about this place and that they charge ONLY $25 for a haircut. My fiance wanted JUST a haircut, and she made sure to ask multiple times (on the phone and in person to the lady who cut her hair) about the price. My fiance didn't want the lady to blow dry her hair and even told her that she can just do it at home. After telling the lady in English and Spanish to not blow dry her hair the lady started and didn't say anything, she just continued on! Well that supposed $25 jumped up to $55 ?!?!? When asked why, the lady said because she blew dry her hair! My fiance disputed with the lady about the price but the lady was adamant about the $55. Absolutely trash of a business practice. The lady spoke only Spanish and barely understood English so my fiance made sure to ask and confirm in Spanish about the price before hand so I know there wasn't a language barrier about not wanting the her hair blow dried. The cut was subpar and the place was not clean. My fiance didn't want me to waste my time writing this review but I am absolutely disgusted by how they get away with this! My fiance didn't want to tell me the lady's name but I wish she would so I can let everyone know about her trashy business ethics. Lord forgive me but what a trash of a person for using deceiving tactics and shame on that lady but also the business for allowing it. For reference she went 3/15/25. read more

Stay away. I had my hair cut by Anna a couple weeks ago. I have been waiting to leave a review, I really wasn't going to, but every time I mess with my hair. I just get so upset as to what happened. I am not sure what happened with my haircut. It is very depressing. It took me forever to grow out my hair, As you can see in my before picture, my hair is very long and very thick. I was looking for a specific cut. I always get the "V" cut. Anna said she can do it. However, I believe the haircut was a little above her experience being she's only been cutting hair for 8 months. As you can see, for whatever reason, she cut 90 % of my hair straight across where the yellow dots are. Not only is this wrong for the haircut I wanted, but it is not even straight. I have tons of places where my hair is uneven. It is by far the worst haircut I ever had. I can't even wear my hair up because all my thickness is gone, I try to put it in a ponytail and all of that blunt, straight across hair sticks out, and it looks so bad. What sucks even more is I cant even get it fixed because I will just have to chop more off. I was so nervous to get my hair cut by someone new because of this reason, I should have just listened to my gut. I actually told Anna that It took me forever to grow my hair out and I was nervous to get it cut. I also had my hair dyed by Anna, and when I left I had more dye on my face than when I do it at home. For a future reference, if a client comes to you with a specific haircut and the haircut is above your experience don't do it. read more

Had a friends retirement party coming up and looked a little bushy headed and the party was in a Monday! Most you know going to find an open salon on a Monday can be a little annoying, but found this salon open when i got to Riverside . I called to make sure I can get my haircut and 15 minutes later I walked into the salon and meet Ana. I stuck with Ana for two years. My hair was a mess before coming to her. She would trim my hair and would do the balayage. My hair was finally "healthy" until I decided to switch the look and go for blue hair. She swore she used semi-permanent hair color. My hair color was washed out now and I asked her is my hair ready to color my hair back to how I originally had it? She said yes and there she goes using bleach to get the remaining blue/green out. I sat there for hours and no success. She accused me if I used any other blue hair products bc she was having a hard time getting the blue out. I never once messed with my hair since going to her. She still charged me too for horrible results. Anyways, she said to come back and we'll try again; free of charge. I come back and this time she does the balayage on me. End results were horrible! Some parts were blond and other areas were green/yellow. She had the audacity to tell me well we'll have to grow out your hair to get the blue out. I left very angry bc my hair was horrible (it was so frail/fried/thin) and for her to tell me we'll have to start over after it took me two years to grow out my hair. In three days went to another salon and just told them to chop it all of. If I could go bald I would have bc my hair was fried. Ana is only good at balayage not any other color. You either have virgin hair or previous balayage hair. If you seen her Instagram page that's all she posts. All the before pictures are virgin hair or previous work done. When she cuts hair she tends to use thinning scissors to thin out your end. I saw her with those scissors and I'm like what are you doing with those! She should have been honest that red and blue are the hardest colors to work with. Anyways, go at your own risk. Try the other ladies, but Ana do not recommend for any other hair. read more

Now, I'm not one to sign up voluntarily for pain, but my "situation" needed to be addressed before my upcoming trip. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU, Shaye put all my fears to rest. Firstly, she greeted me with warmest smile then it was uphill from there. We sat down and she explained the procedure so thoroughly along with instructions on the follow-up aftercare. Secondly, the atmosphere was so clean and welcoming, her playlist was on point. Thirdly, she uses quality products based upon your individual needs, (skin sensitivity, thickness of hair, etc), and her technique was as gentle as waxing could possibly be. Which was shocking to me because I really expected to be peeled off the ceiling or told to quiet down from the screams in anticipation of the pain I thought I was going to have. However, although there was some discomfort, it was NOTHING CLOSE to what I thought it was going to be. I genuinely felt so relaxed that it would have been nothing for me to zone out. Shaye is awesome at what she does, she always checked in on me to make sure I was good with the temperature of the wax and the removal process. She really made me feel at ease and comfortable, considering this was the first Brazilian wax I have ever had. I've already made my follow-up appointment with her. I had such a terrible and awkward experience here today (Saturday). I went in around 3:00-3:30pm after a long day. It states very clearly on the front that walk-ins are welcome and they're even open until 6pm. I go in and the place is empty. I had to call out for someone and eventually a girl with red hair, the only available stylist, walked out and I confirmed with her that they accept walk-ins. I initially went in just to get a trim ($15) but I asked her if they do conditioning treatments because I was curious. She proceeded to tell me that it's better if I come back on Monday for the conditioning treatment because she has an engagement party she needs to attend and she was supposed to get off at 3:00pm. Strangely, nobody else was working there except for the owner who was doing eyelash extensions on another client. I told her to go ahead with the trim. She didn't bother to ask if I wanted my hair cut dry or wet, instead making the decision for me. She did ask if I wanted to trim my bangs, which goes to show that she wasn't paying attention at all since I very clearly don't have bangs. She seemed to expect a $5 tip at the end, too, which was crazy to me. Don't accept walk-ins if you're this understaffed.
