I wish I could leave two stars. I think this business is owned by another owner since the location moved to a different part of the building . I came two years ago and they were amazing. Now, they are trash. I had the same problem of scheduling an appointment and no one showed up. I tried to call for days with no call back. The day before when I tried to make an appointment in person and saw others waiting for an appointment and no one was there. I was so embarrassed because I was bringing a new customer. These guys do an awesome job of tinting your windows with great detail. When you go inside to choose the type of tinting you want they show you the four types: Retroflex, Terraflex, Panaflex, and Nanoflex. One of the guys has a UV light and lets you feel the difference between the types of tinting and how they block out the infrared heat. All 4 types block 99% of the sun's UV rays. I chose the dark (not street legal-but I take full responsibility for that) Panaflex. You do not have to choose the darkest of any of the types of Flex tints, but I wanted that dark 5% Panaflex tint AKA the Nunyabizness Tint. My car looks much better with it. Place has gone downhill. I have had 3 vehicles done here in years past. I was satisfied with all but one. Not surprised though. Every time I went there was a new tint tech. Last vehicle had bubbles but the business replaced it. New tint tech (black guy) left his sweat stains and fingerprints on my headliner. 2nd time using these guys. Had a window done on my daughters car 2 years ago, good job then with no problems today. Had 2 windows done today, with an appointment I was seen about 30 -40 minutes after my scheduled appointment, no big deal, they were finishing up other vehicles when I showed up. They got mine done relatively quick and with no issues. I will update my review in about a week once the tint has had time to fully cure. These guys were good, nothing fancy, just good solid work. I will use them again if needed or tell others about them. Watch where you park, they share a lot with another business and some blonde headed guy from the other business started to act like a Karen when I wasn't leaving his area quick enough. My whip got some shades today! After much research, I came here 3 years ago, and got my husbands truck tinted, and it has held up strong, no bubbles and no fading to purple!!! So I bought a new car and drove it right to Eclipse tinting to get tinted. Like my husband I chose the lifetime warranty carbon tint and got the darkest tint I could get on a car with Virginia tags...50% front and 35% back windows. This business has a very comfortable laid back work environment, and the tinters are nice and helpful. My car with tint and labor was an even $200 (w/lifetime warranty), and tbh, I would have paid more for the quality I recieved. It is CASH ONLY so please know that prior to arrival, and you'll be good to go. There is a comfy waiting area with some couches and a TV while you wait or you can roll out and come back like I did, cause they do one car at a time and first come first serve. I arrived back to pick up my car and she was BEAUTIFUL! I looked over every inch of my windows and for it to be freshly done and still needing to set for a few days it was PERFECT! Really happy with the quality of the tinting I received today. The store was a tad hard to find, it's on the inside of a used car sales lot and I believe a repair shop. It's marked on the outside and when you drive into the parking lot you will see several reserved parking spots for the tint shop. The shop is located through the garage-also I think if you are expecting a spotless garage, with a group of professionals, with uniforms on, you might be surprised. These are real blue-collar workers, who own a business, some prior service with a Sailors mouth, that does quality work. I received exactly what I came for. Echoing what a previous reviewer said, make sure you have cash as that's all they take. But the prices are definitely fair and they stick to their quotes. I had these guys do the front two windows on my truck and they charged me $50, which was a great price. They had it in and finished in about a half hour, and the film is flawless. They also warranty their work. They did offer me $10 off if I came back to get anything else tinted with them, which was nice. They're knowledgeable on the laws and seem to have a pretty good selection of tint films available. This is a small neighborhood operation, for sure, but it is quality. They've been around forever and know what they're doing. It's nothing fancy, but you will get a solid job done at a solid price. read more

These guys did a great job removing and applying the new tint I requested. The staff is very friendly and professional. The price was by far the cheapest from all the tint shops I called(called all listed on yelp within a 25 mile radius of Norfolk) and they use great tint film. Both are very professional and explained everything. Quoted $160 for all five glasses, and additional $25 for the top strip on the front windshield. The state of VA allows 50% up front. Anything lighter is special order. I was only customer at 4:00, with two guys working, she was done in an hour. I don't give out five stars often, but I love their service. I dropped my suv around 10:30-11am. The guy told me it shouldn't be a long wait, Probably around afternoon it should be done. So I Stayed at the customer lounge. It was a big room with one light and a tv. It was already 12 and I saw they weren't done with the two cars that were still there when I arrived. So I went home for a little. Called when it was 2pm. Said it wasn't done. So 3:30pm I went back to the place. Saw my suv inside. Looked like they started on it. I asked how much longer said it should be done by 4:20pm. Said the reason why it took long was cause they were short staffed. Overall little to no bubbles on my tint. Not too bad. read more

Dropped my car off a little after 10:30am (after being told i was a car or 2 behind). I called about 2pm & was told it was the next car. They called me around 3:30ish asking did i want my tint darker than i originally asked for (because of my sunroof's after market tint darkness)... i said no, just give me what i asked for & was told my car would be ready in 45 mins. Something didn't seem right so i went up there after not hearing from them after that 45 min window, only to see my hood up once i arrived. Apparently, my battery went dead during the tinting process & instead of telling me that they were charging the battery, they just kept adding more waiting time. I know batteries can go dead when doors are open for an extended time but the lack of communication didn't sit right w/ me. For what it's worth, the tint came out great. The customer service sucks. So i drove up and he gave me a good explanation on different styles of tint and even showed me the difference with a heat lamp. They were not pushy or anything. I had to take my tint off my car to get my car inspected and tried my best to get all of the tint off. I found this place here on Yelp and took my car to get new tint and they did an amazing job cleaning off the rest of the tint and glue and putting the new tint on. I was in the Norfolk area this week. I had heard of this tinting shop and was told walk ins welcome, so I had time to kill waiting for the wife clothes shopping, close by and I had time to give them a try. I was met by the owner Mark. He was very courteous and showed me what he had to offer. I wanted something to give me privacy, keep the car cool and protect the interior from ultraviolet rays, but lawful and a fair price. I he gave me suggestions and I let him go. I waited in the nice TV room area. His team did a fantastic job on my Windows, with no bubbles, just a nice window tint. Zero customer service & very unprofessional. I called and asked about making an appointment I was told first come first serve. So I show up the next morning at 9 AM The time they say they open. No one shows up till a little after 930. Someone else was waiting and got there before me before me. I was told after they finish up with the guy in front of me my car would be in next. I show up about five hours later 3pm. With nothing done to my car still just sitting. This was a day wasted with no car and now I have to go somewhere else and get my tent done. read more
