I am absolutely over the moon with VA Mobile Detail and the work they did on my car. Last night I had a passenger spill some brown liquor all over my backseat and floorboard. I was devastated as my car smelled disgusting and there were visible brown stains on my grey interior. With a quick internet search I found this company and booked an appointment first thing the next morning. Jeev showed up early at my location and was very kind as I showed him the problem areas. Exterior wash looks great, minus black trim pieces, exhaust tips, partially detailed side walls of tires, never saw him do anything with clay bar. paid for the engine bay detail, site said "$49.99 extra 40 minutes" he literally sprayed degreaser on let it set for a minute then pressure washed my engine and closed the hood 3 mins tops, didn't wipe excess water off or anything just dropped the hood. interior, no vents cleaned, no carpet cleaning, no headliner either. armor-alled my all weather floor mats, I had to wipe the excess conditioner off my seats and armor all off my my weather mats. For the most part the car looked great, the guys were quick and professional but they missed a section of the carpet and if I'm paying $85 (including tip) I expect that the car would look as close to perfect as possible. UPDATE: The VP came out and gave me a wash on him for the inconvenience and his work was amazing. He also let me they've updated their communication system and I will surely be coming back. Thank you guys! Bought a groupon from them and had to get it refunded because I couldn't even get in contact with them to set an appointment. I bought the groupon in August and tried calling them to set an appointment. After multiple attempts I finally got in contact with the lady who answers the phone and she was very condescending. She sounded as if she did not want to be there nor talk. Anyways after dealing with her attitude I came to find that for the rest of the week they were booked. Well yeah I guess that's not much of a surprise given their day lasts 3 hrs or so. I go to college away from home so that was the only week I could do it. I've been home two times in September and three in October. I've tried to contact them before every trip. Of course no answer. This month I tried to contact them for three days and of course no response. Until of course I contacted groupon asking for a refund. Well I got it and they definitely don't deserve business when their form of communication is poor. Also, their website needs to be updated. Information is inconsistent with their voicemail (trust me I know it by heart). Otherwise I do not know if their actual service work is good. My fiance car drain hose was clogged and water leaked all through her car floorboard. It had a sour smell. We called VA mobile and they shampooed and detailed her car inside and out. The sour smell is gone the detailer did a great job on her seats. The only thing I didn't like was my fiance had seat covers on her front seats and the detailer didn't asked if she wanted the front seats shampooed. My fiance seen that it wasn't cleaned after he left so she called and they immediately came back to shampoo the front seats. I would recommend them. read more

I've been using VA Mobile Detail for over a year and am very happy with everything. I have a monthly package and it's so worth it! Between the ease of their online scheduling and having them come right to my office, instead of spending precious weekend time at the car wash; it's great! Their customer service is top-notch too. If they are running early and can get to me sooner, they text to see if it works out. If not, no worries, they keep the regular appointment time. If it looks like rain is on the horizon, THEY give me a call to discuss keeping the appointment or rescheduling. Marquez is my usual detailer, and he is AWESOME; I feel like he loves my car more than I do! (Which is fine by me!) He's been cleaning it since I bought it, and it always looks brand-new thanks to him and the monthly spray wax. Everyone in my office watches him work and mention how great it keeps my car looking, on the inside and out. If you're considering using a service, VA Mobile Detail is the way to go! read more

I guess for the Groupon price because I assumed paying for waxing that my black car would look better than it did when I went to get it washed regularly, sadly it didn't! One thing I'd keep in mind for apartment dwellers is WHERE you're going to have the service performed-it requires about three consecutive parking spots worth of space what with your car, the Mobile Detail Van, and then room to open doors for the detailer to work inside. This proved tricky for our parking lot with assigned parking. Nixon was a complete professional and SO patient as we were forced to relocate several times. They did an alright job, it was my first time getting my car detailed. it was 85-90 just to get the front driver and passenger seat carpet cleaned and they didnt go under the seat like I thought they would. They are getting 3 stars because I needed it done on the same day I called and they had time. Def not worth the money.... There are better/cheaper place out there. read more

I used a groupon for a detail from Va Mobile detailing. I do think that the term "detail" was used loosely. It really was a car wash and vacuum. The windows were cleaned, and the tires too, but I do think it was just a car wash and vac. All in all a nice job on the car and the young man was very polite. Completely unorganized! Emailed to cancel my appointment within hours of making it because I had the bad luck to have my car break down. Called to follow up. At no point was I told that they would keep my deposit or that they could move my appointment if they didn't do a refund. I was told it was taken care of. Today they show up anyway and say they're keeping the deposit regardless. Their website, as far as I can tell, doesn't have a nonrefundable or transferable policy stated- but perhaps the fact that it looks as though it was programmed by a high schooler rather than a serious business site just kept me from finding it on mobile.
