I'm really unhappy with the deep cleaning service I received. One cleaner worked for 3-4 hours, but several major areas were left completely untouched. The microwave wasn't cleaned, some cabinets were still dirty, the oven was greasy, and the whole kitchen still felt oily. The bathroom wasn't scrubbed at all, and even the sink and countertop in one‑bedroom apartment were untouched. The reviews for this company were already mixed, but I expected a proper deep clean for the price. The information and reviews were confusing, and now I understand why. The cleaner also asked me to request more service hours, which doesn't make sense -- I shouldn't have to pay extra for tasks that should already be included in a deep cleaning package. They did clean the floors, but they didn't touch the blinds, and they didn't have the right tools to reach or wipe higher cabinet doors. Overall, I'm very unsatisfied and confused about what they consider "standard cleaning" versus "deep cleaning." People should be aware of this before booking. read more

Booked Cleany NYC for a move-in deep cleaning + wall washing and it was a huge mistake. Almost none of the services listed on their "deep cleaning" checklist were actually completed. The oven still had oil residue, the fridge and cabinets were dirty, baseboards were dusty, windows had cobwebs, and even the dishwasher and microwave exterior were dirty. Kitchen counters still had brown residue that came off when wiped. Bathrooms were not deep-scrubbed at all, there was still visible grime and rust inside the cabinets. There was no communication from the company when the cleaner arrived or left, no photos of the work, and no follow-up... just a charge for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. We reached out multiple times requesting a refund. This experience left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful move. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. read more

The apartment had very little furniture and all the belongings were in a corner in the livingroom. The Cleaner was told not to touch that corner. The bedrooms were close to empty and the refrigerator and freezer that she barely cleaned were fairly new with minimal stains. All areas that she needed access to clean were easily obtainable. In my opinion, CLEANY does not provide thorough deep cleanings. They provide a wipe down service that isn't worth $400 and they will try to leave early when there is still work to be done. PLEASE GIVE CREDENCE to their negative reviews and find a cleaning service that is worth the money. If not they may try to bully you into not posting a truthful review too. read more

Cleaner arrived on time with equipment and spent 5 hours cleaning nooks and cranny of each room and refrigerator was taken apart and locked and looks brand new after it was put back together. Dusk is the biggest issue with my apartment and it was taken care of with the exception of the baseboard radiator in the living room. I'm not really sure about all the 5 star reviews. I needed a deep clean for my apartment due to an incident. For a price of $304 cleany included inside cabinets, refrigerator and they would bring their vacuum cleaner. So I thought for the hefty price it's worth the try. Big mistake. Deep cleaning is only for 4 hours, and this is a sneaky way for them to charge more money. I wish I had gone with any other cleaning service because even with cabinet and refrigerator cleaning add ons, they cost less, but they cover everything! My cleaning professional was a nice lady but she was super slow (not sure if this was intentional) and didn't understand English, I told her to not focus on kitchen cabinets but to deep clean the whole house and if there's time to come back to the cabinets but finish cleaning the refrigerator first. She spent 1.5 hrs only on my kitchen! Then, she used my vacuum cleaner (until the battery was out). Then, she proceeded with the vacuum she brought. I have no idea why. My bedroom was not fully cleaned due to the lack of time. Not vacuumed under the bed. Furniture behind the couch was left dusty. So many unfinished work. It was just regular cleaning, not a deep clean. If I paid for a regular cleaning with them and they left my apartment like this, i would've said they did an amazing job.
