I found Patrick through his rave reviews on Yelp, and after a quick call discussing the size of my apartment and its condition, Patrick was able to book me the next day on a busy Saturday. Patrick and Alex spent 7 hours without break deep cleaning every inch of my home, including shelving, cabinets, vents, electric outlets, walls, ceilings, baseboards, and those cleaned-once-in-a-lifetime nooks and crannies. It was the kind of superb detailing work that truly takes 2 professionals the whole day, and I could have never done it on my own in even a week because I would just give up. They brought new cleaning supplies, fresh smelling non-toxic detergent, a powerful vaccum cleaner, and all the equipment needed to reach all those nooks and crannies. Rather than have me send photos, he came here and we went over everything I wanted done. No other company I contacted during my search offered to do this, but Rey did when I first spoke to him. Rey and Dharlynz were courteous and totally focused on their job. Rey was the person on his knees in the kitchen scrubbing off years of old wax. They scoured and cleaned my kitchen from the ceiling to the floor. This included washing inside and outside (glass) of my cupboards and then relined them. All my shelves were washed. Old wax was removed from both kitchen and bathroom floors. They even washed the glass on the overhead lights. My kitchen hasn't been this clean in years!! I will never hire any other company. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny.

We recently moved out of our 2 bed/1 bath apartment and needed a company to come to thoroughly clean the place before the new tenant moved in. What drew us to Orchid Cleaning was the flat fee (no concern about additional costs upon completing), the lack of a bogus fee for needing to bring a broom or vacuum, and all the great reviews. It all paid off! Being just a week before the needed cleaning, we thought it would be difficult to find someone, however the booking process online was seamless and quick. We received an email the next afternoon confirming our appointment, and asking about any special cleanings we may need, or any special instructions to access the apartment. Just like that, we had a cleaning booked! Nipcey, was AMAZING! She arrived 2 minutes EARLY, which never happens in New York. We walked around the apartment for 30 seconds to determine if there were any extras we needed cleaned. A few hours later, I returned to a meticulously cleaned apartment, and tipped her for the excellent work. She was polite, professional, and obviously experienced. I hired this company for a post construction clean up. I messaged over Yelp and was specific about the two separate spaces that needed cleaning, detailing the rooms and bathrooms and that there were two units. They came and asked about cleaning the "basement". We have a separate basement that I did not need cleaned, so I said no just the two units. They proceeded to not clean an entire until and said they "didn't have time". The cabinets in neither unit were cleaned and left covered in wood dust. Photo for reference. I have a one year old child and am deeply disappointed by the quality given how specific I was. They sent someone to clean the second unit the next day but the kitchen remains dusty. read more

This was my first time using Orchid and I don't plan on using any other cleaning service ever again. They were absolutely phenomenal across the board! The entire apartment was spotless. The customer service was everything I could ask for. They were extremely prompt in there response to my request. I sent a request at around 1pm, The called within the hour and had me schedule for 4pm that same day. On top of that, they arrived early! I have never dealt with a cleaning company who offers same day service! Amazing!!! They are also open 24-7 which is a huge blessing for me being freelance hairstylist that sometimes works long hours. Zero stars.. I have this place multiple chances. They send woman that have no experience and they dont know the difference between polish or windex ruining furniture. Last week my floors where so sticky, hanging 5 coats per hanger , mixing dirty clothes w clean clothes. Complete disaster. This week they walked out because the girl didn't want to clean the stove. DO NOT RECOMMEND management doesn't want to hear it and says these woman come and go and if they don't want to clean they don't have to ans left my house upside down. First I want to start off and say my apt looked like a hurricane hit it. Ms Doris and Monica were prompt and on time at exactly 8am. They got to work immediately, ask plenty of questions for items I may want to keep or discard and for reorganizing of items. My Apt look like I just moved in. I order the ladies Lunch and they were done cleaning shortly after we finished eating. Super kind ladies and I'd DEFINITELY ask for them again if I need it. The ladies who came in to clean the apartment had done an amazing job! They went above and beyond their job duties. I was quoted $135 for the cleaning, including 2/3 bedrooms in the apartment, the kitchen, bathroom, and common spaces. I was told they could cover these areas within the 3-hour minimum. In the three hours the cleaner was there, she only cleaned the kitchen and one bedroom, leaving behind the second bedroom, common room, and bathroom. The cleaner did a good job, but I wish there was better communication about what to expect, or an option to extend the cleaning to cover the areas promised, even if it required more money. The cleaner did a good job, but the timing of it all really didn't make sense.

Their quote stated how they bring all their own equipment but they showed up to clean a 1,300 square foot apartment with a little hand vacuum, did not mop any floor, did not clean the toilets or showers, and did not clean inside the refrigerator (which I spent extra for). Pictures attached. They were at my apartment for over five hours and were very unorganized, running out of time. My bedroom floors are now severely scratched and I am the idiot who did not get a COI before allowing them to enter my home. Why they even decided to move the bed around I do not know. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. However, they eventually responded to all my calls and emails and refunded me the $600. Be careful.

I used the Yelp feature of getting bids from multiple companies. I wasn't sure it would work. It turned out better than expected. I conducted the entire transaction via text. Spotless was not the cheapest choice; I discarded that one. But it was priced reasonably. They showed up a bit later than expected, but it was fine. I assumed if I wasn't the first appointment, I should build in leeway. I wasn't in the unit. They sent before and after photos. I went back the next day. They did such a good job, I wanted to tip. I would recommend them enthusiastically.

The women who cleaned my apartment were punctual (actually early!) and very friendly. They loved my cat! They worked for about 4 hours and did a very nice job. I didn't give a full 5 stars because although my apartment is very nice and clean, I specifically was looking for a deeper clean which I don't think I received. I would certainly use the service again because they did excellent work, there was just a disconnect between what I would consider to be a normal cleaning and a deep clean.
