ALWAYS ... have my shirts folded.... Cause that's all i bring in....the last 3 times i went my shirts are not folded..., so this time when I took them in ...the lady took them and said she would "Make sure they are folded and that its also in my file... TODAY i went to pick them up and the same lady was there.. went to get my shirts and ...guess what.. after she said would take care of it.....well clearly she didnt... then I ask for a manager and she informed me she WAS the manager .., which made me really angry since 1) she is the manager 2) she said she would take care of it when she didn't.., i asked for her boss she said no one was her higher than her... When I asked for my 2 shirts to be free... she said "I can do that $13.00... and asked me to never cone back again because i disrespected her authority.., ONLY to find the company on the card..., i did the research and its a totally NOT the name on the card so she lied.. again... read more

I came to EcoGreen Tom's Cleaners for the first time on Saturday with my work clothes to get them cleaned. I was given a receipt that said to pick them up at 5:00pm on Monday. I was told on Monday that they "just didn't get to my clothes" and that was it. I got a call 30 minutes later saying that my clothes would be ready Tuesday, so I went after I got off work only to find out that they decided to close more than an hour early. A man was sitting outside of their shop stressing out because that had closed before they gave him his 40th anniversary suit and since it was 6:00 he couldn't find a place to go get one. Now I'm sitting outside and they have yet to open even though its posted that they open at 7:00. Hands down the worst service I've ever had. read more

UPDATE on 9/9/2017 - After posting the original review on 9/8/2017, the owner called up and apologized for the conversation and agreed to pay the amount in full which I received in the form of check as on 9/9/2017. This is a good gesture by the owner and does encourage people to visit the store. Review posted on 9/8/2017 - I gave my almost new Tommy Hilfiger white polo shirt for dry clean and they completely ruined it. I wore that shirt merely ones. Not just the shirt collar was torn but the shirt was shrunk in size. I went to the shop and lady employee of the store agreed that the shirt is shrunk in size, she said we'll stitch torn collar to which I did not agree. I wanted refund for the shirt and when owner called, he not only denied the refund but threatened. I told him people have rights and there are regulations in this country. Foul language and threats is something nobody should bow down to. read more

So this was my first experience utilizing this dry cleaner. I dropped off quite a few shirts but when I returned to pick them up, I discovered other shirts mixed in with mine that weren't mine. After reviewing video tape with the owner from the date I dropped the shirts off, I'm pretty confident that I got all of my shirts back and these were just added into them. This was an issue because for some reason this dry cleaner does not keep track of the number of articles of clothing that you drop off! (I have a lot of shirts, so very difficult to have known which shirts I had dropped off that day) The second issue, and slightly more frustrating, is that I paid for the dry cleaning of the shirts that I did not own. When they got around to giving me a refund for this, I was only given $10 when it appears that I was charged $17.23. I say appears, because there were multiple receipt and tags involved because my shirts were inexplicably divided into three and four different bags. Also, I have no idea what shirts they elected to dryclean versus the shirts that were laundered. I specifically asked that they be laundered and only one shirt, a linen shirt, be dry-clean. I had 11 shirts returned to me, and I paid $56. $5 a shirt?!?! Not sure why I am paying the difference, but after having spent nearly 15 minutes trying to get it sorted out, and needing to return to my job, I guess I'm just going to have to take the hit. The shirts that were cleaned, appear to of had a decent job performed on them. The staff was friendly. However, i'm not comfortable and disturbed with the screwup, definitely not happy about paying anything for shirts that I don't known. read more

Not a bad place for the price. What frustrates me is that they give you a ticket when you drop off clothes but it doesn't list the number of each of the items you dropped off i.e. 6 dress shirts, 2 pants (no crease), 1 sport jacket. So if they lose one of shirts how would I know if I didn't keep count for myself? Also on the "drop off" receipt it doesn't include the total price due at time of pickup which is annoying. Makes me think that they could change the price on you without notice. They do a descent job for the price they charge. For laundered dress shirts they have tiered pricing based on the level of starch you request (light, normal, or heavy). Currently 1 laundered dress shirt with light starch is $1.65. Compared to Bibbentuckers, Toms Cleaners is a bargain for the same service without all the extra branding in the form of stickers, plastic, etc. Lastly whenever I go to pick up my order they immediately ask you for your last name but then they ask you to spell it which is totally inefficient. They should ask for your contact phone number instead as they always attempt to give me someone else's order that has the same last name with one letter off at the end (an S instead of a Z). I would use Toms cleaners again and you should try them for yourselves read more

I should have known when I turned in my dress shirts and they didn't count them or organize them that an issue would happen. I ended up getting two shirts back that were not mine. I went back to at least give the shirts back and hoped someone would help the fact that I was now missing 2 dress shirts ($30.00 per shirt) the guy there said I'd get a call that coming Monday. Over two weeks later...no call. Dry cleaners are a dime a dozen. I'll never use this one again. read more

I took one pair of pants to be dry cleaned and 3 shirts to be pressed. As awful as their work was i could've dine a better job myself. I don't have the fight in me to even go back and complain. This is so sad. Never again Tommy boy never again read more

This is the best dry cleaner I've tried in the area. I used to go to Boss Cleaners because it is located in my apartment complex, but even with the resident discount it was too expensive. Tom's Cleaners does a great job and has amazing prices. The owner is really nice too and is clearly interested in making customer's happy. I have had a great experience all around. read more

My wash machine went out over the weekend so I was in need of a fold and wash laundry. Well I just should I taken them down to the lake and clean them on a rock it would've come out better than Tom's cleaners. The material feels rough like they're still soap in it and the wrinkles well you can't get out those kind of wrinkles. The whole thing will have to be washed and dried and hung up again. read more

I wish I could give zero stars to rate this cleaner. I dropped off two pairs of pants, a skirt, and a sweater on 2/21/18 and told the woman at the front counter that I needed the items to be dry cleaned only, not pressed. Based on previous experiences with dry cleaners who have ruined my women's dress pants, I was told that I needed to specify that the pants cannot be pressed as it burns the fabric and ruins the color. I told the woman this 3 times - no press, do not press, these cannot be pressed. She appeared confused but took the items and said okay. I asked if she needed to make a note on the receipt regarding this request and she assured me that she would talk to the dry cleaning staff. She seemed to have some difficulty understanding what I was saying, in large part due to language barriers as she was a Spanish speaker. Given my discomfort with the situation, I called the cleaners 30 minutes later to talk to the office staff about my request. I again reiterated that the items could not be pressed, just steam only. I must have gotten the same woman because she said she had already told the people in the back and assured me it was "okay." Not surprisingly, when I picked up the items on 2/23/18 the pants were ruined. On the receipt it clearly states "press only" which was the exact opposite of what I requested. I tried to ask the person at the register about this and he seemed to be unable to do anything for me. He wasn't able to refund my ticket and did not even seem to know who to call until another man came in and asked what was going on. Apparently the owner had left as it was 530 on Friday (despite the fact that they are open until 630). after a 45 min wait, I had explained the issue fully to staff that said he didn't even really work there and he agreed that the woman I referenced did not even KNOW ENGLISH so she shouldn't have been taking orders. They finally got someone to come to the shop who could "help" and refund the money I paid for the "dry cleaning" and reimburse me for the pants. I was not asking for any reimbursement with any other items as they were still wearable despite some pulls in the sweater and stains remaining on the other two items. (probably because they didn't dry clean them, only pressed). The more official staff member then came in and he also seemed to have difficulty understanding my complaint. he was incredibly rude and went so far as to follow me out of the store continuing to explain away the issue and make excuses for their poor service. due to language / cultural differences, I cannot discern whether this was just poor customer service or just disrespect to women. This man finally agreed that the pants were ruined and unwearable but make no remarks about the other items. I appreciated him admitting to the largest mistake but you can't really argue that because the color is out around the front and back pockets and there is a sheen to the entire pair of pants. He finally gave me back part of my money for the service (18 instead of 18.59 - I guess he couldn't be bothered to give me the 0.60 cents). I showed him the pants online which clearly showed a retail cost of $88 plus tax and I demanded that he reimburse for this value. He refused but kept saying that he wanted me to "be happy" with what he was giving me which was the refund of the services they failed to perform. After another 30 minutes of being talked down to and invalidated he begrudgingly offered me $30 for the pants. I don't know why he thought this would be sufficient but he continued to suggest that it was a miscommunication and that they could not be responsible for their part. Seriously? I was in tears at this point and left. Later, my husband called to speak to someone but ahd to leave a voicemail for the manager to call back. He never did. Today, 5 days later, my husband went into their location and asked to talk to the manager. He must have had the same man because he got a lot of excuses and no customer service. we are still waiting for the manager to call back and refund us the $60.60 for damages / replacement value. read more
