There are a few dedicated parking spaces for unloading close to the donation truck/table but occasionally I just park in the customer lot and walk my stuff over. I ask for a receipt for tax purposes. Inside the store, the retail floor space is huge filled with rows of neatly organized clothing racks, furniture, glassware, household items, shoes, etc. This makes for easy perusal of items and an enjoyable shopping experience.

Donations When I did my last drop-off about a week ago, the gentleman running the donation area rushed over to help me with my bags and then gave me a receipt that was already filled out with the date/signature. The entire process took about 30 seconds - easiest donation drop-off ever. Shopping I've found so much great stuff here in almost every department (clothes, furniture, home decor, etc.). It's also more reasonably priced than other thrift stores in the area, and more organized as well. Customer Service The donation drop-off guys are really friendly and efficient - they go out of their way to make it an easy process. The store employees are equally amazing. Every time I go up to the register with a big pile of stuff, I'm apologetic and flustered about how much ringing up they have to do - but they're ALWAYS super nice and helpful. They literally never have a bad attitude or get annoyed, even when I take a bit of time to pack up my items or change my mind last-minute. I also appreciate the fact that they go out of their way to help me organize my stuff so I can get to my car easily - I'm a small person with some big purchases haha, so I really appreciate that extra effort they put in to make my life easier. It required multiple trips and grueling labor in 90-degree heat, yet they finished the job at a reasonable price. They even swept up afterward, making it seem as though all that junk had magically disappeared. They followed instructions precisely and were impressively responsive throughout our communication. I've been going to Ranchtown Recycling in Willow Glen on Lincoln Avenue for many years. I've owned…read moremy heating and cooling company for over 26 years, and whenever I have old furnaces, copper evaporator coils, scrap metal, or other materials to get rid of, this is the place I go to. What I really like is how easy they make the whole process. I simply pull up, unload everything, and they take care of the rest. Yes, I know I could probably make extra money selling some of the metal separately, but honestly, the convenience, service, and professionalism here make it worth it for me. They also recycle aluminum cans, bottles, and many other materials, and they pay customers for recyclables. It's a family-owned business, and I've known the owners and their father for a long time. Good people, hardworking, and always respectful. Just a heads up -- it can get busy at times because a lot of people come here to recycle and cash in their materials, which says a lot about the business itself. I got a quote from Richie and one other contractor in Concord for buildable removal, but decided to go with Richie even though his quote came in a little higher. He did a good job answering my questions and I like that he is local. Richie was able to get the permits and start the job ~6 weeks later. Appreciate he was a willing to coordinate around my business trip. Also, the weekend before they were to start we found out one of our neighbors was planning a backyard gathering on Monday. I texted Richie on the weekend and he said no problem, they would start on Tuesday. Once the team showed up to start the job, they were great at communicating what they were planning each day. They had to remove a section of fence and a small greenhouse to gain access. They also decided not to risk damaging our old driveway with the heavy trucks, so fill dirt was dumped in the street and transferred to the backyard with the bobcat. This showed me that they really care and are thoughtful about what they are doing. I was able to go to work each day without worrying about being there to supervise. The team showed up each day as scheduled and after the concrete demo, rebar cutting, ~28 truck loads of dirt dumped in the hole and compacted, the job was completed in ~9 business days as estimated. They did a good job cleaning up and hauling everything away. ~2 weeks later I passed the city inspection and received the signed permit.
