Gil Levy of Ecommerce partners built us a website and intentionally did not send us the files of the website. Then charged us $320 per quarter for several years for hosting when you can get it at GoDaddy for about $15 per quarter. Then, when we complained that they were charging us too much for hosting, they "lost" our database. His colleague, Jakob Schwerdt, stood by while this was happening and did not help at all. These people are criminals. Do not do business with them. read more

My partner and I worked with ECommerce Partners for the development of our website. Neither of us is particularly tech savvy, but we had a good idea of what we hoped to achieve. Anyone who's been down the development road knows what a nightmare it is trying to find the right partner. From the get go, we felt like we were in good hands with these guys. Asi was really, really patient and worked closely with us to understand what our business model was, who we were looking to reach, and really helped us focus on what we wanted to achieve from the site. We came with a long list of questions and requirements, but they helped us scale things down to what would be most necessary --- even dissuading us from getting too complicated with things and potentially overspending for things we wouldn't really need. One of the hardest parts of our site is the personalization of product, but the guys at ECommerce really broke things down so that the end result is clear and easy for consumers, which is just what we were hoping for. Customer Satisfaction is our most important motivation My name is Jakob, the CEO of ECommerce Partners. We are amazed regarding the vicious attack by Paper Presentation. The satisfaction of all our customers is of utmost importance to us. Facts for the record True, we have been contracted by Paper Presentation to develop a new site, which we did and got paid for. The original project followed the standard development process and approval procedures, starting with design on which we do have a sign off by the client. The site was implemented on time, presented to the customer and accepted. The bone of contention Subsequently we offered as a second phase a migration of existing data to the new site. The response to this offer was delayed several months. When we finally received the heads up for this new phase it turned out that responsibilities for this project had changed and we were dealing now with the CEO directly, instead of the consultant who had supervised the project up to this stage. As a result we were faced with a set of completely new requirements, which have never been discussed before and went far beyond the scope of the project. Once we explained that certain things we will provide as courtesy, but some of the changes will translate into additional cost, the new person in charge became very agitated and hostile. Our offer Since that incident we have offered time and again to resolve the open issues amicable and to the full satisfaction of the client. We, at ECommerce Partners enjoy a great reputation, which is the basis for our continuous success. We do have an impressive reference list of many satisfied clients, whose online business we transformed into extremely successful ventures. Our reputation is our most important asset. That is why we offered Paper Presentation to go far beyond the call of duty and our contractual obligations to satisfy their requests. But, as a business there is a limit to what we can do for free. We do not understand why this should be met by such unfounded hostility.
