I'm a fan. I understand they are under new management. I took my 1996 Camaro here to get painted, and I am really happy with how it turned out. You do get what you pay for, but honestly my car looks brand new. There is one little thing that needs touching up, but they said they'd be happy to do that for me. I got the 425 deal, which is a little bit of a step up from the basic. I had an autobody shop tell me to check these guys out, because he said he couldn't pain my car for less than 3K. The car isn't worth that much, it's just special to me, and now it's even more special. I think it took about a week to get everything done. I plan on taking another car here, in the near future.

Right side passages door has dents that were not there before which needs to be sanded down and repainted

Management at ECONO Painting and Body Works, I have just got my 2005 Ford Sports Trac painted here at the ECONO shop on Decker Blvd. The paint job was phenomenal but there was some minor scratches that needed to be corrected from the paint job I received on my truck. The real issue I see about this business is the customer service. After dropping my truck off to get these minor deficiencies taken care of, I was given 2 hard times to come get my truck when these deficiencies were supposed to have been taken care of but it was not completed on the hard times that were given to me. The 1st time which was 2:00 pm on Friday (January 21st) my truck was supposed to have been ready. That time was given to me by Justin. The 2nd hard time was given to me by Tory which was the next day which was Saturday between 8:00 am and 1200pm. I have to say that I was still sitting nevertheless, waiting patiently in the lobby area for my truck after the agreed time was given to me. I didn't receive any updates on the status of my vehicle while I was waiting past the store closing hour of 1200 pm on Saturday (January 22nd. I was briefly asked what was the issues with my truck from Tory on that Saturday afternoon as if no notes were taken about the deficiencies on my truck. It was a quarter to 1:00 and no one has even came to give me an update on my vehicle yet. I've been sitting there since 11:30 am. This portion of the business needs drastic improvement. I never received any phone calls throughout this whole process to let me know if my vehicle was ready or not to keep me in the loop. I believe if this establishment (business) treats everyone's vehicle as if it was their only car or their own car, things would be professional at all times. It's 1:00 pm and I just got my truck keys from Tory. I didn't get a walk around with my vehicle to ensure everything was good to go with the touch up before I left nor did I see the person who started off my business with ECONO Auto Painting and Body Works, which was Justin. Management, I'm looking at the areas that was supposed to be fixed and this work is not only a rush job, but substandard. I want these areas fixed as soon as possible with your visibility on it, Sir. I will supply you with the work order number which is WO-685158. I am not a customer that settles with substandard work by saying negative things about a business or person and just leave unsatisfied. I feel like I was patient enough throughout this whole process to receive good quality work and I'm going to put my faith in this business correcting these deficiencies. It doesn't matter if you have the cheapest paint jobs in town or the most expensive. If your customer service is phenomenal, this business will grow by leaps and bounds. Here are the changes I would like to experience as a paid customer with a 3 year warranty. The person who I negotiated with in the beginning is the person who I would like to finish up with. There is no need to be explaining your issues or problems over again to someone else when it was done already with the first person you encountered. Number 2, Get updates on my vehicle before the hard time the establishment has given me for my vehicle to be completed. Whether the job was completed or not, it's understandable that things happen but you should uphold your word when you give out a hard time for something to be completed. I have other engagements I need to attend which means I need my vehicle on the day and time we agreed upon. Number 3, Last but not least, the customer should have the opportunity to inspect their vehicle with the presence of one of the employees there before the vehicle leaves the premises. I can tell my vehicle was outside all night instead of being worked on inside the bay because my whole truck had snow all over it. Only 2 of the 5 areas have been attempted to be fixed so I'll be waiting patiently on your call so we can arrange another day to get this resolved. Mr. Evans (January 25, 2022)

    Miata

Brought in my 1993 Mazda Miata to be painted in the OEM Red. Turn around time was only 5 days and that's right around new years. Overall a great paint job, Tim at the front was very helpful, patient as well. Had a slight mechanical malfunction upon leaving (which is my own doing) and they helped me sort it out. For what you pay it is most definitely worth it, if you expect extra then definitely ask. And they will see to it that it gets done. Tldr; Worth the money, ask if you expect extra things. Don't worry about the small things, it's a $500 paint job.

You get a year warranty but I can't give them 5 stars because they don't explain pricing and details of paint and finishes and their communication could improve.

I am also attaching the correspondence with SilverRock noting that the claim was approved on 5/12, the day after submitted, which contradicts the company's response as well. At the end of the day my biggest issues were with the lack of honesty and transparency, so I feel it's only appropriate to add this to my review. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gerber based on my experience. The staff was always courteous, but the overall process was disappointing. My vehicle was dropped off on May 7 with an estimated repair time of about two weeks, and I was told May 28 would be the absolute latest completion date. Instead, my vehicle remained disassembled for weeks, multiple promised completion dates were missed, and I ultimately didn't get it back until June 15. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. I frequently had to reach out myself for updates, and we were given conflicting information about the repair timeline. We also experienced repeated issues with the rental authorization, resulting in multiple calls from Enterprise while we were on our family's vacation because the authorization had not been submitted correctly. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the repair was not actually complete. The newly repaired bumper was not sitting flush and could be pushed in and out, requiring me to return the vehicle for additional repairs. I also found new scratches around the replaced "Elevation" emblem on the rear hatch that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, adhesive residue left behind from the repair, and the driver's area was returned covered in dust and debris from the repair process. I appreciate that the staff remained polite and ultimately addressed the bumper issue, but what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a month of delays, repeated follow-up on my part, and a second repair visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, quality control, and attention to detail for future customers.

I have to say they kept me and my daughter updated every step of the way, even when they found additional damage. The car was done in a week and 1/2 ( we did wait 4 months for appt) and they were the most professional group ever! Being 700 miles away and having a daughter under 25 (rental purposes) they were just amazing. I hope this never happens to anyones car, but if it does Reeley's is the way to go! They ordered most parts ahead of time and had everything ready (except extra damage) and were just amazing. The car came back detailed and they were fantastic. Being an out of state parent with an under 25 child is tough so I want my ticket punched for Reeley's!!! Thanks for everything!!!!

There were no hiccups and no hidden cost. I recommend them and will be back again when I need work done.

I was hesitant to leave it 75 miles from my home town and had thoughts over the weekend to have it towed locally for repair. Not familiar with Columbia I Googled and Yelped Carolina Paint and Body for reviews and saw they had several mostly good or excellent and that made me feel better about having them do the repairs. I called and talked to Roger and he said they would get me an estimate done and get back with me. I think they called the next day and they explained the process and all the parts needed and gave me an estimated date for completion. Roger was in constant contact with me usually calling every Monday and Friday with an update. They were finished the repairs earlier than estimated but ran into a problem that required the Ford dealership's computer. That dealership's process took a few more days but was needed to complete the repairs. Roger worked with my insurance company and handle all the paperwork I only had to pay my deductible when picking up the car. All said and done, the repairs turned out flawless and I'm 100% satisfied with all the workmanship, parts and communication and would certainly would recommend Carolina Paint and Body to anyone looking for professional collision repair.
