The folks at Baker are great! I can't speak for the repair service because my car was totaled. I spent several hours in the lobby waiting on my wife to pick me up and my belongings after the accident. Every one I met was genuinely concerned about me and were very accommodating. They even kept the doors open late on a Friday until my wife could get there from Charlotte. I had multiple phone calls afterwards due to my insurance company leaving the car there for over six weeks. Every time I spoke with them the were very helpful and informative. Edit: 7/1/26 Updating my review to note that I have not been contacted by Geber as noted in the response, but at this point there's nothing more that can be done. I am also attaching the correspondence with SilverRock noting that the claim was approved on 5/12, the day after submitted, which contradicts the company's response as well. At the end of the day my biggest issues were with the lack of honesty and transparency, so I feel it's only appropriate to add this to my review. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gerber based on my experience. The staff was always courteous, but the overall process was disappointing. My vehicle was dropped off on May 7 with an estimated repair time of about two weeks, and I was told May 28 would be the absolute latest completion date. Instead, my vehicle remained disassembled for weeks, multiple promised completion dates were missed, and I ultimately didn't get it back until June 15. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. I frequently had to reach out myself for updates, and we were given conflicting information about the repair timeline. We also experienced repeated issues with the rental authorization, resulting in multiple calls from Enterprise while we were on our family's vacation because the authorization had not been submitted correctly. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the repair was not actually complete. The newly repaired bumper was not sitting flush and could be pushed in and out, requiring me to return the vehicle for additional repairs. I also found new scratches around the replaced "Elevation" emblem on the rear hatch that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, adhesive residue left behind from the repair, and the driver's area was returned covered in dust and debris from the repair process. I appreciate that the staff remained polite and ultimately addressed the bumper issue, but what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a month of delays, repeated follow-up on my part, and a second repair visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, quality control, and attention to detail for future customers. read more

Amazing service! Very happy with my car absolutely astounding.How they got the dents out.

This is a terrible horrible business. First, we went there and the girl looking over our vehicle made comments to let us know she was bored with it all. She misunderstood something I said, and then she took an hour to look over the vehicle and do the paperwork. Afterward, they made an appointment for a drop off at 3:15 p.m. The insurance pays for the rental until the work is completed. They sent me text messages that it would be ready October 4, 2024, and then updated to September 27, 2024. He gives me a call an hour and a half out when the car is still on the assembly line being worked on that it would not be ready until close of business at 5:00 p.m. They close at 5:30 p.m. My husband has the rental, and I do not have another car to pick it up. If he comes after work and when he finishes all he has to do, it would be 5:30 if we are lucky. Dominick says to call the insurance company and tell them we cannot pick it up. He says he has nothing to do with the rental car place charging for the next day. He claims if we drop it off to him, he would cut off the charges. But what about vandalism over the weekend? The rental car place told me that they do not pick up this late in the day. It's just an awful way to do business. Last minute notice and getting it ready at close of business when people have their own schedules and work. read more

Let me just say- these folks are amazing. My car got hit by a rather large rock on the freeway. Caused damage to my windshield, hood, top of my car..... little chips everywhere from the rock breaking..... I was not a happy camper. Called them Monday, they got me in the next day and car my car done SIX days ahead of schedule. They kept me informed the whole time via texts and phone calls. Second time working with Baker, glad I came back. The staff is attentive to detail and thorough. They always go above and beyond with repairs. Gave me a 5 day estimate, finished two days early. Worked closely with the insurance company to assure I did not pay too much out of pocket. Even cleaned the inside of my car before pickup. They might cost more than some other places, but it is worth the return in service and quality with Baker. read more

Yelp needs to update its records as this entity is showing--and getting the credit for--5-star reviews from its FORMER owner, Baker Automotive. Baker was a great, family-owned, local company. Gerber is a national company. Gerber Riverchase scheduled a repair date and then very rudely dishonored it on the day they said it would be done--seemingly too busy putting up Christmas decorations in the waiting area than dealing with customers and repairs. NO customers were in the waiting area when I received my quote, and NO customers in the waiting area when I brought my car in on the agreed repair date. After saying they would not fix my car on the scheduled date, and I was prepared to wait all day, they astonishingly and very rudely said I could not bring the car in later in the week to get repaired, even though they had the parts!! I have notified my insurance company and my local agent of this incident. Be aware--these are NOT the Baker Automotive folks!! read more

I have a ton of social anxiety, and I had to go here to get a dent removed without paint damage. The man I talked to got in contact with a friend who worked through his garage and had it done for me at a very affordable $350! The whole process was quick and easy. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or milked for all of my money, and I honestly feel like I was being helped to save money. read more

These people work quick and make sure your vehicle is repaired to your satisfaction. My insurance is State Farm and they have a very good relationship. I've been there once and noticed that one of the new small windows they replaced was scratched and there were some blemishes in the paint job. They made sure to fix those free of charge and in a very fast manner. I was so happy with the work they did on my vehicle. Unfortunately I needed to get more work done on my vehicle after a hit and run and as bummed as I was about the damage, I was happy that I knew of a great body shop that would take care of my vehicle and a professional and quick manner. They are soon moving to a new location which will be easier to access. read more

Maybe my expectations was to high but I'm really frustrated and disappointed with the customer services of Lexington Baker Collision. The car is perfect now, but the stress to get it ready in a reasonable time was to high. No answering to calls, no call back after my messages, texting service did no work. I can't imagine how long they would take to fix my car without some pressure. It took 16 days for a few scratches , a wheel and a tire to be replaced. read more

Baker Collision is the place to go if you have any body damage. I've used other places in the area and will never use anyone besides Baker in the future. They've always scheduled me quickly and performed the repairs fast. The work is good and they've gone beyond my expectations. They always return a cleaned car and take the extra step to buff out other dings and scratches. Although it is never fun having to get body work done, they do it as painlessly as possible. read more
