The breakfast looked very good! Husband said the food was the best he has tasted from a hotel free breakfast, I had oatmeal which was good. The t.v. Our stay at this place was a total disappointment. First I booked on Priceline which was easy, however our room looked nothing like what we had booked. Our room was super outdated, the walls had spill drips everywhere, mold in the shower area on the walls. Stains on the black carpet. The room of which I thought I booked was updated nice wood floors, nice updated bathroom, not what we walked into. My husband and I were waking up with new bug bites every morning but we were thinking it was chigger bites because we were outside a lot. After research it looked like they could have been bed bug bites but we couldn't find any. We were so confused. So we had our bedding changed just in case on 6/14/26. Which we asked for our room to be cleaned that day and it wasn't, when we got back at 3:30pm, I had to call down and try to get my room cleaned. Anyways, the morning of, the 15th, we got up and we found a bug on the bed and we used google lens and ChatGPT of both which said it was a bed bug. I then looked up a bunch of pictures of bed bugs and sure enough, that's what it was. My husband called down to the front desk right away and the lady came upstairs, saw it for herself, grabbed the bug after taking a picture and threw it away. She said it was disgusting and apologized and said someone would call me as we were getting ready to head out and nobody from management or owner was going to be in until 10:30 or later. A manger called me at 12pm and said all they could do was refund the early check in fee of $35 and that they checked the room there was nothing there and the picture that was taken was blurry so they couldn't tell exactly what it was. My husband has over 40 bed bug bites on him, I have a handful and thankfully my baby was sleeping in a bassinet set up and hoping she doesn't get any on the way home. They made it seem like we bottled one up and put it there on purpose over the phone. This isn't just a small inconvenience this is itchiness and pain for 1-3 weeks and we have to figure out how to clean EVERYTHING and not drag them into my house and all they did was refund us an early check in fee!?! The lady I talked to said they were going to call back and I never received a call. I waited exactly a whole week later and called back asking for a GM or owner as they promised one would call me back. The owner was there and said there are no bugs, they take it seriously and can assure me someone did call me even though I have no voicemail or missed call from them. As I was explaining things and making it known I was unhappy, I was being talked over and it was end of there day and instead of looking into some kind of compensation or solution now, they are dragging it out another day and are suppose to call me back. They did call me back and again they don't have bugs it could have gotten there many ways and not doing anything other than the early check in fee and corporate said they can't do anything either. Unacceptable and do not stay here. Spend your money else where on a place that is clean, doesn't false advertise and somewhere that will take care of you if something were to happen.

Let me start off with they truly tried to fix the problem. There was no one at the front desk…read moreinitially, when the lady got there she was very kind. Once I got my key card I went to check the room. Walked in and started to check the beds they were clean but had cigarette burns on one of them. The beds are rock hard. After looking at the beds I walk into the bathroom and there was pubic hair in the bathtub and the walls are stained. Paints chipped throughout the place. I go to walk out of the bathroom and there in BLOOD in the bathroom door frame. Yikes! Then I check the drawers and found mice poop. I did go to the front desk where she offered to clean it for me or give me another room. When I was shown the other room the head board on one of the beds specifically the one closest to the window had handprints from the previous guests and their "nighttime wrestling". There was no way my kids were gonna sleep in that bed. I checked the bathroom there too and hair was also found in the bathtub. I told the lady I was going to check and see what my husband wanted to do and when I walked back in the room we were originally in was clean and we didn't want to throw money down the drain so we stayed in the original room. As I stayed through the night I noticed their decorations specifically curtain rod cover was just plywood with paint thrown over it. I also pulled a tan blanket that was above the ironing board and an eyebrow razor fell out from in between it. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and have never seen anything quite like this. The only plus is the super adorable fluffy cat that sits outside. When you spend money on something you want it to be nice.

The employee that checked me in was friendly and cared about my privacy; she didn't say my room number and pointed at my room number and said, "your room is on this floor." Information about breakfast and pool hours were provided. I was offered a 15% off coupon for the BBQ joint across the street, which I politely declined. She then said it was "really good" BBQ. (I disagree; while I have not been to that location, I've never been impressed with the chain.) Before leaving to the room, the employee extended an offer to provide any assistance I may need. I was in room 305 which was near the end of the hall. The room had 2 beds and a separate sitting area. There was only one TV in the room which was in the bedroom area. The bed was a bit hard and bouncy. Plenty of pillows were provided. Upon initial inspection, the room was clean. There wasn't much dust in the usual hiding spaces, but a large amount of dust had accumulated around the tub and tile floor, especially in the corners by the wall. I think a good moping would be sufficient to clean up the dirt. There is a gas station across the street which provides cheaper drinks and snacks than those sold in the vending machine at the hotel. The location of the hotel is quite nice. It is off a signaled intersection which appeared to be busy the majority of the time. I guess that is to be expected just off the Interstate. The signal definitely makes this hotel an easy on/off type of situation. The sleep quality was great. Walls were thick and I couldn't hear others. The room kept the temperature through the night and the fan had the right level of noise for my taste of "white noise." WiFi is unreliable, slow, and at most times, inaccessible.
