It's too old and basic for the price 106 for a 2 bed smoke free room, if I would have the time or a preview of it before I'll definitely say nay-nay

Ewwww stinky smelly hotel. Don't stay here

Ewwwwww are you for real. The elevator really smelled & it was like a dry sauna inside. I know the room didn't cost much, but it had a nasty odor. After driving 6 hrs I wanted to kick back and relax for a few minutes before heading towards Shawnee National Park, but I felt grimy staying in this dump. We stayed 1 night and moved to a different hotel. The staff was very polite and courteous though & it did have a microwave, refrigerator & freezer

First off. I've stayed a lot of places. This room was $130/night. Ridiculous. Second worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The whole place smells like cigarettes. The smoke detector in our room had a bag over it. They replaced a window in our room prior to our being there. They left all the broken glass on the roof below us. And there were piles of old junk there as well. The tv was, honestly, at least 35 feet from the bed and it was a 32". Didn't even attempt to watch it. There was a couch in our "suite" that hadn't been cleaned under in years I would imagine. You could see the stuff under it from the bed. Speaking of the bed. The one pillow had brown spotted stains all over it and was beige. And, last but not least! I was laying in the bed talking to my wife as she stood at the foot of it. Her eyes got really big and she said "oh my g--! There's a mouse!" It ran behind my head and disappeared into the bed we had just previously slept in. $130/night!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE

Awful!! Our room had a leak in the ceiling. The entire room spelled like puke. The place looks like a meth lab. I'd rather sleep in my car!

The tv was a nice size plus sofabed. I really like the desk and chair area too. There's tons of restaurants nearby. There is a pool, but for some reason, it felt like a sauna in there. It was already hot outside, I didn't want to be in a warm indoor pool. The only reason why I'm giving a rating of 3 stars is because of two complaints. The walls were too damn thin. We could hear the people next to us very clearly! Thankfully there wasn't anything intimate going on, but there was a party happening, and it was just too loud - not the music, it was the voices! We were in room 223, so thankfully we were near to the elevators. We didn't even hear when people were out by the elevators, but I could clearly hear the guests next to us. Secondly, the bathroom includes bath/shower products plus hand soap and lotion, which is a plus, because that's provided less thing to pack. However, the toilet was too low! My 70-year old mother and I are both 5'4. She recently had knee and hip surgery, so she decided to squat over the toilet. I sat but hurt my knees using the toilet. Thankfully, my husband didn't come. He's 6'4, he would have had a very hard time. They need to install bars next to the toilet. Also the tub floor was slippery - again, mother with recent hip and knee surgery... that was not good!

We had prrof of only one night being booked. Friday our card was charged. Saturday morning on our way there, we had two more charges pending. We got there Saturday after our softball tournament and they had sold our room out from under us. Only room they had for us was a King bed, with pullout couch, that they had marked as ubsellable because the TV wasn't working. After over 30 minutes, they said they would comp our room and we would have no charges. Fast forward to today (Tuesday after our stay), one charge has cleared(we paid) and two are still pending. Speaking to the manager was a shitshow, stating we had agreed to be charged for the night we weren't there? Why would we do that?! She then only wanted to give us a partial refund. After saying we were just going to call corporate, she changed her tune. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was decent. Customer service out weighs it all though. And we have been left disappointed.

If you would like to turn back time and have a realistic experience what it was like to stay at a…read morehotel in the late 90's / early 2000's, then this is your jam. For those of us who already lived through it, there is a reason this property has 2.5 stars on Expedia. Let me start by saying the staff are absolutely wonderful! No qualms there whatsoever. Super nice with down-to-earth hospitality. Literally couldn't ask for nicer people. As for the environment, if you're sensitive to odors, then this place is not for you. When you enter the hotel, the overwhelming smell of perfume hits you. It's as if someone used a whole bottle of Febreeze followed by an entire bottle of your grandma's favorite Body Fantasy spray and sprayed it directly into your face. Check-in was a breeze, and instructions to find my room were easy to follow. After you check in and begin walking to your room, the odors at the front desk dissipate only to be replaced with the strong smell of weak weed. As if people have been puff-passing in the hallway every day for decades. This isn't a deal breaker for most people, but this is a hotel. The way the damp smell seems to cling to the carpet and walls is depressing. When you reach your room, you open the door, and immediately start coughing. Smoking indoors in public and private businesses was made illegal sometime around 2006. This room smells like mildew and cigarette ash have always existed here. As if people still smoke in here. The room looks as if it was carefully thrown together. Like good, clutter free, clean, and the AC unit was already humming. The beds themselves are not restful in the least. I appreciate a good, firm mattress, but these mattresses are like rocks. I slept seven hours straight, but woke up incredibly sore and feeling more tired than when I fell asleep! Lastly, there is a bathroom. I generally have no qualms about the bathroom. The tub is fat kid friendly (250+ club here.) The bathroom is clean and odor free. The water is nice and hot. There are VERY basic amenities. There are small signs of wear and tear on the bathtub seam and the back of the toilet which need some attention, but nothing serious. Being able to convalesce my sore muscles in the tub has been lovely. The heat lampnis the ceiling and hair dryer on the wall take me back in the best way. There's no fan, though, which helps explain the mildew smell. Breakfast is from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. If there is anything other than your standard, run-of-the-mill continental breakfast here, then I will update this post. Edit to add: I did not expect a full, hot breakfast! It's pretty decent, and it looks like it's prepared with a lot of care. Thank you! I'm adding a star. A second perk of this hotel is that it is walking distance to The Hideout, which overall is a great place to eat. I do love the plants placed throughout the hotel. Implementing a lot more of these live plants will help clean the air. For any managers who read these posts, here are my recommendations on how to improve. 1. Remove as many fabrics as you can immediately and replace them with objects that do not absorb odors. For example, remove all of the carpet and install vinyl laminate planks or some similar hard flooring, like tile. Replace any curtains. They're genuinely ruined. 2. Repaint all the walls to help get rid of the smell. 3. Add mattress covers and mattress protectors to all of your mattresses. Replace the bedding or find a way to clean the smell out of it without using perfumes. I have had a lot of success using All free and clear with Lysol Laundry sanitizer. 4. Institute and STRONGLY enforce rules such as no smoking and no more than two adults under the age of 25. This will prevent the parties, decrease insurance costs, and decrease the damage. 5. Give your people a raise. I don't know what they make, but I know it isn't enough to compensate for rude customers and working indoors in smokey halls all day.

When I checked in, they gave me the key to my 2nd floor room and told me how to get to the stairs. So, I asked, "Where's the elevator?" To my surprise, they told me where to find it. 1st room...237 Nice king bed. I tipped the sofa over while trying to pull out the sofa bed! Sofa bed had black spots and had several tears. Lamp shades were stained and torn. Microwave was dirty. I didn't bother going in the bathroom. I complained and was switched to another room. 2nd room...213 Nice king bed. Bathroom was okay. Do not stay here! This place was disgusting. The outside of the building looked fine, and the lobby…read morealso looked fine, but do not be deceived. The route to our room was difficult because we had to go down a long hallway then through an exit door then up another back stairway. But, we only knew this because we ran into a woman who gave us the directions and in this conversation, let us know that she not only lived in this facility, but she also worked here and she knew how difficult it was to manage these hallways and stairways. The outside exit door was being propped open by a combination garbage can/ashtray that were both brimming over with garbage and cigarette butts. Not only was this gross, the open door is also a security risk, as this exit door was around the back of the building. I removed this receptacle and closed the door. As we approached our room, #262, the hallway was clearly not clean and very cold from the outside air coming in. When we finally reached our room and opened the door, the smell of old, dirty carpet was what immediately greeted us. The rest of the room appeared to be clean, the bed was nicely made, and there was a Jacuzzi bathtub in the good size bathroom. The bathroom looked clean so we took advantage of the Jacuzzi tub and had a good night sleep. We did notice, however that there were two cigarette burn marks in the comforter that was on the bed, neither of us smoke and this was a non-smoking room. The shower in the morning was good, with good water pressure, though the plastic holder that holds the shampoo and the conditioner on the wall was broken and not replaced. The shampoo had been replaced, but was sitting on the bathtub unopened. That was fine, but it does speak to the fact that there is no attention to detail when this room was being cleaned. The room air conditioner seemed to be locked in on one setting, it did cool the room, but if another customer would want to change the settings that would not have been possible. Now, let's go down to breakfast. On our trek to the breakfast area, through the long hallway on the first floor, we became very aware of an unpleasant smell, which we soon realized was coming from many of the rooms occupied by long-term people living there. This was evidenced by a welcome mat in front of one door, and decorations on other doors. There was a dead plant in one of the hallways, an E bike parked in another hallway, and in one of the hallways there was some kind of electrical device being charged. It was very clear that this 'extended stay' hotel was not just extended stay for travelers, but living quarters for people. These hallways were filthy, as in they had not been vacuumed, but they were also very old and had that old dirty, nasty carpet smell as well. When we reached the actual breakfast area, there were a group of people who clearly knew each other gathered around the various food trays, some still in pajamas looking as if they had just rolled out of bed, chatting with each other and piling heaps of food onto plates, heading back to their rooms with no realization that travelers were there trying to get breakfast as well. One of the women actually pushed me out of the way so that she could get to the tray with hot sausages, stating that she prefers the biscuits and gravy that they usually have, but the sausages will have to do for today. The juice machine was totally out of order. The bread case had two crusts of bread and a few bagels, but we were not going to eat any of that as it did not look clean. We did put four sausage patties on a plate as they were hot and fresh, and we did take a couple small containers of Jif peanut butter back to the room with us, choosing not to eat in the 'dining area' as it was filthy. So, trying not to be judgmental here, but it seems as though some of the people who live here also work here. Clearly, the woman that we met in the stairwell lives here and works here as she told us, but also another woman that we saw in the breakfast area had a set of keys and a badge, speaking to one of the other women, neither one of these women were wearing a uniform indicating that they were employees of the establishment. Upon check out, when I spoke with the morning clerk, she seemed to think that everything was fine, and would I tell her about our experience. I did request a business card for this establishment, but they do not have them. I also asked for the name and contact information for the owner, but she said that she did not know who that was. I chose not to take the time to discuss our dissatisfaction with her. We chose this hotel because the night before we had stayed in another Quality Inn and Suites in Tulsa, Oklahoma and it was wonderful. Quite the opposite of our experience here. Enough said, take our advice, and don't stay here.

I checked into this hotel only because every surrounding property was booked, and it was one of the…read moreworst experiences I've ever had. We paid $120 per night, and the room was filthy from the moment we walked in. The blanket and sheets had multiple stains -- both known and unknown --, and we had to request clean linen immediately. The shower head was improperly installed, spraying water everywhere, including onto the floor and my hair. Later, we discovered a hole in the tub because it had leaked into the wall, soaking my husband's bag and clothes. Maintenance came to vacuum up the water, but afterward, the smell of mold began to fill the room. We had an event the next morning and didn't have time to move hotels. The front desk clerk promised to adjust the price and give us the next night for $60. I agreed only because of the time crunch -- and that turned out to be a mistake. Not only did the issues continue, but the price was never adjusted, and I was charged full price. To make matters worse, that night a roach crawled toward my plate while we were eating. I haven't seen a roach in years, and I never expected to see one in a hotel room. I was told the manager would call me, and I'm still waiting. I will never stay at this hotel again. The conditions were unacceptable, unsafe, and unsanitary. I would not give 1 star, but you have to give at least 1to write a review.
