The gym is separated into cardio and weightlifting equipment which is a little inconvenient, especially as only one room had a water cooler, but it has standard equipment. The lobby is spacious if you want to hang out a bit. The price wasn't too bad for a big, comfortable room and only a few train station stops into town. It's a decent option if you want to visit. What made the stay was the staff. From the hotel clerks, to the kitchen ladies, to housekeeping and maintenance; everyone I met was kind, accommodating and so friendly. The staff was accommodating. And for where we were going to go, we didn't need to Uber if we didn't want to as everything was within 10 minutes walking mostly. Mostly. The elevators were pretty responsive. Although you do have to go up to the second floor for the reception desk. They do have a bar on the same floor but it doesn't open until 5 pm on most days and usually closes by 11 pm. They do have a kitchen to order food from there or for room service but it is limited hours wise. They offer a complimentary breakfast that was located in one of the conference rooms since the main room that usually serves it was under renovation. The fitness center is also on the second floor. They do have a pool onsite but weather wise, it was still winter/smarch weather. The room was solid. It had decent closet space and enough drawers if you were staying a few days tops. They had a fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave. There was a partition with the TV that rotated from the small ottoman love seat and the king-sized bed. The tv had standard cable channels but without the ability to watch any streaming like Netflix. The bathroom was spacious with a decent enough sized sink. The shower pressure was solid and allowed me to wash my body without a temperature change or going into shock, which was nice. I would stay here again if I am seeing another show at the Anthem. It's close to a lot of restaurants, and allows you to live your best life.

Upon arrival, the staff seemed slightly flustered. It was about 11 am. We knew we would be too early for check in but after valeting our vehicle, we wanted to check our bags until our room was ready. Behind the desk and around the lobby was packed with bags. They didn't have anywhere secure to store them. Although I felt uneasy about it, our bags were stored in the main lobby where anyone could have taken them without supervision. Fortunately, our room was ready around 3 and our bags were undisturbed. It almost seemed like they were going to turn us away from checking bags because they had nowhere to store them. The gentleman, Donathan, who checked us in thanked us for our patience and was super friendly. He ensured we received our free waters and gave us directions to the elevators. He was great! The location of the hotel could not be better. Right on the water and walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars. They have a hotel bar that we plan on trying in a bit. Valet parking is 65 a night which is super expensive but there is no way around it. Valet has in and out privileges where daily parking is 3 dollars less and has no in and out privileges.

That right there demonstrates professionalism and true character for excellent customer service. I was taken to the Hilton Timeshare center where I was also greeted. Freddy was our time share sales person. Freddy was very professional where he did not use tactics to keep you and pressure you to purchase anything. He kept it real. Overall the hotel was nice and I had the best experience ever attending a timeshare sales presentation! No pressure and straight to the point! I stated I already had a timeshare and I did not need another one. He acknowledged and understood that it was out of my budget. He then lead us out of our way to accept some gift rebates. Kudos to Freddy for being real and understanding. Mark the presentation host was the best I have ever seen from the many years I have experienced. He was direct and professional not to mention funny. The daily parking fee was $45 but there was a misunderstanding if anyone dines in the restaurant, they would waive the parking fee. I got to then know after asking multiple staff that it's not for overnight parking. It was a little disappointing that we paid for 2 nights and a restaurant bill of $100 and the parking fee wasn't waived off or at least discounted for the 2 hours we dined in. It was a bummer but overall very impressed.
