The only good things are the pool and location. It is right beside legoland and has a nice big pool that looks amazing at night because of the lights. The rooms smell like mold. As soon as the afternoon hits the lizards come out. The place is covered in lizzards. The room could use more improvements since its at a nice location near the touristic theme park. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. The hotel was not very clean. The rooms were awful. With the exception of a nice lady behind the front desk on Saturday morning, the rest of the staff were rude. They overcharged our credit card and we are still waiting for a refund. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!! read more

Stay away. The room was gross. The air conditioning vent was caked with dirt and carpet was filthy. I tried to plug in my phone charger and the plug would not stay in any of the outlets. They appeared to be faulty and possible fire hazard. The restaurant appears to be clean, but the food was terrible. read more

We booked two, adjoining, rooms. First, I'll start by saying the room my in laws stayed in was nice and they had no issues. We also really enjoyed the pool, but our room (330) was awful. The lock on the door worked one time. Luckily we had opened the doors between our adjoining rooms or we wouldn't have been able to get in. Then, one of the ceiling tiles above the sink fell out onto the floor and the water smelled like sulfur badly. The hotel did compensate us and we got the one room for free. BE WARNED! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I wouldn't even give this hotel 1 star. If 0 stars were an option, that would be more appropriate. This hotel was DISGUSTING!!!! The bathtub had HAIR (several long strands) from the previous guests. Was it even cleaned between guests!?! The carpet had CHUNKS OF FOOD stuck to it and stains all over the place. It felt so slimy I couldn't even walk barefoot in my room! Not only that but THEY HAD NO WATER! So we couldn't shower, brush our teeth, wash our hands or even FLUSH THE TOILET! The only reason we stayed is because we have a small child and it was late and we needed to get him to bed ASAP. Oh- and the AC WAS BROKEN! WTH!?! We were promised that the broken water pipe would be fixed by the morning but it wasn't. We were kept up till 1am by the lowlife drunks that were hooting and hollering down at the pool. Then we were RUDELY awakened at 7:55am by a man who tried to open our door (not even knocking) to YELL "CLEANING." WHAT CLEANING!?! Filthy and damp. One of my worst hotel experiences since visiting Morocco in the '90s.

Date of Stay - Friday, September 25th. Positives - very nice associate who checked me & my young son in and the location to Legoland is very convenient. Negaitives - the hotel is extremely dated and it's hard to tell what is just worn and dated versus in need of cleaning. Our first room had an inoperable shower, so we switched to a neighboring room. The shower did work in the new room, but not without some muscle to get the knob to turn the water on. The entry light took several minutes to turn on...light on desk was burned out. Sheets had a weird mark/stain on them and the pillows are odd - square feather pillows instead of a regular bed pillow. The hallway had a very odd smell and was extremely dark, probably for a good reason. We didn't even attempt to check out the breakfast as we barely wanted to sleep there, much less eat there. I paid a "last minute" rate of $119 which was way too much for what we got. I have stayed in motels with $60/night rates on road trips which were 10xs nicer. They can get way with higher rates because of limited options so close to Legoland. If you are going to Legoland for more than a day, then do some research and try to find a deal that includes a room at their property. For me, we were driving up just to spend the day with out of state friends (who had a great Legoland 2 day package) and the single night rate at the Legoland hotel was way too high for an up and back visit. Next time I would probably choose to make the 2.5 hour drive back - but since it was storming heavily we opted to stay and drive home in the morning. Otherwise, for my situation (up one day and back the next morning) I would look for a better hotel/motel option along the route home. read more

My husband and I went to the Bok Tower March 28th with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed it! Then we went to our motel and things went downhill fast! Our first room reeked of smoke so bad when we opened the door that we couldn't go into it. My husband went down to the front desk to change rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the motel is the worst we have ever stayed in. The room we were transfered to was in need of major repairs! The toilet paper holder was broken, the desk lamp was missing the knob to turn it on. The floor lamp didn't work at all! The TV was so old and too fuzzy to watch! We could not get any channel to come in clearly. But the best was when we came back to our room after walking around to check out the beautiful lounge we saw in all the pictures (more on that later) the sliding mirrored closet door had fallen off blocking entrance to the bathroom! My husband just leaned it up against the wall out if the way. Our plans of having drinks at the lounge that night were dashed when we saw that the lounge was closed and looked like it had been that way for quite some time. One of the rails on the second floor was so loose, if anyone leaned on it they would fall off the balcony. The awnings in the pool area were shredded. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this place! read more

This is, by far, the worst hotel I have stayed at! Carpet's dirty, TV's outdated, area behind the bed and headboard's dusty and dirty, roaches were all over the bathroom door, etc. False advertisement of having a gym and working hot tubs. Pool's huge, but lacked of cleaning. read more

We booked a room the day before our visit. Requested a room with two beds and were told none were available. We arrived around 9PM the next night. The check in was average but the lobby was very warm. The girl at the desk advised that it is this way every night. When we arrived at our 3rd floor room there was only electricity for half the room. The a/c was not running and the bathroom was dark. I left my wife in the room with the door open (for air) and went back to the front desk. The clerk did not appear concerned or surprised. She gave us a different room. When I went back to the room there was a male in the hallway screaming obscenities and wanting to fight someone in another room. We went to our new room which (surprise) had the two beds we were told were not available. The room was average but needed to be updated. The matress were very hard and the toilet paper was almost gone. There was not another roll in the room. The a/c unit was loud. The security chain on the door was broken. The fridge did work well and water pressure was just ok. The towel rack is in the shower. For the price I would not book there again. We did pass several other hotels in the immediate area . read more

After months of researching and price comparing, I finally settled on the LegoLand Vacation Package (2 days/2 nights) through Magnuson Grand Conference Center for our family Christmas trip. I was leery about staying there, based on the reviews, but some were promising, due to ongoing renovations, and we were only going to be sleeping there. I called and made our reservation, specifically asking for a remodeled room. After I hung up, I realized that the lady I had spoken with never gave me a confirmation # or asked for my email to send me confirmation. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told that our tickets weren't ready and that the Manager on Call that night would be getting our tickets and we could pick them up in the morning. Before the woman finished our check in, I reminded her that we had asked for a newly updated room and asked if the one she was planning on giving us was renovated. She assured me that it was. I'm not sure what the hotel 'renovated', but our room was disgusting. Possibly renovations were covering holes in the ceiling? The room smelled like smoke, and I didn't even dare look into the shower. Our sheets even had mildew stains on them and we had to strip the bed and use only the blanket. We sucked it up knowing we would only be using the room for sleeping and would talk to the manager in the morning about a different room. Breakfast was included with our stay, so we found the dining room and wondered if we were mistaken. The lights were off and I didn't see any food. A lady appeared and I asked about breakfast. She pointed to a corner of the room, dimly lit, where I found a very skimpy array of breakfast food. While eating, my daughter needed to use the bathroom, which was located right outside the dining area. It was not clean nor had it been stocked (no toilet paper or paper towels) and the toilets were dirty. After eating, we headed down to the lobby to pick up our tickets from the manager. I told the man at the front desk that we needed our tickets ( it was a little before 9 and Legoland opened at 10). He said that he didn't have our tickets because their E-Vendor hadn't sent them and he couldn't get ahold of them. I asked him what we were supposed to do since we had already booked the weekend for the Legoland Package for our Children's Christmas present. He said there was nothing he could do, and that the lady working the night before told him we were going to find tickets elsewhere. That was news to me. I asked him where we were supposed to get 2 day passes to Legoland comparable to the rates their 'Legoland Package' offered. He didn't know, nor was he apologetic, only saying he would cancel our room for the night and refund our room the night before. I finally found some cheap tickets through Costco, but they were only for one day passes. And we had to wait for almost 3 hours for Costco to process the tickets and email them to us because it was the weekend. Note also - there is no access to Legoland from the hotel as some have claimed, so we still had to pay for parking. I am absolutely disgusted with the hotel and their staff. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in a stay at a hotel. The hotel is currently under renovations and it has so much potential however, the renovations did not get in the way it's the overall service and upkeep of the hotel that was horrible. The hallway leading to my room had visibly soiled carpet stains all over which made the hallway smell badly. Only one elevator in the building for so many floors that was kept sticky and dirty. The pool was not useable as we could see algae floating in the water and many cracks on the side and bottom of the pool. The tennis court had grass growing in between the cement and lacked keeping. The actual room was dated. The bathroom had an elevated tub and to get in you had to lift your leg high and to get out almost hop out while hanging on to the broken towel bar that obviously has broken due to people hanging on to it to get out of the tub safely. The tub was rusty too and didn't have handicap bars which is an accident waiting to happen. The window pane and glasses in the room were extremely dirty as well. The hotel offers breakfast on the 2nd floor which consisted of prepackaged bagels, some side jelly and butter, some yogurts, coffee and juices. There were also prepackaged cold cereals. No waffles, nor pancakes, no eggs or bacon for the extra charge. The good thing is that there is a Golden Corral across from the hotel and we were able to have breakfast there. This place is a real dump. There main building seems to be for hotel guests while the section that looks like motel 6 appears to be for longtime residents of some sort. Did not feel safe at all. My stay here was horrible when I checked in there was no toilet paper and the bathroom was dirty. Then I called the front desk and they told me to go to the lobby to get my own toilet paper. They have a restaurant right inside the hotel we went for breakfast they gag us the food raw!!!! The second night we came back from legoland and the Ac in the side of the hotel was broken and my children and I spent the whole night without Ac. The only good part was that it was close to legoland. I would never stay there again read more

While the location of this hotel was sufficient (I was in Winter Haven for an event, but not to go to Legoland - which was literally next door) the building and experience was definitely sub-par. I chose this place for the price, and got pretty much what I paid for. Do NOT stay here unless you have no other options! I'm a light sleeper, and that's a problem, because the place has the noisiest A/C of any hotel I've ever stayed in. It uses a huge central A/C duct that runs the length of the building, with the effect that, even when it's "off" in the room, it sounds as if a clothes dryer (or several of them) ran all night in the walls and in the ceiling just behind, and above, the bathroom. Failing to sleep, I walked down the hallway (outside) and following the increasing racket, I came upon the source - a room one flight down that was so loud, it sounded like a tractor trailer or locomotive engine was running inside the room. Clearly, this unit needs to be replaced, and re-located to the roof, certainly not next to rooms! I felt sorry for the people staying closer to that room than I (I was on the other side of the hotel and could hear it clearly) or those staying near the ice machine I walked by in another hallway that sounded like a pick-up truck idling. The noise could be heard even outside the room, in the parking lot. I actually went out an slept in my car around 5 in the morning because the noise was so atrocious. One other issue with noise, some road noise could be heard in the room and I could hear everyone walking down the hall and talking as if they were inside the room. I saw one elevator out of service, and walls and stairs throughout the place were dirty. The overall cleanliness inside the room was somewhat adequate, though everything looked worn. It's clearly not been upgraded in 25 years or so, though the linens were clean. The toilet was apparently made by the same folks who make gas station restrooms, though despite using about 8 gallons of water with each flush, it worked and was clean. The free Wi-Fi connection was EXTREMELY SLOW - between .21 and .29 Mbps, which is barely functional. Which, if you like to surf online, you know to be maddening. I must also mention that the picture on the cable TV was fuzzy. read more

The hotel is disgusting. The bathroom had dirt and stains all over it. The toilet on the sides had stains/urine on it. I could barely brush my teeth in there. The toilet did not have a white tank on it. The back was metal with a lever to flush. It looked like a toilet you would see at a park shelter or the beach. I am still in the room now after midnight writing this and there has been loud bass music and screaming since 7:30. It was coming from their conference room where a party of some sort was going on. My family and I came out here to go to Legoland. We were able to walk to the park and not have to pay for parking so that was nice. After we came back from Legoland today, I took my son to the arcade and almost every machine was out of order. I won't even venture to go have breakfast in the morning after reading the reviews and my experience so far. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are seriously gross and I wish I would of read the reviews before booking. The pictures that others have posted are dead on. read more
