The Adam's Estate offers LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS in the form of on site "cottages" that sleep 2-8 people. You can stay here even if you're not attending a wedding on site. The location is not that far from nearby tourist attractions. This is a great QUIET & SECLUDED place to stay with lots of room and privacy. We stayed in the Majors House which is currently the only cottage on the lakeside. This cottage is 1550+ sq ft with one large bedroom, full bath/shower plus one 1/2 bath, an open living & dinning area, small office, full kitchen, and full size laundry room. Very spacious, cute modern farmhouse style, with dedicated off street parking spaces (x4), long side driveway, great views of the lake and surrounding landscape - gorgeous sunsets! Cottage is located next to the community pool & shuffle board court. Windows are pretty sound proof - couldn't hear guests at the pool. Kitchen has small stock of cooking & eating utensils, a pot and some pans, colander, dinner & salad plates, cereal bowls, mugs and drinking glasses, a few wine glasses. A small stock of disposable plastic cups are provided for use at the pool. A hand mixer and Keurig coffee maker. Dry measure cup set. Dish soap and dishwasher pods. Laundry pods and a few dryer sheets in laundry room. Only 2 dish towels and a roll of paper towels are provided. Tissue holder was empty but we keep some on our car so didn't call for a refill. Bring your own napkins and any extra cooking items you might need beyond what's listed if you plan to cook. We brought extra garbage bags because we had some family over for dinner and used a lot of disposable dishes. We also brought extra paper towels. The stove is electric. Overhead exhaust fan. There is a full size fridge with an ice maker. Oven and microwave. There is a broom and dust pan in the laundry room. Swifter there but no cleaning pads to use it. Bathroom will have a couple small travel toiletries with one small bar of hand soap - so bring your own body wash or bar of soap for the tub and shower if you're staying longer than a day. The claw foot soaking tub is nice. Hair dryer provided. Plenty of towels and wash cloths - 2 dark colored "makeup" cloths. Iron and ironing board, but the ironing board cover doesn't have good padding and it's kind of falling off the ironing board itself. 2 closets. A few hangers in each. Sheets and 2 Pillows for the sofa bed are in a box the closet. Safe also in the closet we just couldn't figure out how to use it. Small sofa, chair and 2 rattan sitting chairs in living area. 1 reading lamp. Plenty of overhead recessed lighting. Dining area has 8 chairs and a nice contemporary chandelier. Two chairs on the front porch. AC cools the place down well. Turn it up to 78° when you check out.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with an over-hard egg, while another guest ordered the same sandwich with an over-easy egg. When our food arrived, the over-easy sandwich was correct, but the sandwich placed in front of me had an over-medium egg with a runny yolk instead of the over-hard egg I specifically requested. I always make a point to clearly ask for a fully cooked egg because I cannot tolerate runny yolks. I politely called our waitress over and explained what had happened. I told her that the sandwich in front of me belonged to the other guest, and that the sandwich they had received appeared to have been intended as mine, except the egg was still runny and wasn't cooked over hard as ordered. Rather than listening to my concern, she responded in a very condescending manner and insisted the order was correct and that we simply needed to switch plates. I explained that switching plates would not solve the actual issue--the egg itself had not been cooked as ordered. She eventually took my sandwich back to have it remade, but after that interaction she rarely checked back on our table for the remainder of the meal and seemed to avoid us entirely. I never raised my voice or made a scene; I simply wanted the food I ordered prepared correctly. Mistakes happen in any restaurant, and I am completely understanding of that. What was most disappointing wasn't the kitchen error, it was the dismissive response to a reasonable request and the lack of service afterward. Since I had spoken so highly of this restaurant beforehand, it was embarrassing to have my guests experience this as their first visit.

Luckily there was a lot of outdoor seating, so it wasn't too difficult to find a seat. I ended up getting the sweet blueberry wine, blueberry flatbread (had caramelized onions, arugula, and prosciutto with a blueberries glaze drizzle), and the blueberry shortcake. The wine was lightly sweet and not dry. The blueberry flatbread tasted more of the caramelized onions and the blueberry drizzle added a little hint of sweetness and tartness. My favorite though was the blueberry shortcake. It was soft and the blueberry compote was absolutely delicious. Although it was rich, it didn't feel heavy. I wish I had gotten another slice. In general, I've been here before and it's nice and cozy inside with great service! I love trying all the flavors available with their wine and beer flights (some are seasonal). Honestly, sometimes I buy their wine by the bottle in stores because it's actually just that good.

Both our server and the bartenders were super engaging and gave great suggestions. As for the food, extremely delicious! The tacos were flavorful, but I wouldn't recommend the corn tortilla because it barely held it shape against the juicy meat. The rice and beans were well seasoned, and the drinks were delicious. Overall, I definitely will be returning to try the happy hour as the bar tends to have options you can't get in the dining room. Eight out of 10 highly recommend!

We didn't have time to try the SpeakTiki. The service was very good with efficient and friendly servers. The drinks, apps, and entrees were mostly accurate and timely. There were a couple reasonable mix ups that were quickly resolved. During the ordering, there were a lot of distractions with the World Cup Soccer game playing. The food was good, but not above average overall. Four of us had the fish tacos and all agree were lacking an acceptable amount of fish. The taste was good, but the cabbage exceeded the amount of fish. The chimichangas had good reviews as well as the quesadillas, but most Mexican restaurants make them just as well. The one outstanding item was the Bandido Taco. Again, definitely not a lot of steak, but the flavor combination was fantastic! A bit pricey at $8 for one taco with no sides. The Winter Garden location isn't an area we would normally travel to, but given the average overall food quality, we will probably stick to closer Mexican restaurants.

From the outside, it looks like a red barn thrift store. But it's actually this cute, charming thrift shop in the front, garden space in the middle section, a store front in the back side and a tea room with inside and outside seating by the pond in the far back. I love the fact that the inside tea room is stocked with different eclectic tea cup sets and that each table is decorated with a matching set for the guests. I like that you are provided a menu of the teas of the day to choose from and there is one from black tea, green tea, herbal tea and a specialty flavor. It gives a nice variety for the table to enjoy. The finger sandwiches/pastries are just the right size and I absolutely love the balsamic dressing that goes with the salad.
