The movers put everything up front in the storage area and piled things 6 feet high up front so you can't even get into the area. I was over charged and Nick in the office fixed that immediately. First, they did arrive early which was fine, however only 2 people showed up when we were told 3 would be there. Ryan (owner) even said during the day that they planned on 3 but he didn't think it was necessary and only brought 2--they ended up being at our house for 7ish hours which threw off our whole day when we were planning for 3 people and for the day to be a lot shorter. We toured the house, they laid down the boxes on our floors, etc. Everything was good. We very clearly stated what was priority for them to load on the truck since we knew not everything was going to fit on the U-Haul we had rented--we just wanted them to get all the heavy things we would not easily be able to lift ourselves later on without their help. We stated these items numerous times then and later on throughout the day when we saw these items were still untouched. They confirmed they would get those items on the truck at some point. Later they stated that they "had" to disassemble my desk, which I stated to them I didn't care about. It was old and honestly I didn't care if it fell apart because I wanted to trash it anyway. They disassembled it, and when I asked, they said there would be no charge. Great, I thought! I had to leave about half-way through the day to leave for the long drive to our new home so that my child could nap in the car. Before I left, I clearly asked Ryan if there would be any additional fees, and he clearly stated no, they would just charge what was quoted. Great, I thought again! Because they had, at that point, already disassembled the desk, used a lot of supplies, and even assisted us with the car trailer. All great stuff. They kept cruising along as I left. When I caught up with my husband later, I found out the unfortunate news that when he did see the truck full, they had still not touched any of the heavy stuff. They left behind nearly every single heavy item we had asked them to pack up. My husband didn't notice or think to keep an eye on them because he was busy with other things around the house and we had already asked them numerous times to take care of them. It was quite frustrating because that meant we had to figure it out ourselves later on. Then came the invoice a few days later. We noticed that we were indeed charged an extra $150 fee for "added items" of which included extra supplies, desk disassembly, and assistance with the car trailer--all of which Ryan assured me was not going to be charged. This was incredibly disappointing. I emailed them to ask why, especially because Ryan very clearly told me ahead of time that they would not charge me this AFTER they had already done these things, and I was given quite a poor response. Ryan flat out asked me for a 5-star review early that morning, and, I'm sorry Ryan, if you had provided a better email response at least attempting to resolve the $150 fee, perhaps you would have gotten something better. If you have gotten this far, then I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your moving needs, otherwise you will be stuck with a company that will find ways to charge you extra fees, only cares about their reviews, and at the end of the day doesn't really care about what you actually need out of your move. Please find someone else that can better suit your needs and truly cares about you.

We've had the water mitigated by another company, have estimates of the damage, insurance is making it right again and we are starting to restore. Inquired whether Jensen's does this type of work. They do. I asked, "Could we get an estimate?" Their response: "Maybe you should go with another company, we are a month out". My response: "That's ok, everything is 6-8 weeks out". Their response: "Something about your request doesn't seem right and I feel uncomfortable with this situation." My response: "What could be uncomfortable, I am asking for a service, you said you do this type of work. Do you not want to do business?" Them: "I am uncomfortable with insurance being involved and you have an estimate already from another place, why don't you go with them." My response: "Insurance isn't an issue, they are paying to rehab what is needed, the first company who mitigated the water gave us an estimate on the repair but we are looking at our options, so we found you online." I say, "It seems you are suggesting there is something odd about our request. I ask again, "Do you not want our business?". Their response, "No." So rather than saying they don't want our business to begin with, they push us to seek another provider then say there is something that makes them feel uncomfortable about our request. That is just strange to suggest to a customer! Just say you don't want to do a job, one that I can only assume must've been assessed as a "smaller" job. Be upfront with the customer! Not a good interaction.

I'm telling you... Mitch and his team will not disappoint. Unfortunately, I inherited a hoarder house after a family member passed away. The home was in very poor condition, filled with years of accumulated junk, and showed clear evidence of rodents living there. To make matters even more challenging, I only had four and a half days in town and live over 1,600 miles away. I needed a team I could trust to access the home and complete the work without me there to supervise. After exchanging texts with Mitch and reading reviews like this one, I decided to take a chance, and I'm incredibly glad I did. Not only did Mitch provide a fair quote for the junk removal, but after walking through the property he also offered to handle several additional projects so I didn't have to coordinate multiple contractors. That alone saved me a tremendous amount of time and stress. What really set Mitch apart was his communication and professionalism. He kept me updated throughout the entire project, sent regular photos, asked for my feedback, fixed anything that didn't meet my expectations without hesitation, and even checked in multiple times to make sure I was completely satisfied before considering the job finished. His team completely transformed the property. They cleared out the home, cleaned up the exterior, mowed the large yard multiple times (without being asked), and added fresh mulch around the house, giving it curb appeal I honestly didn't think was possible. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about doing quality work and making sure the customer is happy. Mitch earned my trust, and if I ever need work done in the area again, he'll be my first call. If I ever win the lottery I'm flying him out for jobs in my local area.
