Issue with Mister Muffler's Service: I recently took my car to Mister Muffler to fine-tune the fitment in preparation for a race. Unfortunately, within two weeks, the alignment was severely off. The steering wheel was misaligned by about 45 degrees, causing bump steer and making it unsafe to drive at highway speeds. Subsequent Resolution Attempts: Due to the severity of the misalignment, I had to seek another shop to redo the alignment. When I contacted Mister Muffler about these issues, they responded by implying that aftermarket parts are prone to loosening and suggested that my lack of mechanical expertise was a factor. They did not offer a refund or acknowledge the shortcomings in their service. Final Recommendation: Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mister Muffler. Their alignment service did not meet expectations, and the vehicle became dangerously misaligned shortly after their service. Additionally, their customer service response was unsatisfactory, with no accountability taken for the issues encountered. Oh also if you do go through these guys, be prepared to pay more for the labor after they tell you it's X amount cause it's an inconvenience or took too long to work with...

The first was the rear lift gate that I had dented backing into a truck, which was paid for by our insurance. The second area was a dent on one of the front fenders that was already on the van when we bought it, and we paid for this repair out of pocket. G&M had my van for a week to complete the repairs. When arrived to pick up my van we noticed that a tan substance been dripped inside the passenger headlight assembly and dried there. I went back inside to ask about it and was told that they had tried to repair the headlight assembly because it was not sealing (due to the damage it had when we brought it in) and that glue had dropped down inside the plastic of the assembly. They acknowledged that it didn't look good. I was told that if we didn't like the way it looked they could order a new headlight assembly but that we would have to pay the $400+ cost of the part. I went back outside to relay this information to my husband. He went inside and told them that this wasn't acceptable because it was their mistake and they needed to fix it. The tech said he would talk to the owner and get back to us and we left. They called my husband that same day and told him they would replace the headlight assembly for free. Once the part came in they replaced the headlight assembly and we thought everything was resolved and we were good. Before leaving the tech told me not to use any wax for a certain number of days if I took it to a car wash. I promptly forgot if he had said 60 or 90 days, so decided to just go with 90 days to be safe. I also decided to just avoid the car wash for that time because I didn't want to risk accidentally choosing an option with wax and messing anything up. (It's also important to note that my van is kept in a garage and I generally try to avoid driving in rain if possible) Fast forward to July 2023 and the vans first trip to the car wash since repairs. In the automatic car wash water begins pouring inside from the ceiling at the top of the rear lift gate. As soon as I exited the car wash I drove to G&M. The employee who greeted me came outside and was able to immediately see that their techs just hadn't popped a seal in place around the wires that connect to the lift gate. He asked that I leave the van with them so they could make sure the problem was fixed and have their detail guys clean it up and dry it out. 5 hours later I picked up the van and they confirmed the seal was the problem and they fixed it and got it all dried out. While they did get it dry under the plastic panel on the ceiling where the water was pouring in, and they did vacuum out most of the moisture from the floor, that is the extent of what they did. They left dirt and handprints all over the plastic panel that they removed, and it now has a gap between that panel and the ceiling where the water was gushing out. So, while they seemed to do their best to correct their multiple mistakes...they only did so once my husband stepped in and they were no longer dealing with a woman. And they also did the bare minimum to correct their mistakes, leaving me with more of a mess to clean up than I had before the car wash.

I used my last money to get an uber and he knew it. He left us stranded there. He took his stress and frustration of previous customers out on us unnecessarily. I had to scrounge money for an Uber, call family to help with getting the vehicle out, spent $60 in Uber fees, and was 3 hrs late to work. My son also had to call an Uber to go to work because the owner can't control his anger. Poor management skills! Neither my partner or I raised our voice, cussed at him or was angry. I was frustrated that I had to waste time to walk if he was willing to take cash app from the start in that situation. We were repeat customers and he has previously been good to us and we even hunted him down to make payments to ensure he had them. Now, I'll never use him again or recommend him after what he put my family through. All bc others haven't paid him on time and he "has 7 kids to feed". Maybe take care of the customers that HAVE been good to your business and you wouldn't be in this situation. Definitely needs lessons on business management and communication.
