February 2025 I have written many reviews for this company. They have been amazing at solving my mouse issue and so many other things, but most of all they have outstanding technicians who are polite, respectful of property and thorough in examining every nook and cranny of your home to catch any issues! John introduced himself to me and was so kind and considerate that he removed his boots before treating the inside of my home! He was thorough and told me what he found and how to remedy it easily. If I could give them a no star rating I would. I hired them for one reason, clover mites. The salesman who cold called my home told me the reason other pest control companies were unable to successfully eliminate them was because they didn't treat the yard. That sounded reasonable so I decided to give them a try. He tried to talk me into a two-year contract but I told him I was going to put the house on the market so agreed to one year. To make a long story short, they were not successful in eliminating the clover mites and the last technician who came (as a follow-up) said they would never be able to totally eliminate clover mites and also that they have problems with sales people making promises that they cannot keep. In addition, the customer service on the phone is awful. I called to cancel the contract as they were unable to fulfill their obligation regarding the mites but I still got charged the early termination fee. I finally agreed to it just to get rid of them. I would NEVER recommend this company. I sure wish I would have read all these poor reviews before agreeing to the contract. read more

The only reason I gave 1 star is because of the guy who came last was very nice however, their customer service on the phone is crap. My friend just recently was diagnosed with cancer and was giving only a few months to live and the nerve of the female on the phone to try and sell her a discount rate to keep the service!! Knowing she won't even be alive the next time they come!! What kind of ppl are you! Then keeping her on the phone for a half hour to keep trying to sell her stuff! I would not recommend this company. The initial service was great but since then we've had nothing but problems Including delta dust which is a pesticide getting introduced into my pool making it a healthcodeviolation. After the second service was performed , which mulitiple things were missed Including a wasp nest that was specifically state of where by my wife along with 11 other nest The technician's visual inspection. He stood 5 feet away from the door. Also, if you sign up for services, they want you to pay a $150 cancelation fee. I believe this company for the state to colorado has a class action lawsuit against them and I hope nebraska does the same there is no consistency since the send a different tech each time. read more

We hired them to treat our home and after a few months didn't feel that we were getting what we were paying for and it was becoming too expensive. I called to cancel and they cut my payments in half to try to get me to stay. I went another few months that way, and then finally called them to cancel again and they said I had one more treatment to fulfill before I could cancel. I went ahead with that one more treatment and paid and said this is my final payment. Consider this account closed. Then, three months later I saw on our ring camera while I was at work that there was someone giving our house a treatment. I called them and told them I would not be paying for this treatment that he was not to come and they argued with me. They have continued to call me to get payment, and I have told them to listen to their recordings because they record every phone conversation. I told them that I had canceled and tried to cancel at least a year earlier than what we were at by now and I didn't intend on paying for anything more because I hadn't authorize the final treatment. No explanation was given, not even when I asked. I was again assured that I would get a phone call by Friday, but I didn't receive a call. In your comment, I stated that I was dissatisfied with Ecoshield service. I want to say that I am dissatisfied because I STILL have bats coming into my house. I would never recommend this company for their pest control. They do a half-a__ job. When the employee comes to your home, they walk around the outside, and then they are gone. They don't spray the garage or even come into the house. We have canceled the service, as I can do the same thing for far less money. Canceling your account is like an act of Congress, and you have to talk to different people, but they don't listen to your request. Just a note, you will be talking to someone in the Philippines, not someone local. You can't talk to someone local. I am glad I am done with this company. read more

This company is a rip off. Our pest issues haven't improved. Plus they will only do treatments if they know you're not home so the interior don't get treated and if you have pets the allow them to get out. Do your homework and read reviews. I've spent hours on the phone trying to resolve issues but never get through to the Omaha office. Just a corporate line with heavy accents that are difficult to communicate with. read more

Don't trust this company. I was told that my monthly invoice was to be roughly 52.00 per month. They came today and I get notified my amount due is 178.30. Now they tell me that I misunderstood. I did not misunderstand. Misrepresentation.... The gentleman on the phone to help solve the issue was trying to make me feel better that he was going to reduce my payment per month to 39.00 REALLY!!! read more

We've used Pest Services everywhere we have lived. Yes, a sales guy came to our door and we normally kick them to the curb; however, this guy was so nice and charming that my wife signed us up! Besides, we have spiders and she hates them. We've had two applications, both times they did a great job, they were thorough, fast, and nice. On a side note: I'm not sure why any knuckle head would leave a negative review for a business based on nothing more than violating a "no solicitation sign." You May find that irritating, but you certainly can't testify to the veracity of their services based on the fact that you're a crotchety jerk that doesn't like to be bothered. Be irritated, get a bigger sign, but don't leave a bogus review because they had the audacity to knock on your door. I'd rather have a hard working young man knock on my door trying to solicit some income for himself, than sitting on his rear, collecting unemployment, and standing in the cheese line. This is not an easy job, give these people a break! The Mormons knock on your door, so the the Girl Scouts and you don't leave a bad review for them so how about growing up and giving people a break! read more

I would never recommend the EcoShield service to anyone. The first people that came to the door had one story about timing of service and then a contract comes to you in a whole different format of timing. When we tried to cancel after several applications we were told no problem but then they came again without notice and did the exterior only in December (who applies bug control only on the exterior in the dead of winter?) and billed our card again. Everyone you call to get clarification has a different story, the customer service and communication is some of the worst I have seen. Very misleading and sneaky in my opinion. I give a 1 star rating...not good. read more

I absolutely would not recommend this service to anyone. They say that you can get out of the annual contract if you are not satisfied, but they do not honor that. I have pets and they ensured me the service was safe for them. I only did the perimeter of my home and did not do the treatments inside out of caution for them. When my dogs got sick after the second treatment, I cancelled service. I said I'd pay for the 2 treatments that were performed, but they pushed to make me pay for the whole annual contract. They finally agreed to cancel the remaining treatments, but wanted me to pay the "full retail" rate instead of the so-called discount I was offered when they started service. They didn't do the whole treatment service that was part of the plan since I didn't have them do the interior of my home. Bottom line, I would not recommend them to anyone. Way too expensive for the service they provide and I would highly caution anyone against using them if they have pets. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company. They had a pretty slick fast talking salesperson saying one thing, and the guys doing the actual application doing and saying something else. The salesman tried to lock us into a three year contract, but we said that we didn't feel comfortable making that kind of commitment, so he offered a one year contract, now mind you there is no money back guarantee. The treatment were not effective. Now, even though we believe that we were deceived, we have only two options, either we can continue to pay the $168 every time they show up, or we can pay $70 now to cancel the contract. Absolute rubbish. Very unprofessional and did not live up to what they initially promised. When I tried to cancel, they gave me the hardest sell ever and when I called back to cancel again, they said I "wouldn't let them talk." to explain that there was a $160 fee to cancel. Bulls$&!. I've been using Proshield for the last couple of years and there services are great. They treated my home and yard. I don't have to worry this spring and summer. They remove all my pest control issues, and if I have any issues they will come back to make sure your happy with there services. I highly recommend and appreciate their services. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. I signed a ONE year contract with them and then, AFTER the contract ended, they kept coming and charging me. Then when I call them - their "customer service" switches me 3 times and then some lady said she was the ONLY one I can talk to. As if she owns the company. They are THIEVES. So when they came AFTER the contract ended, they kept coming and charging me because they sent me an email (that I deleted since I no longer had a contract with them) and then they told me it's my fault for not "canceling the account". So, SILENCE=CONSENT and CONTRACTS with an END DATE only REALLY end if you "cancel the service". TOTAL SCAM. read more

Their door to door salesman attempted to lock my mom into a 3-year contract. She is elderly with early dementia. We were able to get her contract voided but they still charged her $214 for a 1 time service. Never recommend this company. read more

Irresponsible and unprofessional. They did the initial treatment and were supposed to come back 2 weeks later to do another. They never showed up. Then they were supposed to return 2 weeks after that to begin the monthly treatments. They no-showed on 2 more appointments. Their sweet talking sales rep was smooth on his approach. They told us they were going to send someone out to investigate our ground squirrel problem and of course no one ever showed. We signed up for a monthly service for around $40 p/month. With their history of no-shows, our next step is to cancel. We are very disappointed in their unprofessional behavior. read more

The sales guy who came to my house convinced me to sign up for their services. The first problem is sales guy did not accurately portray what would happen when the applicator people came, but also lied about the cost of service. I was told the one month post 'egg service' was at no cost, after being charged 140.00 called customer service, where the service rep was not listening to me, and when asked to speak with a manager was told there were no managers available, then asked for name and title of the manager and was told that is personal information and they don't give that out! (WHAT?! A Name and Title???) Then after being put on hold for 15 minutes (I guess they realized I wasn't going to hang up) she came back and told me the discount she could give me etc. which at that time I told her I wasn't looking for a discount I wanted to speak with a manager about issues with the company (salesperson lying, the fact I had ants still even AFTER 2 applications 4 weeks apart, and the fact they scheduled me for Friday but changed it to Saturday without asking or even telling me, the fact I had called almost 2 weeks prior about the ants and was told to wait until this visit.). So I canceled service, I don't need to deal with them, and now they have charged me 176.00 for what IDK or why. Today is Saturday so I will be calling Monday morning, maybe a manager will be available then, but I will not hold my breath. This company is a joke, the day after the last application I watched a spider crawl thru where they had sprayed outside and walk into my garage, additionally I still have ants. In fact, I have ants worse now than I did before they started. I have done better at keeping them out of my house than they have. The applicator people were not well educated either, I have a pet outside that is an herbivore (eats only grass/vegetables) the applicator person on the first visit told me that it would eat the bugs in the yard. This is not true except on accident (bug on the blade of grass she is eating), I just let that go at the time. (If a manager would have come to the phone I would have told them..) I have had Terminix in the past and if I ever do a bug company again, I would go back to them. read more

Omaha is a small city-Spread the word. Don't waist your time or money like I have with ProShield Pest Solutions. They don't answer their phone, and when you leave a message they don't return your calls in a timely manner. Staff in not properly trained. They schedule service at your home, and don't show up. Treatments are at a minimum, and bugs are not gone like they say they will be. I could go on, on, but don't want to also waist my energy. Next is to contact the Corporate Office. read more

What a scam, these folks came to my door last summer and asked to treat around my house for a discounted rate. I let then treat around the outside of my house and when they came back in the fall, I told them I did not want any more treatments... but they continued billing me... even though they did not provide any service. What was supposed to be a $50 service is now $500 in charges... and now they want an additional $175 to cancel the "agreement". Buyer beware these folks don't even notify you when they bill for services they do not provide. read more

Had an ant issue last month and lucky enough Steven stopped by because he was in the neighborhood offering a group rate. The technician Conner was quick and efficient. We haven't seen any ants since the first spray and I'm looking forward to my future treatments. I recommend ProShield to everyone dealing with issues. read more

After my experience with ProShield over the year and especially today, my blood is boiling.Here is a summary of my dealings with ProShield in 2019.3/22-was leaving early from work to be at home for my 2-hr window as I wanted them to do the inside of the house this time, since they hadn't since the day that they got me to sign up.They rang my doorbell while I was driving home. When I arrived they had already left and I was still early.5/24-I called them about setting up my yr. comp. inspection.We set it up for 6/4, I told them what happened on 3/22, they gave me an 8-10 window but said I would be the 1st person of the day.6/4-Told my work I wouldn't be in until 10.I thought since I was first 1 of the day, I would be done before 10.I waited, decided it was 2 late for them to finish even if they do show up because of work.I finally called them at 9:34.They told me they didn't have any appts down for me today, that it is 6/13.I asked about my quarterly appt as well and we decided to make them both 8-10 but they said it would be 2 different people that the person who does the inspection, isn't the same person that does the quarterly treatment.6/13-I took the whole day off for Proshield in the morning and then to play golf around 12.The technician Daryl, showed up toward the end of my window, when he was done, asked him if he knew when the inspection guy was would be here as I had a tee time to make.He didn't know their schedule because someone else usually does it, but he said while I'm here I can do it quickly, this was the guy I did really like there.7/11-I called them when I got home,had 2 massive spiders crawling in my garage, they came 7/16 no charge and at the correct time.9/14-They came for the quarterly on the correct day, not sure about the time window.9/30- I had to call them again, as again I had massive spiders on my porch.I told them their solution isn't doing anything and I want to cancel as I have to keep calling soon after they are here and they have had many issues with showing up when they say they will be here, so that I can be there, so I can let them in the garage and into the house as it's the same cost and I haven't been allowed to let them inside much.They insisted that they will send someone out again no charge to take care of it, but said I still want to cancel after this is done.The follow-up was setup for 10/4 1:30-3:30.10/4-No one ever showed up and didn't hear from anyone.I figured because I told them I was cancelling, probably couldn't expect them to do a free follow-up.10/7-They showed with up no notice and completed what should have been Fri, but now I'm at work and again can't let them inside the house.12/5-I get a message about my upcoming treatment on 12/12 3:30-5:30.12/9-I'm off until 12 for a Doctor and Car appt so figured this is the best chance I had to call them, otherwise I will have to wait until after 4 each day (work 8-4 but eat while working so 0 breaks). I tried calling 10:04, 11:30, 11:35, and again after work at 4:33 trying to telling them to cancel it, not a single time does anyone answer the phone, they are open M-F 8-5.12/10-I'm at work and at 12:26 I noticed on my phone someone rang my doorbell.I pull up the garage camera and see it's a Proshield Truck, not supposed to be there at all and definitely not until 12/12.I figured, if nobody continues to answer the phone after 4 on Tues or Wed, I would at least have that I can be at home on Thur PM to stop them if they show up. At 12:27 I called Proshield, even though I'm at work, to tell them to cancel this. I get well we sent you a text on 12/5- yes you did for 12/12 not 12/10. They even had a guy call me a few mins later and said I don't have your # on our call log- I have saved a screen shot with the outgoing calls and times during the year, receipts, voicemails etc., I'm not an idiot and shouldn't be treated like 1. He said we are going to let this go 1 more time but it will be the last 1- no u shouldn't even be there u should be calling the guy at my house right now and tell him to leave. I also got, well u got moved up because of the "impending weather" on Thur. It's going to be 46 and 10% chance of rain and again why am I scheduled at all? He even asked if I was sure if I wanted to cancel it- how many times should someone have to do this.I even got an email later from the technician who was at my house today and it says he will be back in 90 days- you show up and I'm calling the police, this is enough and it won't be tolerated anymore. You wouldn't want me to come to your house or work and perform a service u didn't want and think I was going to charge you for it. They purposely ignored my calls, and they know who is calling,they moved my appt up so they could try and charge me again before I could get this stopped per 9/30, especially if I was present at my house.Don't get started with this company, the receptionists don't know how to schedule or listen to my requests,the technicians don't know how to follo read more
