Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't , it really is the modern treasure hunting for those that look around the store. This store I see that it's popular because theirs always a line to get in when they open, so it must be worth it to try to find items. Theirs some policies that I wish they'd go back to ( especially with electrical items / return for store credit if it doesn't work ) but, since it's changed now I make sure to test it out before making a purchase. At least with clothes you can return it for credit as long as you keep the tags on it ( so make sure to try them at home because theirs no fitting rooms ). Pricing has changed but just like everything else cost has gone up , sure it sucks but you still gotta look for those gems. Staff has always been friendly and I talk to them ( hopefully not too much ). So if you have some time to look around store, you'll probably find something you will like And hopefully it's priced right for ya. Patience is key when buying second hand :)

I always find something to add to my own closet and love giving a second chance of life on some of these clothes. They also have an option to rent a booth to sell your own items and it doesn't even have to be clothes! I sell my trinkets and even labubus lol. It's a fun experience to set up a booth with others and then check on it to see how it's doing! Their website makings booking a booth SO easy and they're always running promotions on their booths. Sandra and her team are the sweetest and most helpful people ever!! They are always so nice and kind with answering any questions and also fun to chitchat with if you've got spare time. The store is a manageable size. As a man I only shop about 1/4 of the store. I found a 9 inch square metal baking pan for $0.99, and a spyder 1/4 zip men's sweat shirt for $9.99. I was ecstatic. I quickly paid and happily skipped back to my car thoroughly attitude adjusted. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the parking is plentiful. It is thrifting so bring low expectations, but an open attitude.

No one should receive the level of aggressive intimidation I experienced at this donation site. When I walked back to my car he followed me and grabbed my car door so I couldn't close the door. His refusal to let close my car door was threatening and uncalled for. It immediately made me feel unsafe and afraid. I told him I would called the cops if he didn't take his hands off my car door. Once he let go I was able to drive away but the fear inside remained because of the way he treated me. I went to the goodwill to make a good deed with my donation and left feeling harassed and criminalized for no good reason.

She said, " this has to be boutique, I don't think you found it over there." Mind you the wallet was a polyester zipper wallet! I could understand leather or something name brand. I immediately just wanted to leave my items after how she made us feel. The whole experience was awful. I will never support this location again. So I went to a nearby Goodwill and it's sure enough it did exactly what I thought it was gonna be which is not lived to the expectations of thrift stores so when I got back in the car, I look up on my navigation to see if there's any other thrift stores in the area because I'm not from here. And I'm so glad I did because I found this place called Orange County Goodwill boutique and it's absolutely amazing. They had such amazing things inside their most with tags brand new great condition at a great price. As an example for men's dress shirts, they had name brands such as Nordstrom clothing you name it they had it for only nine dollars. Super awesome place I wish we had one near my house because I'd be broke going there all the time. Awesome place all around. The staff was super nice and friendly. The young man that asked me if I wanted to sign up for their discount program, found out that I was not from around here and he's never even heard of Ventura County, which made me laugh. Nice young man super helpful overall great experience next time. I'm in Orange County. I'll be back.

I focused on the men's clothes and was quite impressed with the quality and variety. Prices were decent for the stuff i like it. Since I am not from around here and not up on latest trends in "street wear" but did notice how expensive they are. One of the many advantages of being old, lol. On some occasions I've sold my pop mart figures to them and they pay $3 a figure, but another worker will only pay out 50 cents. Today they were taking them for a dollar a piece. They also take your items in bulk sometimes? I had a bunch of keychains and I assumed they'd give me 50 cents a piece (as that was my previous experience), but they ended up taking it as a lot and gave me $2 for all of them. Not a fan of that since I know they're gonna split them up and sell them at $5 a piece. Also sold a a 20 inch squishmallow brand new with tags and I took a look at their current squishmallows in the same size and all were going for around $60. They gave me $3 for mine lol. I can't wait to go back and see mine go for 20x what they paid me. Just wish they'd be consistent about what they pay out, it really varies from worker to worker.

My friend loves to check out thrift shops and I followed him here after having lunch at a restaurant next door. I was impressed with how organized and clean the place was as well as having only good quality items. I expected the prices to be higher than they were; everything was very reasonably priced and many items were superb bargains. While the majority of offerings are women's clothing there are a variety of other things to browse. My friend left with a book published in the 1940s which turned out to be worth much more than the one dollar he paid. He also bought several pieces of costume jewelry for his wife. The women working here were very pleasant and helpful. Even though I'm not a "thrift shop guy" this visit almost converted me into one.
