Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't , it really is the modern treasure hunting for those that look around the store. This store I see that it's popular because theirs always a line to get in when they open, so it must be worth it to try to find items. Theirs some policies that I wish they'd go back to ( especially with electrical items / return for store credit if it doesn't work ) but, since it's changed now I make sure to test it out before making a purchase. At least with clothes you can return it for credit as long as you keep the tags on it ( so make sure to try them at home because theirs no fitting rooms ). Pricing has changed but just like everything else cost has gone up , sure it sucks but you still gotta look for those gems. Staff has always been friendly and I talk to them ( hopefully not too much ). So if you have some time to look around store, you'll probably find something you will like And hopefully it's priced right for ya. Patience is key when buying second hand :)

I quickly paid and happily skipped back to my car thoroughly attitude adjusted. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the parking is plentiful. It is thrifting so bring low expectations, but an open attitude.

Uhm, SOME records is a severe under-exaggeration of what's offered at 1 Look. When we walked in, Davey immediately greeted us and asked what we were looking for so we pulled up a list of some records on a "hit list," then browsed around while he checked to see if he had any of them. Meanwhile, I hunted around - everything is in total organized chaos, with records everywhere, but clearly labeled by genre. The first record I pulled was Biggie's Ready to Die, which was an obvious must buy. We chatted music while searching and when I mentioned I was a Wu Tang fan, he put on one of GZA's first tracks that really kicked things off, that was unknown to me. Davey is someone who knows music and seems to really love what he does. The shop also features a ton of awesome vintage clothes, comic books, and different nostalgic items (plus VHS and DVDs too, which definitely made me feel old). We left with 4 records at great prices and will continue to come back anytime we're in Huntington! Such a unique space that you could spend HOURS in and not uncover all the magic in that place.

But employees are always friendly and helpful, so the short line moved quickly. They sell items from clothes, household items, shoes, sports gear, kids stuff, etc. Their prices are way better than Goodwill! My friend loves to check out thrift shops and I followed him here after having lunch at a restaurant next door. I was impressed with how organized and clean the place was as well as having only good quality items. I expected the prices to be higher than they were; everything was very reasonably priced and many items were superb bargains. While the majority of offerings are women's clothing there are a variety of other things to browse. My friend left with a book published in the 1940s which turned out to be worth much more than the one dollar he paid. He also bought several pieces of costume jewelry for his wife. The women working here were very pleasant and helpful. Even though I'm not a "thrift shop guy" this visit almost converted me into one.
