So I have to be honest I've never been a big fan of Goodwill stores. They are overpriced, typically for thrift stores. So I went to a nearby Goodwill and it's sure enough it did exactly what I thought it was gonna be which is not lived to the expectations of thrift stores so when I got back in the car, I look up on my navigation to see if there's any other thrift stores in the area because I'm not from here. And I'm so glad I did because I found this place called Orange County Goodwill boutique and it's absolutely amazing. They had such amazing things inside their most with tags brand new great condition at a great price. As an example for men's dress shirts, they had name brands such as Nordstrom clothing you name it they had it for only nine dollars. Super awesome place I wish we had one near my house because I'd be broke going there all the time. Awesome place all around. The staff was super nice and friendly. The young man that asked me if I wanted to sign up for their discount program, found out that I was not from around here and he's never even heard of Ventura County, which made me laugh. Nice young man super helpful overall great experience next time. I'm in Orange County. I'll be back. read more

II was never a thrift shopper and when i started working in Orange County I was told about this store and i went to check it out and I definitely can say I'm now thrift shopper because of people like Logan , Esteban and William who are the best employees of this store always makes me feel in the mode to shop if I'm on my break from work or going home off work I could be having a bad day and because of the smell and welcoming hearts they have every time i enter this store it reshape how i was feeling that day they always willing to stop and help me with any question I make have or help with my items to the car they are so helpful to me and makes me feel not just like another customer but a valued customer and family so that kind of energy that I get from them makes me just want to shop more here. Manager Kasandra has a horrible attitude & is very off putting when you try to ask about the sales that they run... like the 50% off tags and any promos they have. I simply asked when the tag colors changes out because I noticed that today was blue & the employees were taking all the blue tags off the shelves. When I asked about this and why the blue tags were being moved she said "because we need to have room for the new stuff" Hear me out .... isn't that the point of them being 50% off, so they sell faster? Clearly they don't want you to have 50% off. Why even run a discount on tags weekly just to take them ... (that's goodwill not the manager's fault) but the manager Kasandra had a horrible attitude and overall really could have been a different interaction if she would have just been nice about it. read more

While on another mission for a random thing to craft up @ the Dollar Tree - I finally got to see inside this gem. Definitely not your typical GOODWILL. It's roomy, clean, organized & smells great. The price is OVERPRICED in double compared to near by goodwill locations, jeans are almost raged to $20 while other location is less then $10. Candles and dishes are a few dollars more than other stores. Shoes are about $8-10 more than other locations. The middle aged hispanic lady store MANAGER with an eye glasses/ bleached hair is extreme RUDE and NOT helpful at all so as a Hispanic guy, Daniel, one of employees. I don't understand why it is ok to have attitude toward customers. The need to train those two people better. Lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

I come to this goodwill weekly, I love to find the great deals in the 50% off tags ... well this location was pulling all the tags that were blue ... I said something about this because when I come in I look for the whatever tag is on sale ... (I like to spend as less as possible when thrifting) So I asked are you bringing those back out so we can go through them ... hey got upset & brought out 7 skirts ... when she had handfuls of blue tags. How I'm disappointing. I get that it's a business & they are making money but thrifting isn't meant to cost me the same as if I went to the regular store. Yup 3 stars is right. OC doesn't do thrifting like LA. No studentdiscount, no 2 dollar saturdays, selection not the best just average. Whatever the rich people of OC are doing with their old clothes they're not winding up here that's for sure. I found some boots and pants (ntss ntss) for ten bucks but definitely not worth the drive to OC alone. Regular non-boutique locations in LA have much better for much less. read more

Hope corporate see this! I have been a Goodwill shopper for many years and generally have good experiences . However today was very upsetting. It's was at the Goodwill location on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. I wanted to purchased a white bathroom from Restoration Hardware. I had inspected it and it was stain free and in good condition. But no price tag , okay I am aware of the new policy , no tag , no sale , no hold, and you just can't buy it. Employee says it will be put back out the next day. Ha, that never works in the customer's favor. But what upset me was the employee , she took the pretty WHITE robe wadded it up and threw it on a super dirty cart! Right in front of me. It was so insulting. Like my choice was trash, and I was just some low life. As I continued around the store , I got more annoyed and asked to speak to the manger, turned out she was the manager. This location's management needs training badly. I find more I tagged items here that other goodwill locations. Also while I was shopping today, an employee was taking old merchandise off the shelves and smashing dishes, etc in the cart. The sound was loud and could be heard throughout the store , The store was busy. 11am on a Sunday. I heard 2 different customers tell the guy , no don't smash it, I want to buy that Corning wear dish. This is sad because there are a couple of employees in that store that a super nice. There are several GW stores in Huntington Beach / Fountain valley area and the store standards , customer respect , shopping experience is much better. Hats off to Springdale and Edinger location, Magnolia and Adams. The new store at Magnolia and Warner is doing a nice job too. read more

This promises to be a more boutique feeling Goodwill, and delivers. It's laid out nicely, nicely appointed. Feels more like a retail clothing store and not a thrift store. The selections looked like they had pulled some nicer items from their donations and brought them to this location. We found a couple of cute dresses. There were a lot of SHEIN clothes, which didn't seem very boutique like or fancier than a normal Goodwill. Maybe that's a lot of their donations right now? I would visit again. read more

This is hands down my favorite thrift store in Orange County. You have to dig because as organized as they try to keep it, sizes are all over the place. But I've found some absolute treasures in my visits - a Veronica Beard blouse, two Tory Burch handbags, Nordstrom blazer with tags on it, Good American sweatshirt, Current Elliot jeans, a Madewell purse, cashmere Mogischino sweater, Lululemon pants, to name a few. I have been a little obsessed over the past few days. I keep wanting more and more vinyl records. And this is more 4th store this week. This Goodwill location is a Boutique *. I was impressed. There is a vinyl record section up in the front by the register. Thank you! I really am sad when I see vinyls mishandled and jammed into a shelf not made for records! Too bad the selection is not as wide as I would like but, have no fear! There is always something! Today my mood was Sonny & Cher. Got 2 for 1.99 each. Such a bargain. This location, a fancy Goodwill as they proclaim, is really hit or miss. I came here once and found the best cat toys and unused goods that had come from Target up the street. My friends found cute designer and vintage clothes. The music they played were my kind of jams. The last time I visited they had zero cat products and also zero target old stock merchandise. Everything was disorganized and I didn't find anything I wanted or needed. Tons of people were milling about on a Saturday afternoon. I'll probably keep testing my luck here as they do have some hidden gems if you look hard enough - I'll have to be more patient the next time I'm here I guess! read more
