Bailey came out today and cleaned the exteriors of all the windows and also cleaned several screens. He's extremely thorough, even pointing out places where there was a glaze of paint (I'd had the house painted a couple of years ago) that I couldn't quite see. He scrupulously scraped off any paint he saw and cleaned a couple of extra panes and a screen door that he didn't charge for. He's very personable and works very hard to please the customer. Ecowash gave me the cheapest estimate for moss removal, and were by FAR the least irritating to deal with to get the estimate (one company is STILL calling me even after I've told them that I went with someone else). He was running 15 minutes late this morning and sent me a text to update, which was great. Everything ran smoothly and he did a great job cleaning up. I'm not sure about the moss treatment because I can't tell until it starts raining and the moss turns green (or doesn't), but I'm anticipating that it'll be fine. I sent Luke a text for my job needs. He was quick to respond and I answered all of his questions. I sent multiple photos as he requested and he provided me a detailed quote. He was to show up at 1 PM on the day of work, and he texted me right before then saying he was running late, and would be here at 1:30. He arrived at his modified time and we discussed the job. He saw there were box elders on my upper eaves due to the time of year. I explained to him they are harmless and offered him spray that will repel them but he didn't want to use it. He asked if the sting and I said they do not. He just appeared he was looking for an excuse to not complete my job. He climbed his ladder to the second story, and then came back down. He said the bugs weren't leaving, so he had to decline the job. He told me 'good luck' with finding someone else and left. I don't see how he could have completed the job showing up at 1:30. I lost a week of finding another company to complete the work I needed done due to his poor behavior. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend him or his business due to his poor behavior and lack of work ethics. As to your response, you didn't complete any work, so how would I not be unhappy? The box elders and stink bugs are harmless but annoying. They showed up the previous day and are gone a week later. This is normal in treed areas of Oregon. They show up at the end of September trying to find places that are warm to hibernate through winter. Other businesses had no issue with them when I called others. But, I told you they weren't on the back of the house nor side since it was shaded, and you could start there and in a few hours when the front is shaded, most would be gone. You still chose to only go up to the front of the house, and told me the roof was covered in bug feces. That is completely incorrect as they don't hang out of the roofing, and they don't have feces left on the roof, especially being only up there a few hours the day prior and just showing up a few hours before you arrived. Again, just a poor way to run your business in my opinion. You could have offered to reschedule since I told you they would be gone at the first cooler/wet weather. Your parting comment of 'good luck' in finding another business was just unprofessional. read more

Luke was great. He pretty much dedicated his day to making my roof and gutters and windows were in tip top shape. The ONLY reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is the cleanup afterward and the fact that 5 stars from me are tough. The -back- end of my gutters were not clean and the sun roof window was not cleaned up. This was after a couple of hours of major moss cleanup on the roof. The roof itself was glorious and the rest of the windows were crystal clear. After about 6 weeks I contacted Luke and asked him to redo the problem area. I offered to pay him for the trouble of reapplying.
