Unskilled, uncaring, cost more but did less work, hesitant to do the basics, acting as if it was my job, upon requesting my gutters to be cleaned I should have asked for what they used to just do. First, they responded to my email really quickly...I work in an open office and it's difficult to make calls, so appreciated the email response. On the day of the inspection, they arrived promptly and were very honest in assessing my gutters. Turns out I need to do a replacement and they told me that after getting on the roof and checking out the gutters. They could have easily led me on and charged me for extensive repairs -- only to discover later I needed to do a replacement anyway -- so was glad they were honest in their assessment. read more

A great service located thanks to Yelp. I second the experiences of many others: a professional, thorough team arrived and did their job. I appreciated the before and after photos taken to show me what was going on up there. They went the extra mile and re-attached a short piece of gutter that kept slipping off our house. They also pointed out that our gutters were set up incorrectly in the first place, and kindly tried to fix a spout which some amateur had put on ass-backwards. This was great customer service, but it sadly backfired. Despite its ass-backwards-ness, the gutter had never leaked prior to professional intervention. The next time it rained, we wound up at Home Depot materials to re-route the newly sprung leak away from our house. Regardless, we'd use their services again. They are great! As a first time homeowner and someone who has zero interest in walking around on my roof, I knew I needed to pay for someone to do this for me. Last fall I used a neighborhood guy, but fear of a slip and fall and liability lead me to seek out a pro. They noted the bit of moss and gave me info and estimate on treating it, which I will have them do later, just couldn't afford right now. They were great and did not try to push me into it! They finished in about 45 mins, cleaned up everything and emailed me the before and after pictures. We used Neighborhood Gutters to clean our gutters and make a repair on a downspout. They sent two guys out to do the repair and cleaning. Both were really nice guys who did exactly what I was requesting. They cleaned the gutters by hand and took the debris with them and installed a new piece of gutter to fix a split elbow . October 1, 2014 I had an appointment for my gutters to be cleaned and a few holes to be sealed by another company. This appointment was made three weeks prior and I confirmed the day before. The man never showed for up the appointment or answered my phone calls. I found Eric and Neighborhood Gutters online and called him. He answered while on a roof, he came off the root to take my call. He happened to have a cancellation that afternoon. He was at my house about three hours later and did a wonderful job. The team of three did a great job along with cleaning up after themselves and a little extra touch or two (clearing out a hornets nest and I think they washed the skylight). The price seemed a bit steep for me on my budget, but then I never get up on my neglected roof which is VERY steep for me and so I appreciate the work done.
