This dealership is shat. I bought a new rav 4 hybrid from them and I had many bad experiences mostly with the staff here. They think people are dumb and don't know anything about cars. They treated me bad mostly when I went to get the compliment service which is included and I had to remind them that I had oil changes already paid for. Once you own your car they will call and email constantly and harass with their stupid cookie cutter emails and scripts for calls. After I've told them several times in writing to never contact me they still persist. Nothing against Toyota as a brand just this crap dealership which I'll never give my valuable business to again. I am not sure why other reviews of this business are as low as they are. I have purchased many cars in my lifetime. The process has always been riddled with stress and the constant back and forth haggling. I did not experience that at all with Ed Morse Toyota. I did all of my research on the vehicle that I wanted. I checked fair pricing at various car dealerships. I checked the fair trade in value for my existing vehicle and actually got offers from Carmax and Carvana before I went to the dealership. The key here is that I was prepared. I met with Daniel, a salesmen at Morse. He was pleasant, straight forward, and not a pressure salesman. A nice young man. We discussed the trade in and he had a mechanic appraise the vehicle right there and then. They offered me less than Carmax and Carvana and I showed him the offers from both. He went to the manager and the manager immediately matched the highest offer. No back and forth at all. Daniel then showed me the vehicle that I was interested in. A test drive sealed the deal. I already knew the fair sales value of the vehicle, and Daniel came back with a spot on offer! No haggling! The offer was exactly what I expected. Now, on to the finance department. We met with Nicole. A very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable woman. She explored my financing options and because I have very good credit, she secured a loan for me that was actually a lower interest rate than I thought I could get. I drove away with my new vehicle! The entire process was just about 90 minutes. Simple and honest. I will always do business with Wd Morse Toyota in Delray. Kudos to Nicole and Daniel! BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP AND OMAR NIEVES I went in to look at an M4, and the salesman, Omar, told me it had gone through their 125-point inspection and that everything that needed to be done had been done. When discussing price, I was told it was final. After some back and forth, I met a "manager" named Javier, who was extremely disrespectful and didn't take me seriously. I told him I planned on buying a warranty and GAP if it would help get to my number. He laughed and said it would be expensive. I left and looked elsewhere. The next day, Max called and asked if I'd still be interested if they could work on the price. Later, Omar called and said they could get closer to my number, but only if I purchased a warranty and GAP. I returned and worked with another manager, Terry, who addressed my concerns and got to my number. In finance, I met Omar Nieves (different Omar). Before signing anything, I specifically told him I wanted GAP and a warranty. He said okay and never once told me there wasn't a warranty available for the car. After getting a better loan approval, a tire and wheel package was added. Because the rate was better, I agreed. I then asked multiple questions about the warranty, including what company it was through, whether it was reputable, and whether modifications would affect coverage. He answered every question as if I was buying a warranty. A few hundred miles later, I lifted the car because of a tapping noise and found a major differential leak with fluid everywhere--something that would have been impossible to miss during a proper inspection. Since then, I've also found a failed valve cover gasket, a cracked differential bushing, and completely dry-rotted rear shock bump stops, all within about 1,500 miles of ownership. While reviewing my paperwork, I discovered I had been sold a maintenance service contract that I never asked for or even knew I had, along with the tire and wheel package and GAP. There was no warranty. When I called the dealership, the employee immediately knew who I was and what deal I was calling about before I even explained anything. After "looking into it," I was told there was never a warranty in the deal and that a manager would call me back. They never did. After 20+ calls and being transferred around for over an hour, Omar finally called me and claimed he couldn't even find my deal. After supposedly locating it hours later, he admitted there was no warranty because one wasn't available for the car. At no point during the sale did he tell me that. I then asked why I had a maintenance service contract I never requested, and he claimed I had asked for it. It felt like products were added to increase commission while I believed I was signing for the warranty and GAP I had specifically requested. When I later went in to cancel the maintenance service contract, I asked Omar how he could do this to people and whether he remembered answering all my warranty questions during the sale. He had no response. The way I was transferred from person to person with no answers and no callbacks made it feel like everyone was trying to avoid taking responsibility. The salesman Omar even ran inside when he saw my car pull into the lot to cancel the maintenance contract. This has been one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. Between the questionable inspection, undisclosed mechanical issues, and what I believe were misleading finance practices, I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying here to carefully review every document before signing and proceed with extreme caution. read more

Although it took about two hours to find and properly diagnose the problem, they got it right and took another 90 to get it fixed right. But their service providing free round trip Uber within a 15 mile radius was a game-changer, as we were able to leave the dealership and have a relaxed lunch nearby without sitting and fretting while the repairs were being made. I took my 2025 Land Cruise in for an oil change at Ed Morse Toyota Delray. I was asked if I wanted the inspection, I said sure. Two hours later I was wondering what's up with the car and I went to check the service agent. He called me in and said, the "specialist" said you need the following. A $130 bill morphed to $340. This is the second time this specific dealer has done this. My last oil change here morphed to a $600+ bill, with filters and fluids that I "should" change. On both occasions I said no, but this time I took a piece off the service agent. He says they are all "optional", though clearly they would have been very pleased if I had accepted their "options". When he realized I was not letting up, he said that I have the option of not accepting the so-called inspection. Here I think this inspection is to detect if there are any issues I should know about that could be dangerous. Instead, this dealership uses this as a tool to pad their bill. This is outrageous and egregious. How many trusting customers have over paid for unnecessary work to be done on their cars. Toyota should come down on these bums like a ton of bricks. I have ZERO confidence and ZERO credibility is the crap service department of this con-man dealership. Drive these guys out of town, and out of business. read more

SALESMAN EDUCATION!! I recently leased my dream car from Ed Morse Toyota(Camry). I had a 1994 Camry that was totaled by a thoughtless driver, while parked in my front yard, 30 yrs. ago. I was only able to enjoy it for 2 1/2 years. It was with much sacrifice, I was able to afford another Camry. I was in a leased Hyundai, and informed my salesman I still had payments owing on it. He never informed me I would be responsible for those remaining payments. I don't know if it was my ignorance, or my salesman lack of training, that has caused my dream to become my worst nightmare!! I am now paying for 2 cars on a Social Security income. The dealership was nice enough to give me a Toyota credit card to pay the previous lease balance. The service team puts on a professional front but in reality they are slacking off. It's taken them 3 and a half hours and counting as a write this to do the first service on a new four runner. That consists of rotating the tires and an inspection of the vehicle we were originally told an hour to a hour and a half but that has not been the case. Throughout this process we've been told it's almost done several times but again that's not been the case. They couldn't even get tire weights on properly YET they found multiple things needed on a 28,000 mile Camry - over $1200 right after the warranty was over. After multiple issues "attempting" to speak with the service manager, Toyota Corporate put me in touch with their Customer Service Manager - Jacalyn... AFTER speaking with her I KNOW WHY the dealership has changed, if this is who you have as a customer service manager, I was furious after speaking to her. I traded my Camry in for a different make and model and NO longer have to deal with this dealership. The sales department is great BUT after you buy you have to deal with the service department which has changed considerably for the WORST and this Customer Service Manager needs to find another profession. Went to Ed Morse Delray Toyota Used Cars to look at a 2020 Audi S4. The car looked great and ran ok. They could not offer any warranty at all and they recommend to go to Audi to get one, which is fair. You would assume that Ed Morse would have inspected the car thoroughly to make sure things were all there and working as expected. This is where they failed horribly, the car has a water pump leak and both catalytic converters were removed from the car. This work is going to cost me over $10,000 to repair and replace. No one told me anything about these two items or gave me any warning that these items had issues or were not in the car. Been trying to reach Anthony from the used car side and left several messages with no return call. I feel I got cheated by Ed Morse. This will be the only time I will ever consider Ed Morse for anything. The only shining light in this entire situation is Byron McNair. That man is the best thing that has happened to Ed More Delray Toyota. He was involved during the finance phase with Richard Alfonzo. So very polite and helpful and is a valuable asset to their team. June 20 (Updated): Anthony from the Used Car gave me a call back and I brought the car back in. The car does have a catalytic converter but its not the original converter that comes with the Audi. Its a modified converter, you won't the type unless you open the converter to see what type it is. The car is indeed modified and it was done by the previous owner. Both things are very difficult to spot and the owner should have stated that information up front so the sales person would know what was done and make a note of it. The issue with the water pump was not able to be corrected. Since I took the car to Audi to get it looked over and they spotted the leak and fixed it, Ed Morse could not help provide any additional financial help with that. If I would have brought the car back then Ed Morse would have been able to fix it (possibly at no cost) but since it was fixed at another dealership then its a no. So after working with Anthony in Used Cars, I changed my rating from one star to four stars. So I still slightly cheated yes but thats ok since majority of those two items were impossible to determine what was done internally to the car. However in regards to the water pump issue, we could have come to a better resolution. Even after all that I would now consider giving Ed Morse Toyota Delray a chance in buying a new toyota or used vehicle. I would be more thorough in buying a used car, but they do have pretty good new car selection. read more

I tagged along with a friend when he went to have his car serviced. Checking in with the service advisor was quick and we were told the wait would be about an hour and half. We found two available seats in the waiting area. A table was set up with assorted bagels and cream cheese. I thought it was so cool to find a large kiosk in the showroom selling authentic Cuban treats. The space is rented by a lovely lady who is serving up empanadas, coffee, Cuban sandwiches, croquettes as well as juices, yogurt, chips, soda, protein shakes and pastries. I had a few bites of my friends beef empanada which was actually very tasty. My friends car service went well, the ladies room was clean and there is a playroom set up to keep the kids busy. Two stars is for the brutal sales tactics used by management, specifically Alan and Justin. First Alan came into the waiting area and literally went seat by seat asking if we were looking to trade in our vehicles, go for test drives etc. It really did make all of us so uncomfortable. I get it, that is how sales people make money, but there is a time and place for everything. You don't attack people with sales pitches while they are trapped and waiting impatiently for their car, especially when they have made it crystal clear they are not interested. After Alan walked away not even eight minutes later we were all approached by Justin. Same heavy sales pitch just not as polished as Alan. He actually told my friend that he desperately needed his car to add to his used car inventory. Then he went into an entire monologue about referrals etc. I am telling you he wasn't giving up anytime soon so I gave him an earful of my thoughts about his aggressive behavior and asked him to leave us alone. I will never buy a car in this dealership because it was so obvious management (Alan and Justin) only care about one thing and one thing only and that is making a sale. At one point Justin plopped himself in a seat next to a senior citizen and put the sales pressure on pretty heavily. This poor man was sitting reading his book and Justin just invaded his privacy. We sat and watched this in complete horror; it really was terribly inconsiderate. A few hours before my friends service appointment he received a text from someone asking him if he wanted to test drive a new car. Seriously, it started with a text before he even stepped foot in the dealership and got worse from there. We all found their behavior to be disgraceful and just not very nice. I mean if someone says no, then please leave them alone, especially the seniors. My main concern is that some older and more vulnerable people may be talked into making a purchase they can't afford or don't need; just because the sales managers won't take no for an answer. Two stars is for the Cuban kiosk and our awesome service advisor. Based upon my own experience I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this dealership to anyone. They say a picture is worth a thousand words & pictures don't lie, so I made sure to snap a few pics of these managers in full sales mode. read more

After buying a new and expensive car at this dealership several years ago, I was naturally expecting a modicum of good will demonstration from this establishment. No such luck. The "service department" turned out to be anything but service-oriented, at least in my case. I even changed the "service advisors" (a laughable misnomer), but the dismissive attitude remained. The people whose rent I literally was paying were simply not interested in my needs. MY needs - isn't what service is about? Other than crude attempts to sell me something - anything - they do not CARE. Unreturned phone calls, unanswered questions and the general bad vibe had finally convinced me to seek another outlet to patronize. Oh, and the car wash? What's that? Not once available through the YEARS of my service visits. Just plain shabby. A fitting example of the pride they take in their work. There is no mystery here: a direct result of bad managers hiring and promoting bad employees. Again, they just don't care and it shows. Wonder why the customers aren't returning? Well, wonder no more. I am currently looking to buy another vehicle and, needless to say, I'm more likely to spend my money on Mars than at Ed Morse Delray Toyota. Not a penny more ever again.
