Work with Nick if you want to be lied to and treated like just another income stream…read more We had a terrible experience with Nick's office. After several years of being good customers, paying bill son time, even referring others to work with Nick, he had a massive failure of communication, completely screwed us over, failed to even try to rectify the situation, and it cost us $800 in DMV fees. In short, when our credit card on file expired, we got a notice from corporate State Farm that our car and home insurance was going to expire. I called Nick's office immediately and gave them a new credit card and paid our bill. Unbeknownst to us, the office did not update our credit card, and so the following month the bill was not paid again. Only this time, no notification came from corporate, nothing from Nick, no email, no text, nada. And so our insurance expired for a month and we did not know about it. AND we even called the office twice during that time period with other questions, and Nick didn't bother to inform us that we had NO INSURANCE. We finally learned we were without insurance when we got notification from the DMV that our licenses were suspended! WTF?! We called Nick to find out what happened and he took no responsibility. I went to the office and the worker took no responsibility. There was no attempt to help us, no offer to even split the DMV fine of $800. NOTHING from Nick. Not even an apology for his mistake. Nick said he was legally unable to help us out with the massive financial loss. He sent us a $25 gift card to Chili's, as if one beer and crappy burger was going to make up for his massive mistake. We wrote to State Farm corporate about this wrongdoing and lack of integrity. We talked to one of the underwriters and they informed us that local offices are indeed able to offer compensation or rectify situations financially. So Nick lied to us on top of it all. We offered him one more chance to make good on his huge mistake. Big surprise, he didn't. So we switched carriers. Do not work with this person.

I paid a higher interest fee over national banks because I wanted to keep the money local, and get decent service. And it WAS. But it ISN'T anymore. They've gone from "OK" to lousy. Here's why: 1) they attached hidden fees to my car loan that amounted to $15 a month/per payment (not including interest), 2) paying bills online was easy. Now that they've changed the online pay to an app (CFCU+), it's very difficult. The app isn't intuitive, nor easy, and includes zero pop-ups of what an icon means. Searching for a biller is now a scroll fest, because the search bar will let you find the biller -if you spell it fully, correctly, as entered. Once you find it, you can't select it. So now, you have to scroll to select it anyway, 3) want to send a message to them online for good service? Well that option is temporarily disabled. Temporarily means for weeks. Give them a call?, prepare for a LONG wait. Customer service was their middle name, now it's their middle finger. If you are searching for a good local bank/CU, look further. That's what I'm doing now. In frustration.

Recently needed to make some changes to my account - customer service was nonexistent. Waiting hours online - representatives do not know what they are doing, providing incorrect info continually, supposedly fixing mistakes but never do, - callbacks never come. Finally had to leave. Do not use this bank.
