UPDATE - do NOT recommend. Update 6/19/26:…read more After everything that happened with the vehicle I purchased from Paris Nissan, I attempted to resolve the situation reasonably and in good faith. I offered to settle for only half of the financial loss I incurred from the significant loss in value of the vehicle and even offered to remove my negative reviews because I appreciated that they had at least shown some willingness to stand behind their customer and try to help make things right. Unfortunately, communication has now stopped completely. Despite my efforts to reach a fair resolution, I am no longer receiving responses. What has disappointed me most is not that a vehicle had serious issues--problems can happen with any manufacturer. It's how a dealership chooses to treat a customer when those problems occur. When things went wrong, I tried to work collaboratively toward a solution. Instead, I was ultimately ignored. If you're considering doing business with Paris Nissan, understand that the true test of a dealership is not how they treat you when they're making a sale, but how they treat you when there's a problem afterward. Based on my experience, once things became difficult, communication ceased and I was left to deal with the consequences on my own. I hope other consumers will take this into consideration when deciding where to purchase a vehicle. Update approx 6/10/26: I am retracting the positive review I previously left for this dealership. When I originally purchased my *brand new* Nissan from this dealership, I had a positive experience and left a favorable review. Unfortunately, my experience after developing serious issues with the vehicle has completely changed my opinion. The vehicle experienced repeated repair attempts for the same safety defect (the first one less than a month after having it) and spent over 30 days out of service. When I ultimately returned it to the dealership (after owning it barely five months) because the defect happened again, both the salesperson and finance manager acknowledged that they believed something was wrong with it and stated that they would not be reselling it on their lot. Despite those statements, the dealership significantly undervalued the vehicle during the trade-in (approximately $10k) process rather than treating it in a manner consistent with its lemon law history. I was also told there was nothing the dealership could do regarding the situation and was encouraged to sign paperwork that, as I later learned, affected my ability to seek relief through Nissan corporate with them saying the only remedy was through the dealership. So both pointed fingers. What is most disappointing is that I trusted this dealership because I had purchased the vehicle from them and had been a satisfied customer. Instead of helping a customer who was dealing with a vehicle that had ongoing serious issues, I was steered toward a transaction that cost me a significant loss. My advice to other consumers is to thoroughly research their rights before returning a vehicle with significant repair history and not assume the dealership will explain all available options. For these reasons,I am withdrawing my previous positive review and can no longer recommend this dealership. Original post: This was THE easiest car buying experience I've ever had. They worked with me, were quick to respond, were upfront about pricing; financing was NOT pushy which was VERY appreciated, and they even delivered the car TO me. Fantastic, 5 star service!

The tires looked like they were in desperate need of replacement as well, with large chunks of rubber either missing entirely or barely hanging on. I get that this is being sold as a used vehicle, but when you're asking someone to pay $30k for a "used" truck, you would expect something better than this! When my wife asked for a test drive, the initial engine crank was enough for us to know right away we didn't need to take the test drive. It had definite sounds of mechanical issues. The old guy helping us today informed us that their mechanic makes sure all their vehicles are mechanically sound - which I have problems believing after hearing something like that engine just produced. I'm not sure they even bothered with any kind of detail of the interior either. The carpet protectors were still caked in mud. There was some unknown dried substance that had dripped down the sides of the center console, and lots of dust throughout the cabin mixed with some kind of animal fur throughout. I have no idea if they ever planned on addressing any of these issues, but this was not our idea of what a $30k truck should or would look/sound like.

They replaced the battery which was new and blew my fuel pump up. My husband came and pick it up. He did not get out of the parking lot cause it would not stay running. So they gave him a loaner with no gas in it. Went back the next day and they told him it would be 850.00 for the fuel pump. Well if I wanted my car I had to pay it. So we paid it. I wrote several emails to them telling them that I would pay for the fuel pump and them pay me back for the labor since they blew it up. No one will even talk to me. When my husband picked it up they had left 2 sensors unplug. Thank God he is a mechanic and knew what to do. The manager would not talk to us at all. Then the girl we had to deal with Misty Salvador quit accepting my call or answering my emails. So they are the worst Ford dealers in Oklahoma. They treated us like krap. And all we done was ask for the recalls to be done. Their mechanic is no mechanic. Now my check engine light is on all because of James Hodges Ford. The manager name is Roger Ballard. They are awful people. Teresa Youngblood

I was ready to buy a Ford Explorer, had signed all of the papers, financed through Ford Credit, and had waited over a week for invoice option accessories to be received and installed on this car. The car was to be delivered to me approx 150 miles away, and Roger Ballard was going to charge me an additional $250.00 to have the car delivered on a flatbed truck. I said "NO". This was the last straw. There were ZERO negotiations on this car, due to Roger continually not willing to negotiate. In the end, I was willing to pay $1400.00 under MSRP for a new car. Even though it was being sold as a new car, it had been driven by Roger Ballard as his personal car and already had around 600 miles on the odometer. Now Roger is cancelling this deal!! He is extremely unprofessional and I question how he managed to achieve his high position within Ford. My sales person, Katie, was great however, everyone else I dealt with was horrible. Buying a new car should be a happy memory, but Roger Ballard, General Manager at James Hodge Ford in Idabel OK has stripped that from me. Not only can I honestly say, I will NEVER buy from James Hodge Ford again, but I can also honestly say I will NEVER buy another Ford car ever again!! Save yourself from this headache, buy elsewhere.

Car buying can be a pain when in person, but I was thinking that it would be even more painful over the phone. But that was NOT the case. Jimmy made the the process very smooth, from negotiating a price, to receiving the paperwork to sign and send back, to making sure my truck got on the transport truck safely.
