I live in California and was looking for a RAM 2500 truck with specific packages. I searched all over CA, AZ, NM and I was able to locate four dealerships in Texas that had the exact truck I wanted. One of the dealerships did not take me seriously since I was an out of state buyer, the second dealership wanted me to fly to Texas to sign paperwork, the third dealership said dealing with CA registration is a hassle...needles to say I was getting discouraged and was about to settle for a truck in CA. I figured I give the last dealership, Bonham Chrysler a try and see if they would be willing to help. I was transferred to Jimmy in sales, who confirmed that the truck was available and that they would be happy to sell me a truck! Car buying can be a pain when in person, but I was thinking that it would be even more painful over the phone. But that was NOT the case. Jimmy made the the process very smooth, from negotiating a price, to receiving the paperwork to sign and send back, to making sure my truck got on the transport truck safely. Caveat Emptor This dealership does not disclose the fact that they are selling buy-back lemons. I spoke to a salesman named Juan Soto and he never mentioned this fact. You must do your own research and pull the Carfax to discover this. This devalues the car as much as selling a salvage title vehicle (total loss that is repaired). He also lowballed my trade in. I recently bought a vehicle from Bonham Chrysler. I didn't realize that one of the back seatbelts wouldn't work. I did buy the extended warranty. The vehicle only had 35500 miles on it. I have only had it 2 months . I can't get them to fix it. I just keep getting the run around. Be careful what you buy. The warranty company supposedly doesn't return calls . They don't inspect seatbelts before they put them on the lot. I have spoken with my sells man Trent Taylor and finance Lance and the service department with no prevail in two weeks. read more

These guys are the best. I came in from another state, looked all over Dallas for a Ram truck deal and wound up in Bonham. It was very well worth the drive (which was actually faster than going across town in this mad Dallas traffic). They had the best offer for my trade by far of any dealer I talked to as well as what I believe are the absolute lowest prices in the nation. I have researched trucks on line until my eyes crossed and Bonham Chrysler can't be beat. The sales staff and finance people did not pressure me and were very professional and friendly. HOWEVER, Texas has a mask mandate, and NO ONE was wearing a mask. I sat in the car for 4 hours while my daughter went in there. Salesman was great, but watch out for the finance department! Impeccable credit and the finance guy tried to screw us every which way he could. I don't know how the guy sleeps at night. He just talked non-stop trying to distract. Lied to us about finance companies and their rates. We were googling under the table and showed him the rates from a certain finance company and all the sudden our rate went down 2 percent. Getting service from them is also an issue. Always have to order parts and cost you a day. I knew it wasn't what they said it was so I went to Freedom Dodge in Sherman. It was a lose wire that disconnected in the overhead console. I now take my warranty work to Freedom Dodge in Sherman. read more

I spoke to a sales rep asking for a video on the car the told me that another sales rep was driving the car around. Because his vehicle is in the shop. I told them I was willing to make a deposit to hold the car I just wanted a video of the car. 3 Days past by after already buying my plane ticket to go pick up the car and the sales rep told me somebody was there to purchase the vehicle after already I told him I was willing to put a deposit down on the vehicle. They still sold the vehicle to another customer after the other sales rep took 2 Days driving the car around before he came back to the dealership. read more

"Poor example of a car dealership" Saturday before Christmas 2016 I spoke to a sales associate and had him "hold" a F250 that I was interested in buying and he said no worries that it would be held. The reason I needed it held was because I was in Alabama and would have to fly out the day after Christmas. Still, he said no problem. I thought this was too easy and called back 5 times unable to get ahold of the salesman and left messages each time with the rude answering service representative if you could give her that title. The reason I called 5 times was to put a deposit on the truck so there would be no issues. I received no return call from the dealership and then Christmas Day went by. The "answering service representative" also said they would be closed on Christmas but would open again the following Monday. I boarded the plane at 6am Monday, too early to call and confirm that they still had the truck held for me, and departed for Dallas. Once in Dallas I drove 1.5 he to Bonham to purchase the truck. Once there, I was presented with what looked like a C class commercial building littered with trash on the floor and a guy kicked back in an old chair who asked me "can I help you?" I asked for the sales guy that I was told that I was working with and matched up with my info in the system supposedly. Turns out that not only was the sales guy that I was paired with not the sales guy who entered my info into the system, I also was informed that they had sold the truck last night before. They then tried to sell me anything else on the lot, the ol "bait and switch" and wasted another 20 min of my time. I finally determined this to be a complete fail and decided to leave. The salesman pleaded with me to stay and speak to his manager. Ok, maybe they have something they can work out with me I thought. After 20 min of waiting for anyone at that point, the salesman showed back up and said he couldn't find any manager. Even if I was from that area, I would buy from somewhere else in Dallas, the setup is subpar, there is no customer service and the administrative center is a construction trailer on the side of this old class "C" commercial building that looks like something I would expect to change my oil or wash my car, not sell me one of the larger purchases I will have in life. Good prices on cars. Be careful to check the vehicle over yourself. They have good prices but don't expect everything to be perfect. Finance department will try to sell you everything under the sun. I left with a bad taste in my mouth after spending half a day working out price and then arguing with the finance department that I don't need gap insurance, extra warranty on top of manufacturing warranty, and lost key insurance. Just know your stuff before walking in to talk to them and you should be fine. read more

FUTURE BUYERS PLEASE READ!!!!!!! I have shopped this dealership through 5 Dodges. Told my husband that he really need to go there based on my past experience. I HAD NO IDEA the owner that I absolutely adored actually sold the dealership. I called before hand so that we could get some details out of the way and minimize time spent at the dealership. I spoke with William and explained what we wanted, what we expected. Great no prob, he texted me 2 pics and that was the last time I spoke with him. Was passed on to another "salesman" Josh. He was great texting and I explained everything that I had explained to William, set up an appt for today at noon. My husband showed up and guess what no Josh. He was at another lot. No biggy he waited. After all of the planning ahead turned out to be a TOTAL WASTE of my time. I was in Paris with my mother for the day who I don't see often and after several phone calls we realized this truck purchase was going South I left to go to Bonham. They insinuated that our credit wasn't nothing but fair WAS A LIE We have high 700. And after we told them numerous times we wanted our payment to be around 800....they came back 1700. WTH. So we left after some heated words and on the way home I decided to call DALLAS DODGE. Spoke with Jovanni (THE BEST SALESMAN) and his SALES MANAGER and they came through with flying colors. Took my new Jeep Wrangler in for its oil change- heard an air hammer under my Jeep while they were changing the oil- they said the oil plug was cross threaded and were air hammering it off. They said they couldn't get it off- and I would have to take it back to the dealer I bought it from- so I drove the two hours back to the purchasing dealer- they fixed it under the 3yr/36k factory warranty free of charge- sure wish Bonham Chrysler woulda just taken care of it there- instead of me having to make a four hour drive round trip to get my first oil change done. Good news is original dealer did the oil change for free saying Chrysler would cover it since they had to change the oil to install a new oil pan with drain plug- that's great customer service- definitely not how Bonham Chrysler handled it. read more

I was looking online for a very specific bright green ram 1500. Bonham was the only dealership that had it. (I would later find out that they stock unusual and exotic colors, most of their sales are from people coming in out of town.) I sent an email to see if they had it in stock and they did so I called David on Monday and decided to check it out in person (far drive, but it was worth it). The truck place is in a different area than the car area. Unfortunately the green I wanted sold out Thursday. I looked at the other green truck and I still liked the color so I took it for a test drive and it ran well. I was offered the price on the internet ad and it was close to the true cost value so I took it. Carmax gave me a great quote for my SUV, but Bonham was able to match that with a price that included some tax credits and not delivering it to my house if I took it off the lot today. Great offers, no need to haggle. The finance part took a while since you had to fill out forms. Once the check went through with my bank, the truck was washed and good to go! David was a pleasure to work with and talk to. Everyone in the office was pretty friendly and it was a great environment. I did my research, knew what I wanted, and was familiar with the negotiation process so it helped me understand what was going on.
