Many of my reviews are wordy, lengthy and detailed (ha!!!). I'll simply say this. Easy 5 stars, one of the the more pleasant carryout dining experience in years. All boxes checked- flavor, freshness, value/portion size....I was amazed. Had the chicken/shrimp hibachi bowl and chicken katsu ramen along with an order of spring rolls. All were simply outstanding, sweet lord. My culinary find of the year!!!

I've eaten here twice and have been impressed both times. The staff is friendly and the food has always been good. There isn't a ton of seating, but it seems to move pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend eating here any time and think that the takeout would be just as reliable too!

Went here for son's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meals, service was great. Portions are very big, ordered large ramen and was enough for two meals (took half home). Will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious! Came in for lunch on a Monday, service was very quick. Ordered the shrimp tempura ramen, the shrimp came on the side, which was nice, since the shrimp stayed nice and crispy. The ramen was savory and the eggs were cooked just right. Will be back for sure

This is a review of the order through door dash. Ordered: Pork bao bun- these were good. The bun was a bit doughy but so insanely spicy I was surprised by the sheer heat. Neither of us could eat these, with how spicy they were. It was a disappointment as they looked so delicious and cost almost 9.00 for 2. Chicken katsu ramen- the chicken didn't fit in the bowl due to adding extra soft-boiled eggs. The chicken was packaged in a separate container which did keep a nice crisp on the breading, which was a nice touch. It seemed like the container was a bit cramped, and opening and eating it was complicated. He thought the spinach made the bowl taste almost dirty, which I agree with (they should have bok choy, in my opinion, in the bowl. The corn was a nice touch, though, and welcomed by us both in our bowls. We spent 15.49 for a small one with an extra egg. Spicy miso pork ramen- was no natural spice to this but a good hearty warming flavor. The pork was incredible and thin slices with fat marbelized in the slice giving it an intense flavor. I was so happy I added the bok choy as I agree the spinach had almost a dirty flavor that I found so very off-putting. I paid 15.99 for a small bowl but was packed and unable to finish the whole meal. Despite it being a bit pricey, the portion was ample. It arrived warm and well-packaged. I wish they could add hoisin sauce, chili oil, and Sriracha sauces. That would have been a lovely touch. As well as an apt ion for either extra bok choy and no spinach or sub spinach for bok choy. Also, a warning that the bao bun was spicy would have been appreciated, but I was happy and will eat it here again.

The food was amazing, the service was incredible! They seated our party of 10 quickly and were incredibly kind in serving us. The ambiance is laid-back and comfortable. Seriously, the #1 ramen place we've been to, and we're from NY. Thank you!

Relaxing jazz music, quick service, but most importantly, amazing food. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, and some Takoyaki to start. It's genuine, and an amazing experience, even for experienced foodies. The broth will knock your socks off!

Worse "bubble tea". A glob of powder. I'll never order it again!

Hands down best Asian spot I've found out here. The kimchi ramen was bussin and not too spicy. Had to add pork on side and also that's the large bowl. Shrimp tempura roll was good nothing special. Service was average too. Good enough I came back the next day!

Staff are helpful and to the point. They are from Hong Kong. Their food is amazing! We felt safe from food allergy stand point. They checked labels and control the ingredients going into the food. The food took a little longer than expected to come out, and not everything hit the table at the same time, so a few of us were eating while others were still waiting. Not the end of the world, but it's always nicer when everyone gets to dig in together. Now for the good part...the food was definitely worth talking about. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I don't think anyone at the table had a bad meal, so major props to the kitchen. The only thing that really held this visit back was the service. Our server started off really pleasant, but as the night went on she became less attentive and seemed a little frustrated. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for things while she seemed much more engaged with her other tables. By the time we were ready to pay, she was crouched down on her phone and looked a little annoyed that she had to stop what she was doing to cash us out. We all have off days, so I'm hoping that's all it was. We actually rated the experience a 7.5/10 while we were sitting there, and for us that's a solid score because we're pretty tough critics. The food absolutely carried the night. Unfortunately, the service knocked it down a bit. We all work in the restaurant industry ourselves, so we're usually the first people to give grace because we know how chaotic a shift can get. I'd definitely come back for the food and hope we just caught our server on an off night

I liked how much food you got and how you had a few options to choose from. Food: * pineapple passion mojito - 5/5 absolutely DELICIOUS. It was a perfect drink to have with dinner. It was light and refreshing with just enough sweetness. * chicken and pork bao - 4/5 super yummy! I actually liked the pork more than the chicken. It was almost like a buttery taste. It was soft and the meat just fell apart. The chicken was good too but was more on the tough side, probably because it was fried. * spicy beef ramen - 5/5 I will absolutely be back to get this again. Just the right level of spice. All the ingredients were fresh, well made, and delicious. It's the type of food that you can't help eating more of even though you're beyond full. * crispy chicken ramen - 3.5/5 This was still a good choice! I loved the chicken in it. I think this is a very safe choice for anyone who might be on the more picky side. The broth was good but not spicy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! My husband and I have been a takeout customer of Eiwa many times over years. For our visits, the cook quickly cooked our foods, and the hostess and waiter very promptly and courteously served us. Here are my reviews for our foods: Crab cheese wonton - 4.5 stars - The wonton wrappers were crispy, and they were filled with cream cheese and some crab meat and seasonings. These wontons tasted similar to other restaurants' wontons. Miso soup - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this miso soup, and he described it as "good." Vegetable spring rolls - 4.5 stars - These spring rolls were a little oily but tasted very good. Chicken egg rolls - 4 stars - My husband ate these egg rolls, and he seemed to enjoy them. Pork gyoza - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of six pieces of potstickers that were filled with a good amount of ground pork and some vegetables. On the side was a spicy sauce. Bao buns - 4.5 stars - I ordered the spiced beef, and I liked it. Other available flavors include chicken and pork. Shrimp tempura platter with kabocha squash and sweet potato - 4.5 stars - The shrimps, squash, and sweet potatoes were very fresh, and their tempura batter was crispy. Okonomiyaki - 4.5 stars - Several flavorful pancakes contained seafood and zucchini, and they were topped with sauce, mayonnaise, and bonito flakes. Chicken Katsudon - 5 stars - The chicken meat was large and juicy, and its panko breading was crispy. Tonkotsu ramen - 5 stars - My husband has repeatedly ordered this flavor of ramen. This ramen contained pork belly, noodles, spinach, mushroom, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and egg. My husband chose to purchase extra noodles. He said that this ramen tasted "really good", "delicious," and like a "higher quality." Spicy miso ramen - 4.5 stars - I had asked for some spice, but this ramen tasted a little milder than I had expected. I assume that the cook can make it spicier for other people. Ingredients were pork, bean sprouts, seaweed, corn, scallion, and egg, and I liked the flavors. Vegetarian ramen - 5 stars - This ramen was very flavorful, despite not containing meats and being made at my preferred "not spicy" level. Creamy curry vegetable soup - 4.5 stars - This curry soup was moderately spicy and contained a small amount of vegetables. Shoyu ramen - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this ramen two times. He liked the flavors. He described the first bowl as "oily" but said that the second bowl was better. Niku udon - 5 stars - The udon noodles were nicely chewy. The broth, beef, and onion were flavorful. Tan-tan ramen - 5 stars - This ramen soup was moderately spicy, and it was filled with perfectly cooked noodles, ground chicken, and vegetables. Thai curry ramen - 5 stars - This ramen had a nice balance of moderate spice and sweetness. It also had good noodles and vegetables. Sesame chicken - 4.5 stars - Eiwa expanded their menu to include some other types of Asian cuisines. This sesame chicken had large chunks of chicken with juicy meat, crispy breading, and a flavorful sauce. On the side was white rice that was perfectly steamed. General Tso's chicken - 4.5 stars (average of my 4 stars and my husband's 5 stars) - This General Tso's did NOT taste spicy at all. My husband who strongly dislikes spices described this chicken as "delicious." Pad see-ew - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree. The noodles, broccoli, soy sauce, and choice of protein of chicken tasted very good. Pad Thai - 4.5 stars - The noodles were cooked well, and I liked the flavors of the sauce, vegetables, and tofu. (It may be ordered with animal proteins.) Spicy Salmon Roll - 4.5 stars - This roll was smaller than I had expected, but I really liked its flavors. Salmon-avocado sushi roll - 5 stars - I feel so thankful that Eiwa added sushi to their menu! This sushi roll contained very fresh ingredients and tasted very good. PGH roll - 4.5 stars - This maki roll contained shrimp, and I liked the flavors. Tuna-avocado roll - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this maki roll, and he seemed to enjoy it. Spicy tuna roll - 4.5 stars - This tuna sushi was fresh and moderately spicy. Rainbow roll - 4.5 stars - A California roll was topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and cooked shrimp. It tasted slightly spicy. Taiyaki - 4.5 stars - This taiyaki contained red-bean paste, and it was more fried and oily than what I ate in Japan, but I still liked it. Mango boba milk - 5 stars - This bubble tea was a large size and tasted delicious. My husband has ordered it multiple times and really likes it. Strawberry boba milk - 5 stars - I enjoyed the strawberry flavor of this beverage, and I thought that the amount of boba was perfect.

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

The kimchi pancake had great texture and flavor and the sauce that was brought out with it was tasty as well. The kimchi ramen (my sister got it mild, as she doesn't like much spice) was flavorful and filling. The Japchaebob (clear noodles with various vegetables) was SO GOOD...I devoured the whole plate.
