Great Carryout spot that you could dine in if you wanted but it's definitely not necessary. We have been to Eddie Leonard's many times and this one doesn't disappoint. Our order was cooked quickly and the food came out hot. The general Tsos chicken came out ready to eat and delicious. The wings were also really good. Get the fried rice to top it off. Service is quick and easy and we had little to no wait. The place isn't really made to sit down and eat but you could if you wanted to. We decided to take out instead and enjoyed our meal at home. I saw Eddie Leonards original sub I went in and ordered an Italian cold cut with tomatoes provolone cheese and raw onions oops they forgot all that it was the absolute worst Eddie Leonards original sub shop sub that I've ever had I would never go back I throw it in the garbage. I drove all the way home 67 mile thinking of my great sandwich I was going to have, oh and they wanted me to bring it back to get a refund!!! Horrible horrible horrible don't waste the itsy-bitsy amount of money they charge for this thing. And I did question with the price being so low but I thought no it's Eddie Leonards.... By far, the BEST Chinese food in the area! I always say that you can tell how good the food will be by the Wanton soup, and it was delicious! That's a no-fail comparison if you want to know how good the food is at a place. Wanton soup, just how I like it with a lot of wantons and pork shavings in the broth (most places in MD never put the pork shavings and I grew up in Philly where they always have them) Also lots of fresh green onion. I enjoy the fish filet sub (it's made with fried whiting) with lettuce, tomatoes, sautéed onions, tartar sauce, American cheese, and hot peppers. It's probably one of my favorite carryout fish sandwiches and is available in a 6 inch size stuffed to the brim with fish and toppings, with French fries and a bottled beverage for $6.99... Ate here over the summer... I nearly choked throwing up the food... My family and I had been eating here for about 6 years... I'm a firm believer of ordering things I know so we always ordered the shrimp and broccoli in white sauce and have never had any issues with the food... That is until then... I went in and the place was HUGE, spacious enough to sit down comfortably to have a meal. Why 5 stars? Second time ordering their cheesesteak and my last. My first visit produced a great, flavorful and juicy cheesesteak. Not this time! I believe that they pre-cook their steak and re-heat it upon ordering. The cheesesteak was extremely dry, as was the hard subroll. How do you get a "freshly" cooked cheesesteak with no juice or grease on the subroll? That is not fresh. My wife's cheesesteak was so lacking of steak, that she made 1/2 of a sub out of a whole. Ordered the simplest meal again unlike my friends. I had combo rice...gross. eggrolls.. flavorless. Friends decided to be more adventurous and ordered from their soul food section. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken with no green peppers. They gave me Chicken and Broccoli and just tossed peanuts on top. While the flavors were fine, it was NOT Kung Pao Chicken, by my definition. Alright....I admit I like it. I usually get soul food. Fried pork chops, greens, yams, potato salad also sometimes wings with mumbo sauce. I like it.
