Went up to the cashier and told her that I was going to do the buffet. She said, "Yes",and continued talking to her coworker, so I went to serve myself and when I asked for a fork, the lady told me I had to pay before. Um, OK. First time there, and I did go to them, but since she ignored me, I thought I just had to sit. Here's an idea, if all you do is charge people for dining, maybe pay attention when they go up to you to tell you that they're dining and charge them so they can do that. Anyway, the variety of food is great, however, the taste was not too good. The steak, which I didn't serve myself, was incredibly dry. You could tell from just looking at it. It was so dry, you couldn't cut it. The food in general was pretty bad. All of it was overcooked and just sitting there, even though the place was full of people. The flavors were off. Yes, they had tons of seafood, several soups although my favorite which is wonton, was not good. The potstickers were also not good. The flavor was off again. I would say that the best they had was their noodles (lo-mein) and their ice-cream cones. I didn't try the cakes, which they had several but I don't like cake. However, maybe people who like cake would appreciate them. It is very cheap. I wasn't disappointed because I wasn't expecting much to begin with. This is a standard Chinese buffet. No real standouts everything is on the bland side. The all you can eat dinner is around $18 with tax. They're a little bit militant with the forks and I didn't find it to be the cleanliest. Also, the variety is not as amazing as compared to some other Chinese buffets I've been to. Parking is in the lot and there's plenty of it for free. Service is fine. No major issues. Bathroom is clean. They have a made to order stir fry station which I didn't partake in. Mainly because of time constraints. But if that's your jam you should try it out. Also they have soft serve ice cream but only one flavor because the machine was broken. read more

We had a family and friends meal. It was kinda middle of the day so I wasn't expecting much on quality or service but I was mistaken. All of the food that I tried was fresh, even the sugar rolls which for some reason are always tough at other places. I don't know that I had a favorite but I did have more than my share of wings and mussels. The sweet tea was really good. I wish they left a pitcher with me. I did enjoy the string beans. It was the only vegetable that I ate. I didn't want to fill up on healthy stuff. I eat fast and I think that allows me to eat so much before I go home and fall into a food coma. Because of that, I was only able to snap a photo of #1 & #4. I was in too deep to photograph 2 & 3. Service was really good and they kept up with all of the drink request even with us filling up 3 tables and it was only 2 ppl. Granted they only had to provide drinks but we were drinking like it was an open bar for 1hr. If you have a group and want buffet setup, I would suggest this place. For a buffet style, there were a wide variety of choices. Mostly Asian dishes, a variety of seafood (shrimp, crawfish, octopus, crab balls, fried flounder) and a few American staples (Pizza, french fries, chicken nuggets) Sweet fried Plantain, Crab Rangoon, along with a few other typical dishes that were buffet-bland (Ham, ribs, a very dry roast). There was a Hibachi station (Didn't try it this time). Most of what I tried was still fairly warm but there were a few that were cold by the time I got back to my table. For the price ($16.99/person) and a 2-hour time limit, I wouldn't be opposed to going back to try some other things on the buffet. From the outside it looks plain. A very Asian theme on the inside but it was arranged as more of a High School cafeteria than anything else. The one thing that I had to keep going back for were the sugar rolls. Those were so good and with my not having eaten all day due to being occupied with other things, I needed to put sugar in my system before I had a Diabetic crash. read more

We patronized this buffet when it first came to the area some years ago. The food was good back then, the restaurant was clean and the service was great. Fast forward to this past Sunday and everything was still the same...except the food. While they never let the trays of food go empty, it's as tho the food they add to the dwindling dishes to refresh, aren't in fact fresh. It seems like they're all prepared in advance and sit. It could be me, i'm anal about being served piping hot food, but for none of the food to be hot..it's cause for concern. To add to that, none of the Chinese based dishes tasted authentic. Chicken tasted artificial as did anything with beef. The hot bar with all the appetizers and fried food was plentiful, but again, the temperature of them gave me pause..plus when I bit into the fried chicken wings there was a yellow hue..it could be from a mustard brine or egg wash but I shouldn't see that. Lastly, the condiment station is so confusing. There's a table with multiple jugs of condiments, some labeled, some not. Not to mention they all look very questionable. I tried the mumbo sauce and it was clearly watered down. My mom and daughter had ketchup, and they said it tasted weird. In fact, the little she had, gave my mom food poisoning. Those condiments aren't rotated out enough clearly. The only thing decent was the food made to order in the Habachi area and even still the ingredients and sauces and such are just too open and exposed with no coverings. I wanted to give this place another try since we hadn't been in a while and had a good first experience, however, never again. It's a buffet and I've come not to expect much from them. This place wasn't bad. I used to come here when I lived here. We got off the road and wanted Chinese food and remembered this spot. Wide selection of food and they offer hibachi. I notice they now have seafood bags. We paid $65 for 2 adults and 2 kids (11&14) and that included drinks. This wouldn't be my first choice for a great meal, but definitely a quick meal. I'm picky in my eating( so I stuck to chicken and broccoli and teriyaki chicken. Walked through the doors at 2:59pm and as I approach the register she tells me the dinner price. So as I'm talking to her, it turns 3:00pm and she says it no longer lunch and dinner starts at 3. I have been patronizing this Chinese buffet for quite some time now, and it's the best one in Waldorf. The buffet line is constantly replenished, and cleanliness is always maintained. Great variety of foods, including the usual favorites, i.e., general tao chicken, beef broccoli, shrimp, clam, fried fish, etc. Also, they have three types of soup: wonton, hot & sour, and clam chowder. The dessert line exceeded my expectations with many cakes, fruits, and soft served ice cream. The server is attentive in refilling drinks and clearing the tables. With today's inflation, i have to say that this Chinese buffet has been the best one I have been to in many years. Overall, I highly recommend this place. So finally had time to come back and sit and I think we came in with higher expectations then what we got.... My child thought they offered sushi but that must have changed over time. Positives: extremely friendly staff, and the option to have cooked food you pick raw done for you by the plate. Some items are very tasty and worth getting - their kimchi is very good, green beans and coconut shrimp were also some other favs. Negatives: food seems to sit out too long - very dried out and should be replaced more often unfortunately. Went to dine in at this buffet for the first time. The restaurant looked very clean and staff was nice. I checked out the price menu before coming in and found out that it was outdated, but the current price is still not too expensive. They have a pretty good selection of seafood: crawfish, flounder, crabs, clams. Their raw oysters looked very fresh, and clams were huge. I thought their seafood in general was under-seasoned, but their sautéed veggies were good! Desserts are delicious. The only thing that I wasn't impressed was soup. I don't think I'll dine here regularly, but once in a while I could see myself coming back. read more

Visited the restaurant on Father's Day and again during the week for lunch. the crab legs, blue crabs and fried shrimp were on the weekend buffet but not available at lunch time. 12/04/2022 I came for the blue crabs. They had my favorite (females). The crabs were meaty and tasty. I also enjoyed the clams. They say they're having crab legs on the buffet on Christmas day. I dont feel like cooking after all the cooking on Thanksgiving so I'm going to trust them on Christmas day. I'm expecting fresh food and crab legs. Sure hope they dont disappoint me. read more

So this review is loooong over do. I went here twice and the second time it was for my sisters surprise baby shower. The staff was excellent! I called about three months in advance to setup everything. On the day of the shower I arried just as they opened and they allowed me to decorate a section in their vast seating with baby shower decor. I was also allowed to bring a cake. I had one waitress that that tended to all my party guest needs. Other staff did help too, they kept our drinks full, tables clean, and were just very nice. My sister didn't know about this place and she lives only a short distance away. (now she frequents this place all the time!) The food was great, and I would recommend going here and having parties here. This is a must stop, if you are in Waldorf read more

Nice selection of seafood, soups, fried items, Asian stir frys, rice and noddles and etc. They had sushi and a salad bar as well. The ice cream and dessert bar was also a hit!! Only negative is although they have a carry out option, there is no separate line to weigh food, pay and go. You have to wait till all those who are going to be seated pay before you can pay and leave. I happen to go during a rush and waited a good 8-10min.
