Dr. Siman is extremely arrogant and only cares about charging patients insane non-refundable consults. I went in with what I thought was severe TMJ. My pain was so bad I couldn't think straight. Then one of his nurses noticed that while he had me on the stim, that I was developing what looked like shingles. He told her that she didn't know what she was talking about and rudely shut her down. Well turns out I had severe shingles, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, and had to go to the emergency room. He said that if I had shingles, I'd be in extreme pain. I told him that I was in extreme pain. I first heard of Dr. Siman via Dennis Prager's radio program on AM870. Never thought much of it: I didn't suffer from TMJ! As the years went by, my husband began claiming that his sleep was disturbed repeatedly due to my snoring. At first, I didn't believe him. Then I noticed that my sleep/alarm clock app was registering snoring....MY snoring! And as years went by, the amount of time spent snoring each night increased. I anticipated the treatment plan to be expensive...and it was/is, though it definitely was MUCH more expensive than I had originally imagined. I was committed to doing something, but let him know that what I would end up doing depended entirely upon the overall cost and payment of the treatment. He called in his office manager, Helen, to discuss those details/options while he tended to another patient. Helen was professional AND compassionate: answering questions, offering options/solutions, whilst being understanding of the initial sticker shock. She was upfront with me that they do not bill insurance on patients' behalf, but provide a "super bill" which clients have subsequently submitted to their insurance. She went on to say few clients have successfully had their insurance cover Dr. Siman's treatment. I appreciated her candor and honesty--she did NOT, in any way, lead me to believe or hope for reimbursement from my insurance company. With that information in mind, I was able to make an informed decision about my treatment. I have followed the course of treatment, and my snoring has been eliminated in just a few months' time (as long as I wear my mouth appliances--even if I forget, I now hardly snore at all, because my jaw has successfully been realigned). I came to see Dr. Siman about two months ago. I have had issues with getting restful sleep my entire life. I have never had TMJ (that I was aware of), but I absolutely was dealing with fatigue on a daily basis. I would be in danger of dozing while sitting in stop-and-go traffic. I could not sit still and watch TV in the evenings without falling asleep. Making it to 9:30pm was impossible, even in my 20's. I have been seeing Dr. Siman for my TMJ treatment since 2023. I came in with pretty severe TMJ pain and other symptoms that were pretty much making my life miserable. After starting treatment with Dr. Siman, I felt my symptoms noticeably improved in the first few weeks and almost have completely resolved. I had multiple consultations prior to seeing Dr. Siman with other dentists and so-called "TMJ specialist". I saw chiropractors, neurologist, physical therapist, had acupuncture, Botox, and took tons of pills and medications with no results. Not to mention the thousands of dollars I spent. I had multiple night guards and different appliances made by Different doctors and dentists that ended up in the corner of my dresser. A friend recommended that I consult with Dr. Siman. It was the phone call that changed my life. The consultation was long about 2 to 3 hours. They took a complementary CT scan. Dr. Siman interviewed me and went over all of my history and concerns. Unlike other doctors that only looked at me, what he did that was different that no other doctor had done before, he hooked me up to a computer that looked like an EKG machine that doctors use to measure your heart.
