Eddies well & pump has always been there for me and my neighbors in my neighborhood. Very good service competitive prices.

We first called Eddies back in December 2022 and had them replace our well pump. We have experienced air in the pipes and banging pipe's since. We recently called them to come out because the well should be under warranty still and the sounds were getting worse. We scheduled an appointment I took the day off of work and they never showed up. I called the office after several hours after the appointment time to see if there was any updates. They told me his truck broke down and would need to reschedule. The second time the guy shows up but early and as he was coming back up the street from my house still before our scheduled time i flicked my lights at him he stopped next to me then gunned it down the road we turned around to try and catch up to him but he was speeding away. We called the office who called the technician and told us his wife went into labor and said he never got out of the car but that was a lie because he left a business card shoved in my door. His office asked to reschedule for another day. I got a friend who worked for a well company to come a few days later and come to find out the pump was placed by Eddies 400ft down at least 100ft unnecessary. The rope that was supposed to be tied to the well pump was never secured to it but left loose 6-8 inches above where it should have been tied. The top of the well was marked with a 3/4 size well pump but the warranty was for a 1/2 size pump far too small for a 400 ft depth that should have been a 3/4 to 1 size. The foot valve was not replaced by Eddies when they put the new well in but the old one used. You could tell it was retaped because they left a cut mark on it when they removed the old tape and they put putty (pipe dough) over the top of the teflon tape which is not submergible, it has oils in it that can cause contamination and is against U.S regulation because of being a health violation. This foot valve was bad and stayed open constantly. We had to purchase a new well pump and had it installed. The warranty given to me was printed on 2020 and the pump warranty expired in 2022. So the warranty was already expired the say they put it in. Will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them. read more

My well pump was leaking very badly and turning off, failing to send water to my house. I called a couple of plumbers, one gave a $700.00 quote. Upon calling Hillsborough Plumbing, a very nice lady told me I needed to call Eddie's Well & Pump Service. I called and spoke to a very nice young man named Ethan. This was probably noontime. Ethan told me they would be here to check out my pump today. In hardly anytime at all, they were here. Not only did Ethan come with two other workers, the OWNER of the company, Eddie, also came to my house with them to help me with this problem! He is an extremely nice and friendly man.. I have never met a more nice, courteous, and professional group in my life. They were more than reasonable in price. In no time, they had my well pump repaired with new material, and asked me to call them again if I ever had anymore well or pump problems. I highly recommend this company! Eddie and his crew came to our rescue after we lost pressure from the well. I called my plumber and he said it was our well. Eddie came out the very same day and diagnosed a leak somewhere in the system. He spent an hour here and then recommended a leak detector service. The leak guy found the leak and Eddie came back and fixed the leak. We now have full pressure again. These guys like what they do and they do it well. I had a previously self-installed well-pump failure and they were out here in Cedar Grove the next day switching it out. Eddie's heart is in the business. He likes to take the jobs that help people out of a jam, instead of the big corporate construction jobs. He's a good man, and the workmanship was high quality. His son took the time to show me what caused my pump to fail and explain the solution in detail. There was no price gouging, and the pump was a much higher quality part than the one I had put in myself. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Got Eddie's name as a referral. Called him at 7:30 at night and told him we had no water and needed help with a water handler replacement under the house. Came the very next morning. Installed the water handler and that didn't solve our problem. Diagnosed that the well pump was bad, installed a new one...all in a few short hours. We are very pleased with excellent service they provided and also their very reasonable prices.
