    My my my I can't say it enough how pleased I am from the service provided by Joseph Rose Plumbing, specially Ethan! He really made the entire process from start to finish east to follow and helped provide tips and tricks to make the life of my water heater last longer. He also helped me with the lining beneath the water heater to prevent water from seeping into my walls. Back story: my old water heater started leaking and I noticed that there was also mold starting to grow around my water heater on the wall. I was in a panic because I didn't know how I could take care of all the tasks at once but Ethan from Joseph Plumbing was able to get the job done and now I'm a happy camper with some hot water just in time for the season. Looking forward to this new chapter with my newly installed water heater I highly recommend Joseph Rose Plumbing, trust me when I say you will be so happy. They definitely have future service with me.

The city of Raleigh refuses to check their water meter or replace it without an invoice from a plumber. Our water bill was higher than usual the last few months. I did a toilet leak test and found no leaks. Nothing else on the property showed a leak. I called the water department and they were less than helpful. Despite our bill going DOWN after turning ON our sprinkler system, they insisted there was a leak. Matthew's Plumbing sent two guys out who listened to the story, checked the meter as I did, checked the crawl space (no leaks) and listened to me complain about the water department. I was expecting to pay $200+, instead they only charged me $75. These people are honest. I was upset enough that I would have paid the $200 or more had they asked me to do so. Today's visit is why I'll keep doing business with them.

    I discovered a pinhole leak in an old copper pipe on a Friday night at 8 pm. I immediately shut…read moreoff the water to the house, cut the power to the water heater (the pipe feeds the heater) and drained the heater. All that needed to be done was cut out the bad section of pipe and replace it. The heater itself was fine and did not come into play. I found Acme online and contacted them. They called back Monday, arrived at 3:09, showed me an estimate of $303.11, which I thought was extremely high for the work required but agreed to. They admitted that "most" of it was labor (and didn't give a breakdown). It was labeled TOTAL with no other information on the tablet I was asked to sign. Here's the breakdown of what I was actually charged: $283.94 Repair 39.00 "All Day" service fee 21.80 taxes $344.74 "real" total, not the other "total". Note that there is no breakdown of labor and materials on the invoice itself either. They were gone by 4:09. I was shocked to find later that they'd added their $39 "service call" in addition to over $300 for what should have been 15 minutes' work even for one person, let alone two grown men. (See pictures.) I contacted them two days ago asking if they could waive the fee, and they have not responded. Do yourselves a favor and find a plumber who charges for his/her time and materials instead of by what some "app" says.

To be seated in one's downstairs working on a Sunday and think that someone was upstairs showering, only to find that a toilet, without even being flushed, decided to fail and pour water through the downstairs ceiling, lights and air vents, well, let's just say, it was a hair raising Sunday. After screaming, turning off the water, and emptying an entire linen closet of towels to manage the flood, I picked up the phone and went down the list on google to find help. Admittedly, Jordan's plumbing was the first I called, but when I got a voicemail, I continued down the list. On my next call, and after speaking with a gentleman about the issue (who I maintain I had awakened from sleep), I was not satisfied. He also stated, "it would be tomorrow" before they could come out, but at that point, I had three huge yellow (fish aquarium) buckets collecting water below, watching my ceiling in such decline, and was looking for immediate help. Shortly after the gentleman and I hung up the phone, the SWEETEST lady called me back. She was in transit to church, but after being able to return a missed call, she wanted to make sure I knew that they could assist me. Her name was Rita, and she quite frankly is what initially sold me on utilizing this company. She did absolutely everything she could to calm me, reassure me, and while they could not make it to me on Sunday at a time me and Mr Jordan were mutually available, she made sure I felt confident that they could get the job done. I felt, and communicated to her, that I believed in Divine intervention, and I just knew they were the right company. In fact, so much so, I would cancel the previous work order from the first company. Today, even more promptly than I expected, I was greeted at my front door by one of the NICEST technicians, Demarkus. Let me tell you, from the moment he entered, until the moment he left, I actually felt assured that this was the right person to assist with the job at hand. The lady of the house also agreed. Demarkus assessed the situation, found what he believed to be the issue, and then made recommendations for repair while answering 10000 questions from said, lady of the house, and whom uses said possessed bathroom toilet. We agreed to move forward with the work from Jordan Plumbing even though said lady of the house can fix anything, including cars. We did so for several reasons, one being that we ensured we had the appropriate documentation for homeowners, the other being, and mostly because the service was so dang good! I know this was a long post, but sometimes understanding the full story, others can appreciate the level of services offered. Most importantly, the work that we had done was reasonably priced, even though I thought my eyes would flood like the ceiling the day before from cost of draining my wallet like that toilet drained the day before. While no one wants to pay for things like this, I am grateful that at the very least, the service alone was worth the price to pay to repair. SERVICE IS SO IMPORTANT! THE MOST IMPORTANT! They excelled on every level for service. I recommend that if you have something go wrong in your home, or you need any plumbing assistance that you contact Jordan Plumbing and Maintenance. Seriously, you will not be disappointed in the level of care they take in assuring you get through the crises. If you are anyone at Jordan Plumbing, and reading this - THANK YOU!

The…read moreoriginal owner of the house did not pipe it up correctly and when I went to replace the drain the piping broke. I called them and they sent someone out the next day. The person that was sent looked at and tried to fix the issue but did not have the right tools. So he indicated that they would send someone else out. Two days later the next technician came out and indicated that I needed some specialty parts ordered and that he would order the parts and install them on his next visit. During the next visit two new technicians came out and indicated that a specialty part was needed. So I told them thats what the last technician indicated as well and to check to see if the parts were ordered. Turns out the parts were not ordered. So the two new technicians ordered the new part and when it arrived the day later they went to install it. This fixed a majority of the leaks but there was a smaller leak an the part that was not replaced. So i called and they sent another technician out (5 total different technicians). He indicated that it was not leaking from the parts that were replaced and that would not be covered by the exiting quote. I said this was ok and that I wanted to have the smaller leak fixed regardless since my expectation is that there are 0 leaks under my house. He told me that the 2 technicians that installed the fix for the major leak would be sent out to assess the situation. Well I got a call from the manager this morning that they would not be fixing the smaller leak and that the technicians would not be coming to my house anymore to fix additional leaks. Additionally, the manager indicated that I did not want to pay to have the leaks addressed which is a straight up lie. They told me "Go look somewhere else to get your leak addressed". So now I am out 900 and still have a leak in my crawl space under my tub and a company that does not want to fix the issue I called about. This all took place over two weeks and has been extremely frustrating. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR ISSUES RESOLVED!

    Buyer Beware! I wanted to give a word of warning about Streamline Services HVAC, Plumbing and…read moreElectric. If you have had good experiences with them, that's great. We however did not. They offered us a free service contract since my husband was in the military. The first technician came and did a maintenance inspection on our heating and air conditioning. He found a few things and gave us some recommendations and prices. A few days later we turned the heat on and it would not work, so we placed another call. They sent another technician who said the prior technician neglected to turn the gas back on after his inspection. He proceeded to do another inspection and told us we had cracks in our heat exchanger and could have potentially extremely dangerous carbon monoxide leaks. Since this is such a hazard, it's a mystery why the first technician did not discover this as one would think this would be a critical part of any furnace inspection. He then scheduled a sales person to come and give us pricing on replacing the furnace and/or air conditioning units. He also turned off the gas and said it was a safety hazard to turn it back on and we should do it at our own risk. After meeting with the sales person, we were given prices to replace our equipment, which was the best option according to them. I said we were going away and would not make a decision until we returned. They called a few times to pressure us into a decision even offering another $1,000 off if they could come that week. Since this was a huge expense which we were not anticipating, I wanted to get a second opinion. I had 2 different technicians inspect the furnace. According to them, they saw no cracks in the heat exchanger, and one technician also tested for carbon monoxide while the furnace was running. The meter registered ZERO carbon monoxide. One technician even gave us a carbon monoxide detector to place outside the room for our peace of mind even though we have them throughout our home. First of all, if the Streamline technician was so concerned about our apparent safety, why didn't he test for carbon monoxide, which is a very simple step to take. Secondly, both me and my daughter contacted Streamline Services to speak to the owner or manager to hear their side. The manager spoke to my daughter who said she would talk to the technicians and contact me. We have not heard back from her even after calling a number of times. If they were positive about their findings and in order to avoid any issues, the professional thing to do would be to call the customer back. This leads me to believe their findings are incorrect, since I can come to no other conclusion. We are senior citizens and do not appreciate Streamline Services, or anyone else for that matter causing panic and fear to make a sale. Our grandchildren occasionally stay here and I could not rest knowing we had this potential hazard in our home. If you do contract with them and get prices for expensive repairs or new equipment, please get a second opinion.
