Food was good for breakfast. Prices were higher. Service a little slow. Place was clean.

They close at 2 pm. Please update your listing and your phone message. I have tried to go twice before a local told me that they close at 2

As we entered the first thing you see is the whimsical decor that lends itself to just chilling out. Art for sale on the walls and a singer that was rocking out and a crowd was vibing. We were greeted rapidly and met by a really nice lady that took our orders. I ordered the Blood Bag is their riff on a red sangria in a prop blood bag. My friends ordered Honest Abe (Maple Whiskey Old Fashioned), Queen B (Honey Pear Bees Knees), Taste of Summer (gin and tonic), a NA beer and earl grey tea. They have a few baked goods and other items to snack on. On the second round we all tried each other's drink and they were all delicious. I have to say I'm impressed I didn't miss the alcohol at all.

Truly a treat for anyone experimenting with a sober lifestyle or even if you just want a pretty drink without the ugly hangover. I also love that they have a full-service coffee bar! It's so nice having somewhere that's open late that isn't an actual bar, so every one of every age can have a safe space to hang out after 8pm (when everything else closes). PS - they have an espresso martini (that can even be made decaf!) that will ruin other espresso martinis for you!

This was one of the worst examples of customer service I've ever seen…read more My friend and I decided to try to place out and she ordered one of their rolled gelatos, and it looked like a completely different product. They refused to provide a refund or replace the order with something else. The only English speaking lady claimed there was no manager in the building, and later claimed she was the manager. She claimed that if she gave my friend a refund, she would get fired, and resulted in police needing to be contacted. I order a taiyaki and it was burnt and overcooked. Had to wait +30 mins. Italian soda was also 90% ice. DO NOT COME HERE. Ambiance was meh.

Wish all food was presented at the same time, and that we got our drinks first. It was crazy how our drinks were the last to come out. The brown boba in the Oreo cheesecake tasted weird. And the texture was more in a gross jelly way than what I'm used to. Cheesecake Oreos flavor was a bit lacking in my opinion DRINKS ARE SUPER OVER PRICED FOR THE AMOUNT UR GETTING Workers were nice - no complaints Seating should be improved. Should have cushioning and better table and chair space. The bleacher set up and the crazy small stools and tables is not very comfortable, especially comfortable to look at.

The vanilla cupcake had grainy frosting where the sugar had not been properly creamed into the butter or fat and it was too sweet. It actually made me cough from how the sugar hit the back of my throat. The cake was very light, but nothing tasted like vanilla. It tasted like sugar and air. There was also entirely too much frosting for the density and size of the cupcake, and I say that as a person who usually loves frosting. The vanilla cupcake was both soft /falling apart and slightly overcooked at the same time. The red velvet was more balanced in flavor. However, it had the same sugary buttercream as the vanilla instead of the traditional cream cheese that one would expect with a red velvet cake and that frosting made it just too sugary to eat. The texture of the red velvet cupcake was better than the vanilla, though a bit too dry. I'm not sure what the people who gave this high reviews eight or what their exposure to food is, but this definitely did not do it for us.

I will NEVER go back to this establishment!!! I will have Walmart cupcakes at my next birthday before I come back here!!!

What arrived instead was a…read morewarm, fragrant testament to restraint--balanced spices, just enough milk, and a whisper of quiet joy. I sat back with K.W. in one of the window-side chairs, letting the mug steam gently into the late-morning light, and took in the interior. It's the kind of place that rewards attention: reclaimed wood, soft colors, seating that invites rather than insists. This was not an Instagram café--it was a Christian coffee shop. And I mean that as praise. I don't just mean it had a verse on the wall or worship music humming faintly behind the grinder. I mean the place carried a spirit of care. You could feel it in the details, the warmth of the baristas, and--most of all--in the baby shower happening quietly in the side room. From what I could tell, it was all women--close family friends of the expectant mother--gathered in soft tones, with gifts, cake, and affection flowing. There were balloons. Laughter. Maybe a tear or two, but the joyful kind. I thought about the holiness of childhood, the ridiculous courage of parenting, and the spiritual stubbornness it takes to keep loving in public. There are many ways to do Christianity poorly. But when it holds space for reflection, for the protection of the vulnerable--children, the poor, the disabled--it becomes something rare and tender. Guest House feels like one of those places where such values are quietly lived out, without announcement or ego. I'll be back. For the chai. For the ambience. But mostly to support a place that, in its own gentle way, remembers what a gift life is.
