My experience at Eddy Chiropractic was fine. The staff was nice and helpful. They were able to get me in on the same day I made the call to make an appointment, which was amazing. I visited the clinic for severe lower back pain that had been bothering me for several days. I had visited other chiropractors in the past for the same issue, and they had examined my back and spine to determine the cause of the pain. However, during my visit to Dr. Eddy, I felt that he only performed a routine adjustment on my neck and back. After the adjustment, I told him that my lower back was still achy, but instead of offering any further examination or treatment, he suggested that I try a machine that applied heat and rolling pressure to my entire back. During my visit to Eddy Chiropractic, I felt that Dr. Eddy was trying to sell me additional services and add-ons, such as a $10 upgrade for the machine he had me on, massages, a "prescribed" seat cushion for $50, etc. He also recommended a 4-week plan with two visits per week. This made me feel like he was more focused on selling services rather than trying to give me more immediate solutions. As a result, I left the office feeling uneasy. Two days later I did not feel any improvement on my back, so I decided to visit another chiropractor. The other chiropractor took the time to thoroughly examine my back and pointed out areas potentially causing my pain and discomfort. He started by providing therapy with some gel and a machine, as well as other adjustments that targeted the lower back where my pain was coming from. By the end of my visit, my back felt great. Both of my sons in football, rushed to Dr. Eddy, who would stop their vomiting full blown migraines immediately. Truly a God send. My husband has 27 years as a stuntman and football player. He had been to many others before, but finds his best treatment with the Eddys. Leading up to today's trip back for me... I had a life changing accident in about 1988, went to other chiropractors for 6 mos who did nothing but make me worse, until I finally had major neck and back surgeries. The doctor and staff are 100% professional and very nice. I ended up getting 30 minute massage (additional fee) after the doctors recommendation of seeing him 3x a week. I went in initially because I've been feeling tingling down my arm. I was advised how tight my shoulders and neck were (I knew this and figured it was the reason) and that my nerves to my arm were being pinched. Again super nice doctor. My issue really is that insurance doesn't pick up enough! I hate finding a spot that accepts insurance and then I get slammed with Deductible fees instead of CoPay. Its then the attitude slips. I go in thinking I'm going to pay a $40 co pay and walked out paying over $100. The guy at the front was like, Oh you have a deductible of $500, that'll be reached in no time. *Insert Blank starte* Yea of course, me paying $100+ a visit out of pocket, 3x a week! I'm 100% covered thereafter but then I think, does that mean I still have to pay that damn Copay 3x a week? Hell with that. The massage was so light. If you are use to getting massages, think of it as a Swedish. I usually need deep tissue and in this case where my nerves are pinched in beyond tight muscles, I was lost to what that hell soft touching me was going to do. And since its a medical office, its not relaxing, the lights are bright as hell, etc. Definitely not a massage environment. But the Masseuse was very nice and professional. I just know I can get a deep massage to where I feel it for $50 bucks for the hour. MAX. Im inclined to believe that this service/business is best for people who've suffered injury that need long term and slow healing. It was refreshing to hear the doctor confirm what I thought but I did not like coming out the pocket as much as I did for the services with insurance. read more

Not sure how good Dr Eddy or Shepler are since I never saw them in the hour I was waiting. Made an appointment for 430. (In full transparency I had to call at 410 to let them know I would be 5 minutes late). Showed up, signed in, sat down. And waited til 450 to be shown to an exam room. sat and waited for another 15 minutes til a tech came in to clarify my injury. Then crickets. At 538 I had had enough and let the front desk know I wasn't willing to wait any longer. At which point she says they are short a doctor. ummm...could you have given me a heads up an hour ago so I could make a decision to wait or not? Very unprofessional. Great massage therapists. My insurance is terrible and I needed treatment often, their rates are very reasonable and willing to work with me since I'm basically a cash patient. I live in another area but this is close to work which is convenient. They are always flexible with scheduling and if I need to change appointment. Only four stars, would give another half if possible, because as with any good dr there can be a wait time (depends on time of day), but I still find it well worth the wait. read more

Came in to Eddy Chiropractic as a referral from someone at work. My back was hurting consistently for 2 weeks and I was taking Excedrine every 6 hours. I finally went a meant with Dr. Eddy. I explained all my concerns, and he created a treatment plan that consisted of four visits. I have made three visits and have one visit pending at the end of this week. After my first visit, my (lower) back and neck felt better but there was still some pain. It was after the second treatment where the pain completely went away. Today was my 3rd visit, and I plan to complete the treatment to ensure all is okay. So I was recommended to come by a family member and I had called ahead to make my appointment and to be sure it was covered by my insurance and when I get there he asks where it hurts and what I was doing when when I started to ache,told him I lift and push heavy objects at work which I mentioned before and I just wanted a normal adjustment all of a sudden he doesn't wanna work on my back and told me being there would somehow cause a problem with my job I'm not on disability or collecting workers comp so I don't see what his problem was when I was there going personally and not because my job told me to I was using my personal insurance which it covered and was there because I wanted an adjustment complete waist of my time read more

Just left the office and was very disappointed. I didn't even get seen. My Doctor at Faceys made the Chiropractic referral. The insurance company sent me an authorization letter. When I called to schedule my appointment I informed the office about my referral and the authorization letter. They indicated that Facey normally does not allow their patients to go to their chiropractic office. So I called the phone number on the letter and they gave me the thumbs up that it would be OK and that I was covered. I called the office back and advise them of this and they were in a hurry to schedule my appointment. They even offered me a same day appointment. I scheduled an appointment for the next day at 11, showed up, filled out 5 pages of paperwork, in which half of the paperwork indicates that if the insurance does not pay for the services then I'm responsible for paying. Meanwhile, the receptionist is calling the insurance to verify my eligibility and is mumbling negative things under her breath. Says that everybody's passing the buck. She explains to the insurance company that they normally do not see Facey patients because they don't get paid. Hello I am sitting right across from you waiting still. I patiently sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes just hearing her complain and tell her coworker what her past experiences have been. So I get up and tell her how about you reschedule me when you guys have it figured out. Why would you be in a hurry to schedule my appointment? I explained my situation to you before scheduling my appointment. Why would you have me sign all these documents that say that I'm responsible if the office doesn't get paid by the insurance company? My daughter and I were referred to Dr. Phil for treatment of sprains/strains following a car accident in January. The entire staff is awesome, and I will surely recommend Eddy Chiropractic to everyone I know. Reception/Patty is super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating - we even received e-mail reminders of our appointments and were taken in early if possible. I am not only VERY impressed with Dr. Phil's medical knowledge, but I also think his social skills are amazing. He described what typically happens to the body during an accident, the manner in which to treat each condition, and what to expect as he was doing the adjustments and in the future. He patiently listened to our complaints, and showed genuine concern. He provided us with cervical pillows, ice packs, and demonstrated home/office exercises to do to strengthen and improve range of motion. Their masseuse Mirsa is also very talented with regard to deep tissue/Swedish massage techniques. While accidents are never pleasant, I am confident that we received the very best care available.
