Eddy's rates are really good, but his crew can be careless in terms of actually completing the job, not damaging other shrubs or garden beds, and how well they clean up. When I contacted him several times regarding my issues I did not receive any responses. Because he is so cheap I'd love to use him again, but that's offset by the job being only half done. Check that his crew did what it actually was supposed to do, and don't pay him until the job is actually complete. I am pretty sure that he does not carry the proper insurance - he doesn't provide a straight answer and I couldn't find any insurance on his website, so this leaves the home owner at risk. read more

Super impressed with speed on estimate and completion. Call back from initial call was nearly immediate probably less than 15 minutes. Visit to house to provide estimate within 2-3 hours. Less than 24 hours later , two large trees gone, stumps grounded and yard and any debris cleared. When we first moved we had a small crab apple tree removed by someone else. Excellent job! Prompt and professional! The crew arrived a few minutes early with a total of four trucks. They carefully removed each tree and finished by grinding each stump. These were not small trees and two of them were in between my home and my neighbor's property. This removal required very careful hands. I've had this business come out to remove a few trees, a couple times. The first time, they did a great job...hence why I called then back a second time. In June 2022, I had them come out to cut down 2 trees and grind the stumps/roots. While they were grinding, they cut the Xfinity line (I work from home, so I was without internet until Xfinity came and fixed the issue, a few days later). I didn't blame the tree guys because technically the Xfinity line should've been buried deeper, per their regulations. The guys stopped grinding, their owner didn't come back out for another couple weeks to pickup payment. I have texted the owner a couple times to find out when they are going to finish grinding the stumps, and he has not got back to me...4 months later. So I paid for a job that he didn't finish, so I probably won't use them again. read more

I cannot say enough about how satisfied we are with the work, the staff at Eddys Tree Service did today. The job was large. Large trees over 200ft. quite a number of side trees that needed to be removed and a large number of trees that just needed to be trimmed. The guys arrived promptly at 7am, and were hard at work. His staff was awesome. Each person knew their job and went about their business as if it a well tuned machine. Helmuts , Safety Lines and an Awareness of where each person was at made it a safety prioritized operation. It was a long day , (10 Hours) but you wouldn't know it the way each single person just kept going about their jobs. Our yard made it impossible for tall cranes and alot of machinery. All the trees were cut by climbing, so it was paramount we were comfortable with Eddy and his staff. They are Insured and Experienced. We will be having them out again when the need arises on our 3/4 acre lot. I would highly recommend Eddy and his staff. Oh, by the way. The estimate was same day and affordable. After they left- other than more than a half a dozen trees gone and another eight trimmed....the clean up made it hard to know work had been done, except for the trees being gone. read more

These guys don't screw around! Eddy's Tree Services came for an estimate the morning after I called. The boss asked if the price was good. I said it was about the same as everyone else, so he knocked it down a bit. Everyone was really nice. I can't believe how hard everyone worked. They arrived on time, got to work right away and were non stop the entire time. They cut down a huge old Elm tree in the yard. It was amazing to watch the effort and teamwork. The sound of the thud the tree made as it fell to the ground was so cool!!!! My husband threw in a few more requests, to keep some wood for woodworking and to trim an additional tree that was getting close to our neighbor's satellite dish. I was hesitant to ask but they were so nice and they did it. They hauled all the trunks and limbs. They cleaned up all the leaves and debris. They ground all the tree stumps even the difficult ones near the fence. They did not have to remove the fence as some of the other estimates I got said they would have to do. They left a huge pile mulch for us to keep for our gardening. If I made more money and could afford it I would have paid them more!!
