On September 22 2025, my mother and I had these guys do 7 windows for us and its been a nightmare…read moretrying to get them to straighten it out. 5 out of 7 windows are installed misaligned, meaning they literally are not centered in any shape, form or fashion to the foundation wall. This is both visible from outside and especially inside. You can clearly/easily see how one side of each window will be all the way in and one side will be all the way out. 3 windows have damage to the vent screens with 1 of those vent screens actually having a tear in the screen where the corner of a another glass block window actually scratched the vent glass itself. How do I know this? I watched them unload all 7 windows out of the back of a Buick towncar where they couldn't even be bothered to put something in-between each window to help avoid accidental transportation damage. Also one window has chipped glass on the exterior of the window. 6 out of 7 windows have visible product barcodes that you can see in every angle that you look at the windows which is ludicrous that they thought that was acceptable to the customer. Their installers installed damaged windows that they had to have seen/known at the time and just didn't care. Their installers also left me a slop mess under the 1 bathroom wall window with mortar all over the place. My mother and I have called, emailed and I have went to their place of business which was unbelievably closed around noon on a Friday. The owner stated in a email on October 19th that they would make it right which still hasn't happened as of November 2 2025. We would have never used this company had we would have known that we were going to have damaged windows, crooked installations and a plethora of lovely barcodes to look at forever. To add insult to injury it sucks being told your right that they need to make it right and nothing ever happening as a result of it. I have tried to avoid filing a mhic claim but I have to at this stage as they are avoiding both my mother and I at all costs. I would like to make a point in stating that I have not called repeatedly every day all day, I have given a bare minimum of 4 to 5 days at a time to get a response and that just hasn't happened. We want them to either remanufactor every window or refund us as we didn't pay 2802.00 for this kind of sloppy work. I hope this helps someone else as what they did to us is unacceptable and they are doing nothing about it besides dragging it out further with no resolution. When you see this Mr. Scott Fava, I've been incredibly patient, please call one of us and either cut a check and refund us or remanufactor these windows and make it right. Update 11/10/25, we dug into Mr. Fava hard and found he lost his MHIC license in Februrary 2025, he has a 213,000 dollar IRS judgement against him, he has new and prior claims against him and it would seem he hasn't paid any of his debts in a long time. Do Not Under Any Circumstances give this jackass any of your money, time or consideration for his work as he isn't licensed and is literally out here robbing peter to pay paul as we are fairly certain he did this shit to us just as a quick money grab to pay down his judgements against him. Absolutely ridiculous, we did a pretty good overall look at Maryland Glass Block before we did business with them and wish we would have looked into Mr. Fava personally a lot harder. He robbed us of over 2800 with his silicone constructed, misaligned and barcode laden windows all while promising us he would make it right. His failure to make it right for us is going to result in another lawsuit as he committed a fraudulent act against us personally by operationing under the guise of being a legitimate business when he was no longer licensed. I will update this as the matter proceeds. We have already started the process.

AA Exteriors was also one of the only companies willing to find a solution creating a roof that seamlessly blended and fused into my existing build for a reasonable price. Nick and his crew definitely delivered, and they were out on the job site from start to finish. While the permitting process through Anne Arundel County took a while and was by far the most difficult part, Nick worked quickly and efficiently on everything he could control including the: planning/design, demo, foundation build, decking boards, roof construction, screening, and punch out work. Through each step of the process, Nick kept the work area clean and I never felt like my dogs were at risk of injury when letting them outside to go to the bathroom. During the job, Nick made some excellent recommendations including recessed lighting around the roof of the porch and using decking boards instead of lattice to close in the deck. He also handled some extra tasks like cleaning the gutters, power washing the siding, laying down mulch and grass seed, and planting shrubbery. All this to say that Nick truly cares about the job he does and making sure the customer is happy with the finished product. We are nervous homeowners. We took off work to be there. Unlike other construction we have used, Creative has only ONE crew that installs. That weight is on the ONE foreman who will have to take off work unexpectedly. No one showed. #2 - Calls the day of. We were called the morning of and asked "Can they come today?" We felt this "same day" scheduling was very erratic, compared to what we experienced with this company before. #3 - Customers - mark your wires and inform your adjuster. Your buried internet and automower wires are not marked by the Utility company. Inform your adjuster so he/she can help you get these marked. The 3-star rating was a 1-star. The company took time to speak with us about the issues, so we are showing some teamwork. Gary has been there for decades and knows his stuff. The management here - doesn't have time for conversation or empathy. They will throw the paper work back in at you, and you can see that response in their comments to reviews here. Sometime everything legal isn't moral/correct. We aren't sure we will use them again. It just seems sloppy and unorganized for our type of property ownership. I'm sure it would work great for other types of homeowners.

I would highly recommend against using this company…read more I was given a reasonable quote from them for a new fence for my yard, so that my dog can play without getting out. I decided to go ahead and signed a contract and scheduled the work. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, however this is about all that went well. The fence was installed very sloppily with several issues. I immediately tried to resolve these issues with creative deck design, however they argued and refused to do anything. They will not stand by their work at all, and will instead insist that it was the best that they can do. Eventually the issues were resolved with my fence, after several months repeatedly asking them to resolve the issues. However I can't give any better review because these issues should have never been there in the first place. Additionally when if issues did arise, they should have been addressed rather than trying to avoid fixing it. For anyone else considering this company, please read the reviews and pay attention to the bad reviews. There is a common theme amongst all of them, these aren't just bad reviews from people not getting their way. I've also put two pictures of their workmanship up, it will speak for itself.

Foreman and two assistants arrived earlier than scheduled which was great. Cleaned debris and pulled remaining weeds out of cracks. Also, cleaned edges towards the end where grass was overgrown. Big cracks were filled in and the team left. An hour later another team of three showed up with sealant and finished the job. The time it took was exactly what I had been told. Reliable, Punctual, Detailed, and customer service oriented.
