I shopped around for a deck for my home and after having several contractors not show for a quote, change their quote on me, or push a specific product, I was extremely frustrated. I posted on FB about my complaints and somebody recommended HNH Deck & Porch. I gave Henry a call and he came over the same day to give us an estimate. He brought his ipad and was able to show us examples of work he had done. He also brought some deck material samples. He did not try to push any type of decking on us and encouraged us to visit a showroom to compare our options. We made our selection, signed our contract, and shortly after, Henry began work on our deck. It was so easy. He took care of everything like the permit and then got to work. In under 5 days, he built us a beautiful PVC deck with rails and a gate. He also handled the inspection. Throughout the process, he promptly answered questions and replied to emails. His pricing was very fair. I can't say enough good things. (And this is rare for me because I mostly use Yelp to complain.) I would give him 6 stars if I could. read more

This is the first time I have ever taken the time to write any type of review, but I felt that I needed to write one for HNH Deck & Fence. After taking the time to interview many contractors to build a new screened- in- porch and Azek deck, we decided to go with HNH. I have to say that in all our years of working with contractors, my husband and I have never been happier!! The work and professionalism that we received with HNH far exceeded our expectations. Both Henry and Don were at our home every day working on our project- rain or shine. After working a minimum of 8 hours every day, they left our house each day never leaving behind a mess. They completed the job within an appropriate time period and their work was outstanding. They also pulled all the permits for the job and the final inspections for the entire project passed- no problem. My husband and I could not recommend HNH Deck & Fence enough! We had a great experience with Henry building our deck. He was quick to get us an estimate and very straightforward about what our options were, not trying to push us into anything expensive. He told us when he'd be able to fit us into his schedule, and got the job done very quickly. The notation that popped up after I hit the fifth star said "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" That just about says it all. In singing the praises of Henry and Don, I could write an epistle but will try to keep it short. I have dealt with many contractors at my home over the years and have never been happier than I was with Henry. I had a dreadful experience with the deck contractor not showing up to do the job. A month later he removed my existing decks and did not show up again. I started the bidding process over...I called HNH Deck and Porch and two other contractors. I can't say enough about Henry. He came to my home at the time he said he would be here. He looked, spoke, and acted in such a professional manner, I was impressed. He took my drawings and got back to me with an estimate. He responded quickly to emails, came back to my home to work out questions I had, always remaining professional and letting me know he wanted to build the deck I wanted. Henry and Don worked...continuously. They came early and worked in whatever weather we had. They were professional, no unpleasant conversation, always interested in what I wanted and concerned about safety around the deck. All of this and I have gorgeous decks. There is not one thing I would change. These two guys are perfectionists. I can't say enough about them. I would recommend them to anyone.
