Mr. Vladimir Kagarlitskiy was hired multiple times by my ex, who is currently subject to a domestic…read moreviolence restraining order, a criminal protective order, and three pending criminal charges. I do not know whether Mr. Kagarlitskiy was acting under my ex's specific instructions, but on one occasion he came to my home, attempted to open our door, which was very creepy and scary. After failed, he then took out his phone and took photographs through our windows into the interior of our house. On another occasion, he repeatedly came to my office and continued to approach our front desk, even after staff clearly informed him that I did not normally work there. He then left the documents and walked off, and claimed I got "served". The court decided it's not a valid service but more harassment and dismissed the case. He also represented that he had been "sent by the court," which clearly was false and misleading. These actions were highly unprofessional and inappropriate. They also raised serious concerns about whether his conduct went beyond the legitimate service of legal documents and instead facilitated my ex's ongoing pattern of criminal behaviors, including domestic violence, stalking and harassment. If you are considering hiring him, I encourage you to carefully evaluate these issues and conduct your own due diligence. There are many professional process servers available who carry out their work without engaging in conduct that raises these kinds of concerns, and potentially can get your case dismissed due to inappropriate service.

In my case, I had just learned my party was leaving the country & I just recieved their adress. I…read moreneeded to serve someone in their home city on a Thursday night and if I had no luck, I needed another process server to serve the person in a entirely different city on Friday. The urgency was that the person was leaving the country on Saturday. I called several process servers in both cities and had difficulty getting a response. Though I worked with a very responsive server in the city for Friday and I paid him (as it was getting late, 5p, on Thursday and I wasn't getting any calls back about serving the party on Thursday... Even the butte county sheriff's office neglected for an entire two weeks to call me back) eventually Amber from AW Legal services called me back. I was frustrated that I had lost the money (due to the lack of responsiveness from several places in Chico) from paying the other processor for the Friday job. However once Amber called, we discussed the entire process, the identification information, and her pricing. I had a fee waiver for the county, but you can't use it if they never call you back so I was happy to find that Amber's pricing is extremely reasonable!!! I made the payment and I advised the Friday process server (in the Friday city), right away, that I might be able to get it done that evening (with AW Legal) but the chances were slim. He told me to let him know if I got it done. Shocked as all get out, Amber, with only basic address info (wasn't 100% sure about the way the apartment # was written) managed to serve the party within two hours. But here's the icing on the cake... My paralegal had multiple misscommunications with myself & Amber in regards to getting the original paperwork from Amber so that it could be delivered to the court. Eventually, I had to cut out the middle man and (2 weeks after service) ask Amber to please send it directly to me. She paid out of her pocket to overnight it to me. This act alone deserves five stars! I was extremely thankful. Amber will send you simple smile emojis, one word answers, and she's not very verbose in her texts (Lol) but she gets to the point, will get the job done, quickly, and correctly. And she is the type that will stick with you until it is done! I couldn't have been happier with her kindness, her commitment to completing the job, her relaxed nature (at a time that is stressful to her clients), and her professionalism.
