Terrible Experience - Botched Botox Injection and No Accountability…read more I'm extremely disappointed and upset with my recent Botox treatment at Vio Med Spa Solon. What was supposed to be a routine procedure turned into a visible mistake. Worst of all, the company has refused to take any responsibility. During the injection, the injector hit a blood vessel multiple times, causing immediate bruising and discomfort. I expressed concern, but was told it was "normal" and would resolve. Unfortunately, it didn't. Within a day or two, a large, linear bruise developed straight down the center of my forehead - something that clearly indicates the injector struck a vessel more than once in the same area. When I called days later, the injector apologized and recalled hitting the blood vessel twice I've had Botox in the past with zero issues, so I know this is not a typical side effect when done correctly. It was clearly the result of poor technique and lack of caution. What's even worse is how the clinic has handled the situation. I reached out for a plan to address the damage - but instead, I was met with cold, dismissive responses and zero accountability. No refund, no offer for corrective treatment, no genuine concern for what happened. Just that this is a "normal " risk. All the treatments at this practice are well over $100 since they are cosmetic. IMO, who walks around with cash to cover this. However, the reason I am writing this review is concerning the experience I had today. As always, when called back I was asked about the treatments I wanted. The assistant was insistent on trying to sell me additional treatments that I was not interested in and seemed confused when I repeatedly stated what I wanted done. Please note, I always do the same thing, brow furrow and crows feet. I am not exaggerating when she repeatedly stated that I wanted two other areas for neurotoxin treatment that I did not want (forehead and lower face). I corrected her multiple times and it struck me odd as I always do the same thing. I was stunned when Dr. Tish came in and injected my forehead (her habit is to come in and inject without verifying the areas). I stopped her from proceeding. Please understand, my forehead doesn't need help, but my eyes and furrow do. As you all know, the neurotoxins are extremely expensive and she wasted my money injecting an area that I didn't want injected. And as a result, less was left for the areas that I wanted targeted. I assumed she would apologize for the mistake and then correct the error. No, she did not. I am extremely dissatisfied with the results as I didn't get the full service that I paid for and she didn't offer to remedy the situation. I will never go there again and you are a fool if you trust your face to her. Lastly, any Doctor that is doing a procedure should, out of due diligence, confirm with the patient the procedure.
