The park loses power often. The breaker boxes can't accommodate the energy needs for modern appliance and EV vehicles. California's "The Switch is on" rebates program for removing gas appliance and wood burning fireplaces and replacing them with heat pumps will be unavailable to the parks homeowners because the amperage size of the breaker boxes. The breaker boxes only accommodate 50amps, which is 1/3 a normal amount of amperage for a home these days. Therefore, owning an electric vehicles may have you blowing breakers on your home and a possible fire hazard. The laundry-mat machines were removed and the residents have waited over a year for them to be replaced. The office staff that works in the office do a good job of keeping the park as nice and they can, unfortunately it's the owners of the park who don't make the staff/resident relationship enjoyable by not doing the upgrades in a timely manner. But in an area that has high home cost the park space fees are affordable compared to a million dollar home. I do appreciate neighbors and staff. I just wanted an add my YELP review so future buyers have all the spilled tea on the park. I don't hate the park but I wish there was a this review when I purchased my home.

My friend's father lived in this place and it was the worse mistake he made. I believe the…read moretreatment he received by management during the end of his life contributed to his death. Don't be fooled by the beautiful tree-lined streets and "Pleastantville" looking surroundings. It comes at a cost (literally). This is a 55 and older park. Yet management doesn't seem to understand that hounding elderly people to meet unrealistic expectations at keeping things in "perfect" mode degrades a person's quality of life. The park management literally hounds people about: 1. Keeping your lawn perfect. 2. Washing or Painting your unit 3. Trimming any trees or bushes on your lot. 4. Removing any bird feeders or water bowls. 5. Removing trash (including cars that aren't running and sitting in your driveway) 6. Removing items on your patio that aren't patio furniture (you can't decide). They literally tell you that you must fork out money to: 1. Strip and re-lay the porch carpeting. 2. Wash or paint your unit. 3. Trim existing trees that are on the lot. The costs add up to hundreds of dollars a year. Most elderly people get to a point where they can't keep up with the lawns and have to pay people to do it for them. This gets questionable as my friend's dad was victimized by one of the local "gardeners" who saw his health was degrading and started double-charging him. What's worse is that this Nazi type of interrogation went from being a yearly ritual to an almost non-stop monthly intrusion of life-sucking harassment. Do you really want to live the end of your life in this kind of hostile environment? If not, make sure you check to see that whatever retirement mobile home community you are thinking of choosing takes into consideration the limitations of the elderly, and is more thoughtful than this hell-hole in making the appropriate accommodations in providing the BEST end-of-life living possible for the elderly living there and NOT just increased income for the property owners.

I did move from New England Village a couple of years ago but I lived there for 10 years. What…read morethese two people writing a bad review are actually saying is that New England Village wants to maintain a really lovely place to live. If you are the kind of person who lets your home and grounds go, for any reason, then don't move in. We are also older people who took pride in our place. I hated seeing people with dead lawns, weeds all over the place and a dirty looking home. Thank goodness the management wants to keep things clean and neat. I applaud them for doing it. My husband used to help our neighbors when they had problems and couldn't mow or sweep, etc. Lots of the neighbors did that. Feral cats were a big issue too and too many people would leave food and water out. Caused such an issue with rodents. Again if you are interested in living in a really nice mobile home park and enjoy nice neighbors and a clean clear swimming pool, Jacuzzi, pool tables, a wonderful club house, lots of activities for seniors, I recommend this place. Don't listen to the other reviewers, unless you don't care about cleanliness and beauty. This place is NOT a trailer park!

Horrible place to send your loved one, do not send your loved one to this facility. My mom is there…read moreright now and what I am hearing is awful, thank goodness she had good friends there that are trying to help her, but being that is a place that is supposed to help people and yet they are rude, unprepared, unprofessional, and slow in helping my mom, I cannot believe this place is still in operation. And getting a meeting with them is even worse. My mom has had to wait for her pain medication after having a hip replacement surgery, yet if she didn't sign the contract she wasn't getting anything she was told by the med nurse, she was sick and had pneumonia and ended up in ICU, had lots of issues, went to this place cause she is on her own in AZ and they are supposed to help her get better so she can go home, yet they didn't believe her when she told them her health issues, they were not prepared for her upon arrival, they did not give her information about the place, they did not tell her there was a bath schedule, they gave her an intake at 11 pm at night when she was tired and exhausted and needed rest when she first arrived, it takes 45 mins to get her dressed today, and they play favorites with other residents they "like", if the nurses don't like you then you have to wait for everything. Being I live away from my mother it pains me that a place that is supposed to be trusted to take care of the elderly or help people get better so they can get back to better health doesn't take much pride in their facility or the people they hire to take care of our loved ones.
