My goodness if you want to hear bragging about all the academia clients she has then you are in for a treat. She could not stop talking about all the important customers she has! How about her work? Well, first of all facials are done differently. To start with, she did not analyze the skin. She cleaned it, smearing product over the face, then put the steam for a long time on only one side, the other side of the face wasn't educated enough to get steam? I asked her a few questions, which she did not answer, she did not explain what she was doing. Kept advertising a product she did notknow how to pronounce the French correctly, and kept telling us how we would be eligible for expensive upgrades. The checkout? No water was offered. Painful, the ownder took a very long time. Just no proper customer service. In these days where we are looking at our pennies, these folks don't deserve your hard earned money. It was very clean, and they did perform a service, but it wasn't industry standard. I sure hope I won't be sick this coming week. Masks are easy to get by these days, or don't come to work if you are sick. Too expensive for NO expertise! No real knowledge of her craft. Please don't go there.

I love the space! The Medical Asthetics and Hair Spa are in separate buildings and I have only been into the hair salon part of the business. It is located in a renovated older building and it is in keeping with the feel of midtown. They are very accommodating with tea, coffee and other drinks in the waiting area. The best part is that I have never had to wait! They do have less open hours (better quality of life for those who work there) than a lot of the salons that I have been to so just keep that in mind and plan in advance for your hair care day.

After a few minutes of looking at their schedule the lady at the hair studio said maybe it's at the medical spa. Why yes, that's where I scheduled my services. But as a first time customer had no idea there were 2 separate buildings and entrances. So I walk over, fill out my paperwork and sit down to be called. At 1:10pm the receptionist (who was sweet the entire time and had no control of what's happening) informs me that the aesthetician will be a "few" min late. I ask "A few as in 5?" And she replies "As in about 10min". 30 minutes later I'm still sitting there with no update and getting antsy... as a customer who's had facials and skincare services done all across the country (NYC, LA, SF, Portland, Atlanta) and the globe, I had to get up and leave as this was not acceptable by my standards and clearly bad business. I don't want to tell them how to run their business and do hope they have a lot of repeat clientele, but from my experience it didn't seem they cared about getting new repeat clients if they couldn't have the common courtesy to start on time. 10, 15 min I can understand, but 30 is not acceptable in my mind. I wanted to love this place and make it my go-to for all my skin care needs but unfortunately I will need to find another spot.

After a year of seeing her, I came to my appointment to have another nurse there who Krystal told me was going to do part of my procedure. Krystal said she was in training and would oversee her work. Well, Krystal left the room!! And the new nurse with her shaky hands injected me with toxin, literally apologizing with each shot. It was a horrible experience that ended with me in an ER with a drooping eye and mouth and horrific migraine. When I texted them the damage they'd done, they reminded me this was a side effect. I went back to the office like a dummy where that same incompetent, new injector was with a new nurse ready to inject my face again. It was a very traumatic experience that led to long term facial paralysis of almost two years. I know Botox has negative effects but leaving me alone with a nervous, new, apologetic injector definitely contributed to my situation. I think of her poor practice every time I see my face in the mirror. Please avoid.
