Not only did she focus on my face, but she also applied product and massaged my neck and décolleté which was a nice addition to the facial. The entire experience was so relaxing from the cleansing to the extractions. But most importantly, my skin looked so bright, plump and hydrated when she finished. Amanda is the best lash artist in the midsouth, perhaps the south. I always get compliments and ask who does them. In addition to lash services I've had the plasma pen treatment twice. Talk about incredible results! As a Botox user, the plasma pen has reduced fine lines and wrinkles all over my face. I no longer get Botox injections on my 11s or around my laugh lines. I was planning my Memphis wedding from Chicago, so I needed to work with a beauty salon that was responsive, easy to work with, and able to produce a stunning look without a trial hair and makeup session. My hair and makeup were done by Brooke, who made me look gorgeous and was wonderful to talk to while sitting in a chair for a few hours. I called the studio to book my appointment 3 months out, and then Brooke followed up with me personally over text to check in and set up a styling plan. I brought in a few pictures of styles that I liked and Brooke tried a couple of looks and ideas before we settled on a perfect curled, casual updo. I also am very pale and freckled, so was worried about the look of heavy foundation making me look markedly different. Brooke suggested air makeup (for a $25 up charge), but the look was so much more natural and flawless that it was absolutely worth it. While I did not have bridesmaids, they did the mom's hair with short but stylish looks. (Not over the top, but elegant.) Studio LaRue sent three people (1 could only stay an hour) to my hotel room to take care of 5 hair updos and 3 makeup sessions, for a total of $750. (I think prices as $65 for bridal makeup, which includes brows and fake lashes and $75 for an updo.) They were a little pricey, but the ladies were professional and everyone looked wonderful. All hair and makeup was completed with time to spare. Would absolutely recommend Studio LaRue (Brooke is great if you can book her) for a bride looking for a professionally done look.
