I messaged them last Saturday not expecting to hear anything for quite a while as so many other people needed trees removed also. To my surprise, I received a message within an hour and was told that I could get an estimate later the same day! Of course i jumped at the opportunity. They came and the price was absolutely reasonable so I agreed. Little did i know they would say they could cut it up, remove and dispose of it that very same day. I was so happy that I nearly cried. If you appreciate a reasonably priced family owned business that does quality work give them a call. You will not be disappointed. Even though some of their family members homes have burned down they were still professional and cleaned up beyond my expectations. On a Friday, Juan stopped by to survey our gardening needs, had some helpful suggestions, and said he could get started the following Monday. His crew got right to work weeding our silver carpet grass as well as trimmimg overgrown ivy and general clean-up work around the front & backyard. We soon learned that Juan & his crew were MUCH more than a maintenance service. Because there was some extra yard-design work we had held-off on, we realized we'd better tackle it now that we had such a capable crew. We had some design ideas and Juan said 'We can absolutely do all of that deconstructed granite work, design it with bender boards, pick-up your desired plants at a nearby nursery (as well as some gravel for design) and plant everything. In short, within 2 days, Juan, Daniel, Jesus & crew transformed an overgrown back area into a desirable drought-tolerant destination on our property. Not only that, they took down a small concrete block wall and custom-built us some really great swinging-gate redwood doors for easy access. (At a third of the cost a vinyl door company had quoted us!) They also did so much more (including scraping & painting the side of our 10' barn) and were always ready & willing to pitch-in however we needed them with really great attitudes and super-pleasant work ethics. Not only will they be our go-to garden maintenance crew, they will also be our first call for any other yardscaping we might need done in the future. We texted them the day before yesterday, got a free estimate yesterday and then they got all of the work done today. Four guys showed up promptly around 7:30 and worked very hard cutting down half a dozen trees and probably like 20-30 bushes. All the work was done the way that we requested it and they cleaned up the branches and took all the green waste with them when they left! We are so impressed with how hard they worked and how much they were able to accomplish in 4.5 hours. I don't even think they took a break the whole time they were working, but I hope they got one in. We feel very fortunate to have found them and we look forward to hiring them again in the future.

They were overpriced compared to other landscape estimates I received, but we chose their…read morelandscaping services because they offered a year of interest free credit option. We hired them for a full backyard Reno with full wall of ficus trees, full DG backyard with gravel edges, and a wood fence. Everything was going smoothly with scheduling and communication. When the actual work got started, I noticed the DG was not high-quality. It contained a lot of large rocks. Also, they were not digging out enough dirt before laying the DG. I had to bring that up to the foreman and they did dig up some more dirt before laying the DG. When the work was done, a foreman did a quick walk-through with me and I thought everything looked good. We were told not to walk on the wet DG for a day or two. So two days later when I did a better inspection, I started to notice a lot of shotty work. Specifically with the bender board dividing the gravel and I noticed that they used really small nails for the wooden fence. They did come back a month later to fix the DG because there were areas that were "bouncy", as if not enough DG was laid down. They had to dig up big rocks that were preventing the DG from compacting and they laid more DG on some areas. They also tried to fix some bender board problems, but they did a really horrible job. Three months later, some wood planks on our wood fence start curving and popping up. I called the company because our DG and our fence are under a year warranty. Jake asked me to email him with photos and he said he would call back to schedule a day for repair. Since then I have not heard back from them; they have completely ghosted me. I waited a month then I started calling and no one will pick up the phone. I've left messages and I sent text messages to project manager, Amanda, who was great at communication at first, but now has completely ghosted me as well. Meanwhile, we're still paying monthly for this backyard that is falling apart way too quickly. I'm going to just hire someone to fix the fence before it damages further. I would not recommend them again. Completely overpriced for what you get.

Our request was also a bit of an atypical one- we asked him to set up our manual pool valve on our automated sprinkler system so we could keep the pool level while we're away. He did a great job of creatively addressing this and now we have an amazing system that doesn't require our constant monitoring to make sure it doesn't drop too low. Thank you so much Steve!
