My daughter is very young and only did the recreation program, but all of the teachers (especially Tammy and cooper) were absolutely amazing! Because of DI both of my kids are way above their age level in all genres from just one year of dancing there. The staff is extremely professional, and the owner is just so on top of everything at the studio. The best part of the studio is that none of the teachers or staff (Including the owner) get involved with ANY of the drama at the studio. They place the kids where they will do the best in technique and maturity wise. The only reason why we left is because we moved out of state, however we are going back every year for some of the conventions they participate in so we have the chance to dance with them. They care about molding your dancer into a professional dancer, not just a competitive dancer who stops dancing at 18 when they age out of competitions. They work with the seniors in getting them into the right collages and help them earn scholarships to pay for tuition. The owner and staff are well connected as well to get your foot in the door if you want to go more towards the entertainment industry. The ballet program is top notch with dancers that get into the most prestigious dance schools. (They have placed at least 3 dancers at Juilliard last year). They also have great adult ballet, tap, and hop hop classes that are so much fun! If you have the opportunity to go to DI do it!
