The set up doesn't make a ton of sense to me, and they lack some/enough equipment. For example, they only have 1 hip thrust machine. The weight area is a little tight. I got the grand tour and saw all of the special workout rooms, childcare, coworker space, Pickleball courts, pools, recovery, areas, cold, plunges, saunas, and more. I loved how vast the actual gym floor was, with plenty of machines and free weights, everything you could think of, and not too crowded. Although it was a Saturday afternoon, I get the feeling that it's never unbearably crowded. They have enough machines to go around to avoid long lines. I got a great workout in, and then we hit the showers. We went in the sauna for a bit, as well as switched between the hot tub and cold plunge, it was really nice. I love that the locker rooms have everything you need, large and small towels, toiletries, and hairdryers The showers are hot with great water pressure and everything feels very clean. I had such a nice experience here. However, I don't think it's worth the membership price. Not only is it almost half an hour from me, but even if it was two minutes away, i don't think i could justify the $330 a month price tag. There's just not enough value there.

I tried workout apps, weight training notebooks, every website and guide and book to try to train myself into some sort of motivation... I would manage to have some discipline for a week, max -- and then I'd skip a day, and then a few days, and then it had been months. Then my partner found The Fitness Branch. He loved it, immediately. "It's kettlebells, you'll love it, I promise." I was skeptical -- but he signed me up for a few private sessions to get the hang of it and man, I haven't looked back. That first session with Leandra changed my life. She was the very first person to truly understand and care about my fitness needs, and offer a steady and sustainable journey towards my goals. Getting stronger physically has helped my brain get stronger, and that's worth the whole endeavor -- but it's also incredibly satisfying to lay on the gym floor in a puddle of your own sweat after working really hard and having a great time while doing it. Leandra also has a background in PT -- so whenever aches and pains appear from your daily life, she always has a stretch or seven to help set you right. She understands the physiology of the kettlebell movement to the point where she can adapt an entire workout on the fly to fit your specific needs, especially if you have an injury or a flare-up. The facility on 44th is always clean and organized. Even on busy days there are enough stations and equipment available for everyone. The variety of weights, machines, treadmills, elipticals, TRX, rowers and other equipment insures you can work every muscle from head to toe. The upstairs fitness room is a great place to stretch or do body weight exercises. The nice thing about the facility is how it welcomes all ages and fitness levels. Men and women share the space. And members have access 24-7. The staff greets you as you arrive and leave during daytime hours. I worked out for years at a couple of the big national fitness chains and some days would leave as soon as I arrived becauseof the crowds and high pressure atmosphere. AF is more laid back and welcoming and I see myself sticking with them for the long haul.

Both owners threatened me via emails and only care about the money. They dont care about you as a human. I would add photos but I think this should suffice. Avoid these people and the fact this trainer is a KNOWN issue and then to be told "they aren't an employee". If you pay a business $500 in rent to personal train you're a contracted employee.
