The first couple of times I went to this office, when I saw Dr. Wisdom, I thought they were great…read more After he left, the place went downhill. The last time I was there, the front desk talked badly about patients' medications and conditions loudly enough that I could hear it across the waiting room. Dr. Keer told me I had a mouth "full of cavities." I've never had a single cavity in my life, have always stayed up to date on my dental care, and got sealants on the teeth in question 3 years prior to this visit. At least, I think they were the teeth in question, because Dr. Keer never showed me which teeth on the X-ray, never showed me the lesions. Nothing. Just, "you have a mouth full of cavities," and off she went. Second opinion revealed I have zero cavities. Two spots that need to be watched--which I have known about for years--but nothing that needs to be filled. Then, the worst one (between that visit and my second opinion)--I took my son here for a cleaning and exam. All prior exams and cleanings up to date and normal. This time, my son came out of the back when he was done and said, "The dentist told me I have a cavity." I said, "Oh, is she going to come show me which one?" The front desk staff told me which tooth. No word from Dr. Keer, no showing me the x-rays, no reviewing the evidence to show me which tooth needs to be filled. Nothing. Totally inappropriate behavior all around. My whole family is going elsewhere now.

I came into the office for a routine dental cleaning, and my husband accompanied me. During our…read moreconversation at the front desk, it had been explained to us that my cleaning was covered by my insurance and would be free under our policy. At that point, a young woman at the front counter responded to my husband in a very rude and hostile manner and told us that we had to pay. My husband calmly asked what the charge was for, but she refused to explain. He asked again what the fee was, and instead of providing clarification, she called him "difficult." She then stated that she would not know the cost until I was already in the back receiving treatment. My husband explained that he was not comfortable proceeding without knowing the cost first and again asked for an explanation. The employee then told him there would be an additional $65 charge but still did not provide a reason for it. When he asked for clarification--because we are familiar with our dental coverage--she suddenly raised her voice and said "screw you" directly to him. My husband asked her to repeat what she said, and she again responded with "screw you." At that point he declined the service and we began to leave. As we were walking out, she yelled after him that he should never come back and that she "better not see him in public." As a man, he interpreted that statement as a threat. He initially started to respond but then decided it was not worth escalating the situation and walked away. She then turned to me and made an inappropriate comment suggesting that I should leave my "abusive husband," which was completely untrue and uncalled for. My husband was simply asking reasonable questions about charges that did not match what our dental insurance policy covers. We carry a very comprehensive dental plan, and he was trying to understand why we were being asked to pay for something that should have been covered. There was absolutely no reason for the employee to behave the way she did or speak to us in such an unprofessional and aggressive manner. To be fair, aside from this individual, the rest of the staff seemed polite and professional. Had this employee not initiated this confrontation, I would not be writing this review today. Unfortunately, her conduct created a very negative experience for us. I would not recommend this place as if you do plan on emptying your wallet , see these places have a contract with your insurance company which states they must take a certain amount of money for services , but they go around them by charging more or forcing you to pay the difference which is contradictory to the contract they have with the carriers , call your carrier you will find out everything i state is facts .

Scheduling was a breeze. Check in and check out went smoothly. Dentist: Dr. Polizois is fantastic and if you say be gentle, he actually listens! His bedside manner is excellent. His Assistant Janet was great. She explained everything and delivered service with a smile. Most of the staff has been there for years. That says a lot. All of them do a great job. The space is very tidy. They follow COVID19 restrictions. Solid five stars. So glad to be treated with dignity and respect. Happy employees mean happy patients.

They handled my concern with compassion, patience and professionalism and continued to focus on fixing the problem. It has been ages since I've had an actual dentist that I trusted enough for routine and preventative care. But Karrie and Dr Polizois made me comfortable and took great care evaluating my situation and presenting the options. Remarkable really considering my anxiety and reluctance with any dentist/dental practice. They are warm and capable, accommodating and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

To start, EVERY TIME I went in, they recommend getting a night guard with long description why (EVERY TIME, even though I said no EACH TIME....same to my husband too. Dentists have never told either of us we had a problem before here). It got to the point where I would l walk in and say, "I don't want a night guard", before they would start talking. They recommended a filling on my 12-year-old daughter's Baby Tooth cavity (which was not in critical shape), the tooth fell out 2 weeks later (thank goodness I went with my gut). My friend who has NEVER had a cavity her whole life, had to get a filling at THIS office. They recommended my husband get a filling the next visit, (spoiler alert, our new dentist, didn't see a problem with that tooth.) Final straw, they recommended I get a crown on a tooth that was not hurting, and I could not see what they were talking about on the Xray, which would cost me over $500. Done! Found a new dentist. My new dentist DID NOT recommend a crown, they replaced the filling and I still have my $500. (FYI, new dentist does not recommend a night guard to either of us).

It will cost ~$57,000 to repair the damage Dr. Djawdan has done to my mouth/teeth. Since my last…read morereview I have gotten several opinions from dentists, periodontists, and prosthodontists as to the best route to restore my bite and improve the health, function, gum recession, and aesthetics. The good news is that I don't have peridontal disease thanks to my excellent oral hygiene, despite all the trauma my mouth was put through. Note, I've never had a single dentist say I had periodontal disease, though Dr. Djawdan tried to claim I had periodontal disease as an excuse for problems with my dental work. Of course if I don't have it now I most certainly didn't then when my mouth was in a healthier state 6 years ago. The dentist who provided the comprehensive review is extremely talented, and has the ability to do things Dr. Djawdan says couldn't be done, like making crowns with natural looking pink gumlines for areas with gum recession. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to have that done at this time, but it is comforting to know there are talented dentists out there who will take on the challenges caused by another dentists problems. The very good news is I found another fantastic dentist who was able to get me out of crisis mode with the 2 broken teeth that I had to keep recementing myself. He was able to repair the teeth by creating larger gold posts and new crowns - no implants!!! I had asked Dr. Djawdan if he could replace the fiber posts that kept breaking with stronger ones, and he said no. Turns out, he just didn't have the skill to do it. This dentist was AMAZING. What is most amazing is that he was able to correct my bite with a couple of quick adjustments! Dr. Djawdan drilled and drilled for years making things worse, never better. I hope you never have to endure something like that. Even though the pain on the right side of my face isn't completely gone, it is reduced. After not eating like a normal person for years, I had to relearn how to eat again, It is wonderful to now be able to chew without fear of swallowing a tooth or having one break off. To be clear, I was NEVER told that the treatment plan Dr. Djawdan provided and that I went with would have a poor/guarded prognosis as his office claims. Would you hand over $30,000 when the best result you would get is poor? That would be insane. Especially - when I had a treatment plan with another dentist, Dr. Burch, and he was confident that he could provide an excellent result. Even after Dr. Djawdan caused the broken teeth, gum recession, and maladjusted bite that put my mouth in a more damaged state, no dentist after him offered a guarded/poor prognosis with their treatment plans, and they had a harder problem to fix so that claim is so illogical. I was happy with Dr. Burch's plan, but Dr. Djawdan gave me multiple reasons that the implant route was better than the fixed bridge plan Dr. Burch offered, and with Dr. Djawdan being closer to the family member who would be driving me to appointments I went with him. Would an ethical dentist say, go with me and pay $30,000 for a poor prognosis instead of using the dentist that is confident they can give you an excellent result for the same amount. Would an ethical dentist tell a healthy person the best treatment plan for them is to remove all your teeth - when the dental code to preserve teeth first and do no harm? This is very twisted. Dr. Djawdan won't accept any personal responsibility. He tried to blame my problems on peridontal disease - which I didn't have confirmed by multiple dentists. Then he said I had 4 root canals on abutement teeth - which was a blatant lie he knew wasn't true proved by xrays.* Then he says he told me I would only have a poor/guarded prognosis and I happily paid $30,000 anyway. Really? What dentist would even offer poor/guarded results as an option. Even though he never said that to me, that is a pretty pitiful thing to claim when you are marketing yourself as offering "state-of-the-art," "high-quality" dental care. I know many people found my review helpful and wanted a follow up. I still have a long way to go but I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. *Dr. Djawdan's wife Rene removed the lie in reference to root canals on 4 teeth in her response after being called out on it, and now claims I had root canals on abutment teeth, when in fact only 1 abutment tooth in the treatment plan had a previous root canal.
